I took my daughter and her friend to get Blaze pizza. The total was $36. I attempted to pay with a $50 bill. The staff became frazzled and went back and forth if they could take a $50. Ultimately the team "leader" told me they could not accept a bill greater than a $20. Then told me to walk across the parking lot to Burger King and they would cash it. Lol I said why would I do that? And why would Burger King want to cash money for someone who is not a patron? I then attempted to follow up with a manager later who denied the situation and gave no explanation to why I was asked to go to Burger King as if they were a bank. The manager was worthless and just as incompetent as the staff. There was no signage the establishment did not accept larger bill. The staff did not even attempt to verify if the bill. I questioned the staff why was there not a warning sign of their policy, the staff responded that they did have a sign but a general manager made them take it down. This made me laugh- so if it's down? Why is this an issue. In 2026 a $50 bill is not large and should be accepted. We will not be back. This is incompetence at its finest from staff to management. This by far was the worst "pizza" I've ever had the misfortune to eat. the double layer pepperoni pizza I ordered had 6 slices of pepperoni. the crust was super this and soggy. the sauce is filled with suger making it way too sweet. I've had far better frozen pizza than this garbage. I DO NOT recommend this plac. it's overpriced for the abs crap they serve. 2 thumbs down, you've been warned. I was very disappointed with this place , It was my 1st time here yesterday and I would definitely not recommend it . My pizza was out very quickly which I thought was great but the middle still had cheese that wasn't melted yet . I was excited to check out another Blaze Pizza location today for lunch while I am in Fort Myers for a work trip. This was such a cute location and had a ton of seating. When we walked in the employees were all so cheerful and greeted us. One of the people in our group has a gluten allergy and they were so helpful in letting her know what to order. Three times in a row, I've had problems: my order was ruined in the oven, given to the wrong customer, and today, a worker splashed me with a dirty rag while I was eating. The manager dismissed it, saying it was unavoidable and insisted they'd continue cleaning tables near diners. She even vented about numerous staff issues she'd already dealt with earlier today. If you crave their pizza, stick to takeout. While some managers, like this one young man who previously resolved a past issue(order given to another customer) are competent, others clearly aren't like the woman I interacted with today. I've been going to Blaze for years now & it never disappoints. This location is on the newer side & I haven't had an issue here since it's opened up. The staff is friendly & manages the crowds pretty well during peak hours. I've also seen them wiping down food areas when they have downtime which is good on managements end. We've been to Blaze Pizza many times. We never encountered any problem! You order the pizza you wanted. Watched them prepare them and make suggestion or correction as needed. The staff then places the pie by the oven and wait its turn going in the oven. When the pie is ready it is nice and steam hot. It is fairly simple process! Well, today, the production process broke down. We ordered a Meat Eater and a Cheese pie with drinks. After our payment, we seated inside and waited for our pies. There were only 4 tables of customers and not busy. After 20 minutes, no pies were insight. A few minutes later, my meat eater pie was delivered to the table. It was cold! We ask the staff we have a cheese pie on order as well. He went and check but never return to inform us. My wife finally went to cash register and complained. "Yes, we are making your cheese pie now!" What happen to our cheese pie that was place by the oven? Someone ate our cheese pie? I finished my cold meat eater pie! A few minutes later finally the cheese pie arrived. My wife ate two slices and took rest of pie home! This is a total disappointment! Obviously, we are not happy with our experience. The manager, April, is atrocious. Their refrigerator went down overnight a few weeks ago and their food temp was up to 60 degrees and she DID NOT DISPOSE OF THE FOOD. Although you can order standard pizzas, their most popular option is the $8.95 build-your-own; you choose your sauce, meats, veggies, and additional toppings, then your pizza is roasted in their fast fire oven. Unfortunately, I was disappointed with their COVID-19 precautions (some of it is out of the business' control). For example, the line is spaced out six feet apart, but that becomes difficult when you order. Everyone is almost side by side customizing their pizza, and I'm unsure of how often the glass/countertop is disinfected. Since guests seat themselves, many parties were sitting next to each other, and their masks were off to eat. Regardless, the service here is always spectacular. They have an impressive number of staff working, who are all extremely nice when taking your order. I asked for extra toppings and sauce on the side, and they fulfilled my requests without complaints. Since the crust is thin, it's best to eat the pizza fresh (before it gets soggy or falls apart from the toppings), but I opted for to-go due to the pandemic. Another pro tip, you can mix the sauces (half-classic, half-spicy), ask for basil pesto glazed on the crust of your pizza, or add leafy vegetables (arugula, basil, spinach) at the end to prevent them from drying up in the oven. read more

Really excellent pizza. Came here for the first time on 3.14 day. An 11 inch pizza for $3.14. you do need a mask to enter. You give your name and tell them what kind of pizza you want. Then you move down and pick your sauces. Then your cheese, slide down to the next section and pick your meat toppings, then the next section for the veggie toppings. They throw it in the fire for a few quick minutes and it comes out perfect. I reheated the left overs for breakfast added 2 fried eggs to it, it was amazing! Highly, Highly recommend. So good! I decided on a Greek salad and on my pizza I had traditional red sauce, green peppers, onion and oregano. The set up sort of reminds me of Subway or Chipotle where you walk down the counter and the staff puts the toppings on your pizza as you move along. I think they have enough toppings to satisfy just about everyone's pizza preferences. The food was just mediocre for me, but the service and cleanliness were top notch. About 5 minutes later she comes out and says "what's the name?" so I tell her my name and she says "oh" and the way she said it sounded like that it was gonna be a while. I didn't think 35-40 minutes waiting in the drive-through line would be a while!!!!! I thought it would only be another 10 or 15 minutes! I'm more annoyed that the cook in the back lied to me about " she's just packaging it up right now" then I had to wait for 40 minutes for my order! This place used to be good!
