About two days ago, we decided to take a little walk to get to know the area. We stumbled upon Blaze Pizza. . K, the young server/pizza maker, was so very sweet to us. He explained how the build your own personal pizza worked. He was knowledgeable about the ingredients and the taste/texture. I informed him of my many food allergies, especially pork. As I pointed to one tray thinking it was chopped roasted peppers or at least a veggie of sorts, he stopped me by letting me know that it's pork. Having forgotten my Epipen, I would have definitely ended up in the ER. So K is a liver saver among his other great qualities. Not only did K craft a beautifully prepared pizza, but the speed of which he worked was impressive. Maybe they saw how fast K worked and decided to call the pizzeria Blaze :) We ordered two pizzas, my extreme veggie and a meat lovers. It was sooo good that both pizzas didn't make it home. We devoured it in less than one hour as we walked around. Even the garlic bread vanished like magic. It was a delight to have K as our personal blazing fast chef and server :) Thank you K!!! For a quick, individual, customized pizza, this is a good place to go. They do have 4 types of crust, multiple sauce and topping options, as well as sides a desserts. The people are friendly and efficient and offer options as you go along making for a pleasant experience. I have been a number of times and usually get the single topping build your own. It isn't my favorite sauce. There is a very raw tomato flavor to it that most people I know love but for me it is good but not great. The toppings are delicious and the crust is light and airy though, so it keeps me coming back. The dining room is large and easy to access all points including the drink machine and restrooms. My only concern is that it seems to be on the chilly side whenever I am in there so I suggest a jacket or hoodie. Otherwise it is a good, fast option for fun personal pizzas. read more

Don't order from here unless you are going in person. You have to supervise them to get something that actually resembles a pizza. I have seen signs up in the past threatening employees with discipline if they aren't following guidelines about using a scooper to add the meat, cheese, etc. I don't have an issue with stuff like that until it gets taken to this level of insanity. Guessing the owner is super cheap and tells them to skimp on stuff because people are unlikely to confront them or come back to the store. Then when you try to call and talk to someone, you get an AI bot that sends you a link to a website that doesn't work. Loser tier pizza that used to be best in class. read more

I had actually stopped going to Blaze Pizza due to poor practices. Tonight served as a reminder of why I stopped visiting Blaze Pizza a few years ago. I stopped in, ordered my pizza, watched them prepare it, had them customize it, and everything seemed fine as I paid. I sat down at my table with the people I was with, but then customers who had ordered after me began receiving their food before me. I looked around--my pizza was not in the oven, nor was it on the counter for pickup. I approached the counter, and the employee asked if I was waiting for an online order. No. I explained that my pizza had been ordered well before many others, and they were now receiving their food. The staff appeared confused, as if they were unfamiliar with my order. Given the confusion, I requested to speak with a manager. She approached and responded curtly. I explained the situation, and she asked, "What do you want--your pizza or a refund?" I needed food, as my blood sugar was dropping and my hands were already shaking, so I chose the pizza. She indicated she would prepare it herself, so I watched her make it, repeated the customizations, and she then offered a complimentary drink. While I appreciate the gesture, I am concerned when food-preparation staff display frustration toward customers for errors made by the team. I am just glad they didn't spit on it. This experience reinforced why I ceased patronizing this establishment, and it appears my decision to avoid it will continue. Additionally, by the time I received my pizza--34 minutes after my original order--my companions had already finished their meals, and were ready to leave just as I was about to begin eating. To add to the issues, I had requested balsamic vinegar and olive oil, but barbecue sauce was applied instead, and the pizza was not sliced. I had to return to the counter and request that it be sliced. In my view, this reflected subpar service. I prefer not to engage in disputes with those handling my food, but the overall handling of the situation was unacceptable. Blaze Pizza will never get my business again. read more

On my way home from work Friday night, I stopped in to grab a quick dinner. The staff pick of the month was on display, so I figured I'd give it a try. Much to my delight, Ava was the girl who had created it! She was delighted that I asked for her pizza. I trusted the artist, and it paid off big time. I've had the same exact build my own pizza here about three times. The first time, it was perfect, delicious, and service was great. The second time the service was good, but the pizza crust turned out really burnt and unenjoyable while the top of it was really wet and mushy. Hot honey drizzle was dripping out of the box, onto my pant legs, in the car on the whole way home, and on my kitchen counter. The third time not only was too soft and mushy again but the service was terrible. Unfriendly, unhelpful, and after it came out of the oven they boxed it up and called my name to grab it and looked at me like, why are you still here? I thought I would give this place another shot. I learned tonight that this was not a good decision and I won't go back. The pizza was good, the service was not. The staff were unfriendly and many questions about price they were unable to answer. Even though there were 5 people working only one was getting the dough ready. She would do 2 people and then stop until someone started to make the pizza then she would take the next persons pizza size order. Three guys stayed at the oven and they were very slow to make the pizza. One guy stayed near the oven and as pizza came out he would cut them and pass them out. So you had 3 people doing a job that only required two and occasionally one would come over and help the other guy making pizza. They had no idea what paper went with what pizza after it went in the oven. I was asked first if I paid yet, then I was asked which pizza belonged to my friend??? I don't know what my friend ordered on their pizza? Most customers were not happy and that's because the staff was not friendly. The place was clean but the ambiance was very negative and most were not happy with the service. It was very disorganized. Not sure why they were so disorganized and unhappy but the team tonight needs more training. Even though this is the closest location to me, I won't come back to this location. Ordered a large "carnivore" pizza, which is supposed to have a bunch of meat on it as depicted. It had 1 or 2 pepperoni slices per piece, 1 or 2 flecks of ham per piece, and literally 4 little bits of meatball on the entire large pizza. Spent almost $30 to eat a bunch of bbq sauce soaked bread. I've gone to this blaze pizza since I was a kid and have never had a bad pizza here. I went a few times recently and the service was amazing. The workers work fast and hard, and they're also friendly. I never have an issue with having to ask more than once for anything. The place is always clean, i've never had issues finding a clean place to sit and eat. The lemonade there is fantastic as well. The booths are also rather comfortable and I appreciate that the lighting isn't incredibly bright. Seems like an incredibly well ran place with good food. read more

i've spent well over $500 just this year at this location through pickup and delivery (yes i'm a fatty and i love pizza so what, i have receipts too) and i can honestly say after today i genuinely cannot recommend THIS location to anyone. there is just no teamwork and absolutely no initiative to get a late order out. i sat for 40 minutes past my pick up time. i asked about my order when i arrived and the lady cooking the pizza told me it wasnt even started yet, i then sat there for 30+ minutes before i got up and asked about my order only to find out it wasn't sitting on the back counter for some reason. unfortunately this isn't the first incident, just the first time i had to witness the lack of urgency in person.
