There's alternative options such as gluten free and "keto" crust for an additional charge. You have the option of also doing half and half for sauces on the pizza and building your own, with unlimited toppings. If you cannot have dairy or have allergies to it, there is dairy free cheese. The staff is super friendly and consciously keep their eye on your pizza, so it doesn't overly cook. This location is at UC Irvine on the back side by Chipotle and the Amazon drop off shipping store. You enter in the left and order then pay then wait for your food either seated or take it to go. We always love the build your own pizza on original crust but they do offer preset pizzas you can order too if you dont feel like choosing all your toppings. I love how Blaze offers many fresh toppings that not all places offer like artichoke hearts and fresh basil. My other favorite thing about Blaze is how you can get Pesto drizzle and/or Balsamic Glaze drizzle over your pizza once it comes out of the wood fired oven. I also like how they offer both bottled sodas and fountain drinks as well as 2 flavors of lemonade. When I was there it was original and blood Orange for the 2 flavors. They also offer s'mores cookies for dessert which are awesome. Everyone had their masks and gloves on making our food and was super friendly and helpful. We love Blaze! My husband and I had a date night here because we were too lazy to drive far since we live near UTC. I was feeling pizza so we came to Blaze. Tbh I like it more than pieology because they have the veggies that I like on my pizza. When I go to these unlimited toppings kind of places, I go all out. I recently tried their vegan cheese, which was something I hadn't tried before but got on mine because of dietary restrictions that day. It was actually pretty good on the pizza. We both usually get the Build Your Own and pack it with meats and veggies. We're not the simple pie kind of people. One of the base sauces has pesto and garlic. They did not mention that it is spicy (not common in pesto flavored dishes), because it has chili flakes! For one of us, that essentially ruined the pizza. Why put chili in the sauce and not describe it? Without the chili, this would have been a great, tasty pizza. i have ordered from this location many times because i do love blaze pizza but let me tell you this location is by far the worst. I've walked in and gotten it delivered and am given issues everytime. when i walk in, immediately am made to feel like IM INTERRUPTING SOMETHING and like they're too busy to help me right away, or if i ask for a side of ranch they let out a big sigh and give it to me, learn some better service manners. Now when i order online, it's even worse, at least i know my order will be correct if i go in store. The Fam and I come here all the time as the staff is always friendly. They greet my wife by name already, which makes me think she may come more often than me . I've honestly had some hit or miss with the staff here, but overall, their pizzas are so good, and I love how I can just put whatever I want on them. Friday, June 12 review Ordered pizza with only veggie toppings today through the Blaze app. Pizza had chicken or some other meat completely baked inside. Terrible that they added meat for a vegetarian pizza. I ate a whole slice and then realized that it had so much meat. I felt sick all over, since I am a vegetarian and also of Hindu faith where I have chosen not to eat meat at all. I could not shake off the bad taste from my mouth for a long time. Also, found that the pie was burnt in some places. When I called the restaurant phone, it went to some lady in their office, and she said she cannot get hold of the manager at the restaurant as their line is busy. So she is not able to help at all. She asked me to contact the restaurant tomorrow. She did not even take down my name or number, and figure out how to help. Her whole attitude was like "I cannot help you at this time, and I I need you to call the restaurant tomorrow at a less busy time." She definitely needs training in customer service. I tried calling the restaurant a few times, but always got a busy tone. Overall, this is a really bad experience with Blaze. I am not ordering online through their app again, much less may not venture to go back to this "busy" Campus location in Irvine. We have had great experiences when we have visited the place in person. This was an online order and am thinking the pizza maker just missed the fact that there's no meat on the order and added a bunch of meat. Original review: If you are craving for healthy, delicious, made-to-order, fresh Vegetarian pizza, Blaze is the place in UCI area. Did I mention Fast-Fired too? Love the many combinations of sauces (my favorite is regular + spicy), the variety of cheeses, and of course, the yummy toppings! My review is of Blaze Pizza in general, not just this specific location. Blaze, and other pizza chains like it, are a somewhat new phenomenon of made-to-order "build your own" style pizza. Following the same model as Chipotle, Kava, and Subway, you go through a line where a team member on the other side of the counter leads you down and builds your food item while you select from the available options. It was pretty innovative when this started, but now there seems to be a lot of them from Pieology, to Rev, to Blaze, and I'm sure there's others coming. It fits a specific niche with individual pizzas, where everyone can have their own custom order instead of ordering pizza and having everyone agree on toppings or settling for the common denominator of plain cheese pizza. Or having too much left over for one or two people. The pizza is just good enough in my opinion. It's not as good as other pizza options, and service is hit or miss. It also really needs to be eaten there. If you're looking for delivery or carry out pizza, this type of pizza becomes almost inedible if it's not hot and fresh. It hits the spot sometimes, but that's about the best I can say. If they spent some time improving the recipes - specifically the crust to have a more traditional dough - they may have something. Otherwise, it's transactional. I'm hungry for pizza and this fits the bill. read more

I'm not sure what happened today, but I wasn't satisfied. The lady who made the pizza was very rude too. She didn't put all the ingredients that I wanted on the pizza. Burnt pizza. Blaze Fast-Burnt Pizza. I usually visit a restaurant a few times before I write a review and with good reason - the first time I came here, my pizza was amazing - the right amount of toppings, the right variety, and the thing wasn't burnt. I've since gone back a few times since this summer and this most recent visit - early Saturday morning a little after they opened - my pizza was burnt. It was disgusting and hard to eat. There was already a line forming cuz the guy in front of me was ordering ten pizzas and held everyone else up, so I didn't ask for a remake, but seriously - how do you burn a pizza? That alone seriously killed the experience for me. I had to wait until I got back home to microwave the thing, in an effort to soften up the crust. Another thing they could've done better is handle the line more efficiently. The ten-pizza order dude in front of me had one employee working his pizzas - and no one else to help the rest of the line. Rather than hold up the rest of the line, another employee should step it up and start working on our pizzas. It wasn't until 10 minutes later that someone started working on my pizza. While Blaze has several "creations" - their most popular option is their "Build Your Own". You can pick any toppings, from a large variety - different sauces and drizzles - all for $8.45 For drinks, they have a traditional soda fountain, but also several "agua frescas" options like lemonade, blood orange lemonade, cilantro limeade, among others. Seating space is ample throughout the restaurant, although there are also dining spaces available outside as well. There are occasional offers through their app - you get one flame for every pizza you purchase, and ten flames equals a free pizza - but they also send you free drink coupons here and there. Overall, given my experiences here - it's a hit or miss - one visit you get a perfect pizza, the next visit, your pizza could be burnt. On another note, I had reached out to the management at this location for a potential fundraising event, Brittany from their team reached out to me and never responded after I asked a few questions. Makes me wonder if that has anything to do with employee efficiency and the relative occurrence of the occasionally burnt pizza. I know because I got up to 10 toppings before and my pizza crust came out soggy in the middle and the toppings weren't properly cooked. It was such a disappointing meal so please learn from my mistake. This personal pizza is meant for 1 person but it can be easily shared with 2. It's like chipotle style service but with pizza ingredients instead. They make the pizza right in front of your eyes and bake within minutes. The crust is thin and crispy and it's a bang for your buck type of deal. Your pizza will turn out fine if you keep your toppings to a maximum of 5. You'll taste each ingredient and you'll get to choose from a range of 30 ingredients so the world is your oyster! If you like N.Y style pizza then you'll most likely be satisfied eating here.
