Very disappointed with my experience at Marco's Pizza on Novat Street. The pizza was extremely over-salted to the point it was barely edible. I contacted the store hoping they would make it right, but the staff simply said there was nothing they were willing to do and told me to contact Uber Eats for a refund instead of taking any responsibility. Customer service was just as bad as the food. Mistakes happen, but refusing to help or even show concern is unacceptable. I expected much better service and professionalism. I placed a pickup order for two pizzas on special--one pepperoni, one mushroom. When I got home, I found the mushroom pizza was topped with canned mushrooms, which had a wet texture that left the pizza soggy. The pepperoni pizza, unfortunately, was also bland and disappointing. I called the store to share my concerns and was told I would receive a credit for two pizzas. At the time, I appreciated the gesture even though this location had consistently let me down. However, when I called recently to use my credits, the person who answered had no record of it and only offered five dollars off my next order. My boss wanted to order pizza for the squad and knew that I was vegan. She wasn't sure if I would be able to eat anything from here. I wasn't sure either but according to VeggL, all the crusts are vegan along with the sauce. I told my boss that I can have any veggie pizza without cheese. I work in my car. During slow times, I stop at random places. Now with COVID-19, it makes having food breaks challenging. I decided I would stop for some pizza. They sell slices of pizza for their lunch special. I was 3 minutes past their lunch special time. I was forced to buy an entire pizza which was a bit upsetting. I felt the service could have been better too. The guy taking my order wasn't very friendly. I ordered my pizza and waited outside for them to make it. I waited 15 minutes, and saw people who arrived after me leaving before. Considering they took my phone number, a simple phone call would have been nice to know my food is ready. On a brighter note, the pizza was warm and tasted good. However, it was nothing outstanding. The price was fair, so that's why they get 4 Stars. I'll try Marcos again, but not this location. I order from Marco's on Novat St. because I liked the pizza and the wings. Food quality and service has been sliding over the last several months. Tonight was the last straw. Ordered on the app as usual... all good. Received the usual messages. Constucting pizza, then nine minutes later it is on the way. WTH, suddenly I receive a text that my dasher will be delivering my pizza shortly when he arrives at the store. How can it be on the way when the driver hasn't arrived to the store to pick my food. Next message says my delivery arrival time will be 35 minutes away since my delivery instructions were not available. Suddenly, it all made sense. Marco's is now using Door Dash for deliveries. Tonight Marco's had lost a customer. 1) I have never used Door Dash and will never use Door Dash. 2) The wings were mostly little pieces, smaller than half of my little finger. 3) Crust was RAW since it only cooked for nine minutes. After contacting the store they tell me to bring the remaining pizza back to the store. It seems they have this problem often. I am done never to order from here again. read more

Ordered pizza and wings. Received pizza and brownie. They offered to bring the wings out in about 10 minutes but the pizza was already just lukewarm and I indicated that we preferred to get the entire order remade since we like to eat wings WITH the pizza and didn't want to let the pizza get even more cold while waiting in the wings to arrive. The self-described shift lead was very argumentative and refused to consider my request. I asked for someone else and he put a woman on the phone who said she was what sounds like a manager. She also refused to consider my request, so I asked that they cancel and refund the entire order and come pick it up. She said she was doing the cancellation/refund but didn't want to pick up the incorrect order. So we're eating lukewarm pizza and no wings. We get this pizza delivered all the time and it is always amazing! Every time we get it, I always know that it will be a cheat meal of epic proportions, because I literally can't stop eating it! This was my first time having Marco's pizza. I very much enjoyed it! I was able to order it on my phone through Yelp, and go and pick it up. The process was very smooth and my order was ready within two minutes of me getting to the restaurant. They're taking good precautions for Covid. All of the employees were in masks. And I felt very safe. There was limited dining room space available. Only one or two tables, because it's a small space. I got a thin crust pizza, and chose my own toppings . I thought it was very good! It was crispy and delicious, as I got it right out of the oven it was hot and delicious. Marcos is a great place to get some good pie quickly if you're in the mood. This is a newer location, and it sits behind the Capriotti's which you can see from the street. You might have to look for it, but it's worth the search. I will definitely be going back to Marcos in the future, as I was very pleased with their pizza. read more

Lets state one thing for the record. Marcos is my favorite carryout pizza place in the area. The old fashioned pepperoni and crust options (thin, pan, lite) complete with Parmesan or Romano cheese (your choice) is just beyond perfect! Their curbside system is very efficient . Only once have I observed my food sitting under the lamp due to some confusion. It's easy to tell when your the car curbside and their is only one order waiting for pickup ahem. The real issue is the salad/ordering system. The ticket did not reflect all of the toppings I ordered online. Though my receipt and confirmation email did. Not for me. TlMarcis uses a stinky kind of cheese in their cheese blend on all their pizzas. It's the kind that smells like toe jam. That essence gets into the grease of the pizza and gets all over everything you touch..ok so don't touch stuff? Well I washed my hands 4 times and the smell is still there. F no. Definitely not worth it. We had grub hub or door dash deliver it. One of them. With that service the pizza came to nearly $30.00. And it arrived kinda warmish. Which is to say almost cold. If I'm paying that much for pizza I want to be able to say it's really good and I'd get it again rather than thinking well-yup it's a pizza, really unspecial pizza. And the crust was thick on some slices and thin on others. The slices were cut all wonky so some were super skinny and others were bigger. This is how I got a pizza delivered to my house I called asked for a refund after waiting 30 minutes for this garbage for a "general manager" Ethan to tell me they need the pizza back to throw it away and refund me the $20 this was. I'm suffering a miscarriage and haven't been able to cook for my 2 other children, reason why I ordered pizza. There are some tables and the place is clean. They have good amount of menu options, a bit of variety with sides, subs, salads, and desserts. We ordered the Deluxe pizza, which is their most popular and has pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms, green peppers, onions, 3 cheese and their signature sauces. We ordered it thin crust with black olives. The medium size is $14.99. It took 20 mins. The crust is fluffy and crispy but not doughy. I want to try the wings next time. The staff is friendly. Some say the prices are a bit higher than other national pizza chains but I am not sure about that. The quality of food is ok. read more
