I made the mistake of getting Gorgonzola on my BBQ chicken. I don't know if it was the cheese or me but it did not taste good. I could barely take a few bits of 1 slice. I felt bad asking them to make me a new pizza. However they were extremely helpful and make me a fresh new pizza without any Gorgonzola. Spent an evening walking my local mall and had no intention of eating in the food court...until I spotted this place. Now, I'm quite familiar with this thin-crust, make your own pie style since I've been to Pieology many times. But I had no idea they had put one in the Brea mall. I decided to get one and see how they compared to Pieology. Very similar but noticed they had a few ingredients that Pieology doesn't. Whole roasted garlic cloves?? Yes and thank you! My "make-your-own" consisted of olive oil base (no sauce!), mozzarella, parmesan, goat cheese, the yummy garlic cloves, cherry tomatoes, kalamata olives (I'd put these on everything I ate if I could), mushrooms, zucchini and had them cook it extra-crispy (was worth the extra wait). Had them put the after additions on after it came out of the oven...tons of arugula, cracked black pepper and pesto drizzle. DELICIOUS! I wish I could've eaten then entire pizza but 4 slices pushed me over the edge. I'm so happy I have a place to eat in the mall! read more

Great concept - it's like a Chipotle (or Freebirds) for pizza. The "Link In" was tasty (I substituted Kalamata olives for red peppers). Fresh thin crust and quality ingredients - done in 7 minutes. Pizza just the way you like it! read more

I would rate this a 3.5 star based on taste, but the service and plethora of seating gets it 4 stars. I have done the build your own and just the plain cheese. Always a decent pizza and fun experience. Good for large groups or just for a quick lunch bite for yourself. Definitely worth the price (build your own is $8.25 w/o beverage cost). What's all this talk about Pieology? Pieology schmiology... It's all about Blaze! I mean hello, the name alone should win you over, na'mean? Anyhow... I just had the best experience here. The pizza is delicious, but that's not what prompted my review. I wouldn't usually expect a lot out of a pizza place, or one in the mall, but for whatever reason this employee, (Jesse? I believe that was his name) just went above and beyond for me. I was in a rush and had my hands full with my starving kiddos and they are acting like monkeys and Jesse could see my frustration with them. He went out of his way to help smooth out my situation with my kids (distracting them with small kid talk) and help me not to feel like a crazy lady all in the matter of a minute. It really is in the details and I hope this review gets to you, Jesse.. You made my day and for that you'll definitely be seeing me (and my crazy kids) again! read more

Today was my first time trying Blaze Pizza and I can't wait to go back and create a new pizza. I walked up completely unsure about what to order. The nice man at the counter asked me if I had been there before and when I answered no, he explained how it worked. I decided to go with a White Top but wanted to add some other toppings. They do that for no extra charge. I figured I would not be able to eat the whole thing and planned to grab a box, but my pizza was so amazing I couldn't stop eating it! The crust was the highlight and the toppings were all good, made with high quality ingredients. I look forward to bringing my kids to one of their sit down locations and seeing what they will create. read more

Pizza is good..I ordered pan pizza that's not what I received. I asked for cheese and red peppers the girl who I asked rolled her eyes then went to give it to me. She only gave 2packets of red peppers and no cheese. She quickly walked away so I had to wait before asking again. I came in on Friday at 12:15. Customer service needs major improvements. read more

Plain and simple: Subway...but for pizza! We built our own toppings and sauce for our pizza and then they stuck it in the oven and within 10, maybe 15 minutes they called for us! We were very surprise at how great it all tasted! And its not very expensive, it was only $8 for our pizza and it did us well! read more

It amazes me how even during busy days this Blaze establishment always comes through, not only with their food but incredible service. I work in the mall and have gone to lunch here many times but today just set the bar so high for me. Today is their "pie day" which means lines through the food court and people getting antsy not wanting to wait or giving attitude. I have to give a shout out to Sarah and Anissa. They've both taken my order several times and I don't think I've ever seen either of them not smiling. Every single person working on the line today made me miss working in food! Which says a lot!! Clueless manager on Saturday afternoon. They burned my pizza by accident with black all over the crust, I mean large black sections, which was no big deal since the cashier just offered to make another one. I thought it was already taken care of in a nice friendly way. But then a bitchy manager girl came out and tried to scold me "you need to know -- this is normal, anything less would be undercooked, I went to corporate training." What?? Any baked goods are not supposed to have BLACK burned parts all over the place because first of all it tastes like charcoal, and secondly burning starchy foods creates acrylamides which cause cancer. The manager needs to go back to training on food safety on the topic of burning bread and acrylamide. When they re-made the pizza it was perfect with browned crust, how it's supposed to be. But the manager arguing with me about black burned food was strange. read more

I went here for the first time at 11 on a Friday. The guy working there was helpful. i put as many toppings as I wanted. He originally only put 2 leaves of basil, but I asked for more and he was happy to oblige. The price is fantastic ($8 for a personal pizza with unlimited toppings). The pizza came out within 5min and I ate. Crust was thin, so when I picked up a slice the tip immediately sagged. However, thats no problem for a pizza lover, just put the tip in first (yeah, i went there haha). read more

This is my second time going to blaze pizza. I ended up getting food poisoning, I was barfing all night. It was probably the worst experience ever. I am never going to blaze pizza again.
