I'm traditionally a thin crust pizza person, but I'm always open to try new crusts and new places. I had read some up and down reviews of this place, but I was game to try it. I ordered online and was surprised to see how many crust seasonings and flavors offered so that was cool. I ordered two pizzas and typically I don't load up my pizzas so it doesn't get soggy, but I was craving a higher topping count this time. When I arrived at the estimated complete time, my pizza had just come out and it was hot. It was made correctly and I was impressed with the amount of toppings they put on the pizza. I actually didn't mind the coarse chopped toppings, I definitely got my money's worth. The Hawaiian pizza had the traditional ham and pineapple with a bacon twist. All in all - solid pizza and I enjoyed it. One note is that on a reheat, their crust lends itself well in an air fryer! I was able to reheat and enjoy the leftovers the next day. read more

Last few visits have been great, the family loves the pizzas and we usually add a salad. We will not pay for delivery again, we will do pickup only. Sometime near the end of 2025 we ordered pizza for delivery added a tip, when the pizza came the person would not leave it on the table at the door (we have two big dogs and don't want to open the door). So, my wife went out the garage to see what the lady wanted. she wanted a tip, my wife said she added the tip on the order, she said she did not see any tip on her app and was not leaving, so my wife went inside found a couple of dollars and gave it to her and closed the door. once inside the top of the box looked like someone sat ice cream on the box. my wife called the store to complain and come to find out the delivery was outsourced to uber eats or door dash because their driver was so busy, this is something people she be told when ordering. If I could give this shop zero stars, I would. I always order my pies from this shop and have never had an issue until today. I ordered a pizza for delivery, waited an hour for the app to update to complete, went to check my front door, and never received my pizza. I called the store to request a refund seeing as I never got my food and the delivery driver was literally in the background arguing, stating that i "have a grey jeep." I drive a red Hyundai... The delivery driver repeatedly alleged that he dropped it off to the house with the "grey jeep." I don't own a grey jeep nor does anyone in my household. It quickly became evident that I did not receive my order but the "store manager" refused to grant me a refund and instead opted to try to issue me a credit. Funnily enough, I never got the "credit" they kept pushing on me and I had to dispute the charge. I now don't have money to replace the food I waited an hour for nor do I have the food. Instead of your delivery driver being argumentative about their mistake, perhaps they should try reading or listening to Apple Maps. I'm not sure how you mess up a simple delivery like this and then attempt to gaslight customers when they point out the mistake and are asking for simple fixes. I quite literally will never order another pizza from them and neither will my household. Waste of my time and terrible customer recovery. read more

I have to admit I have found a new favorite take out / delivery Pizza place in Hungry Howie's! Until recently I didn't even know of this chain, and after being constantly disappointed with orders from other chains, I decided to give HH a try and I've not looked back. Their original crust is amazing, lovely and crispy with a satisfying crunch, not too greasy and has an awesome flavor. They actually have multiple flavor's you can select for crust, though I just go with the regular, it really is good. All the ingredients always seem super fresh too, I've particularly noticed their vegetable toppings are always super flavorful. My favorite pizza here is The Works, it blows away similar offerings from other places I've tried over the years, but honestly every pizza I have had from here has been good. The store is simple, light, and clean and has lots of parking due to it's proximity to Lowe's. It's also easy to get to right from Hwy 95 being located by the Durango / El Capitan (Farm) intersection. I've never had an issue with an order from here (pick up or delivery), and the service has been generally friendly and helpful. If you're wanting Pizza and want to try a new chain, I highly recommend, maybe it will become a favorite of yours too? read more

On Saturday, my son had a friend over at the house and his friend had requested pizza from Hungry Howie's. I've never ordered Pizza from here before, so I decided to try it out. I ordered for pickup online. 2 different pizzas, the classic cheese and pepperoni [LARGE] and cheese pizza [MEDIUM]. It was relatively expensive compared to other chain pizzas, totally roughly $22.00. The location is off of the 95/Durango, located in a large plaza next to Lowes and a few other businesses. The pickup order took roughly 30 minutes to complete. When the pizza was picked up and brought back to the house, the kids rushed down to eat the pizza. Both kids tried out the pepperoni and cheese slices. I also tried the pizza. Really disappointed in the quality of food. The children complained that the dough tasted like cardboard and that the pizza was too oily. Neither of them ate another slice after their first try. If you're in a jam, I guess you could go here? Went tonight and they forgot to include my garlic dipping sauce . No problem until it was. I drove back and told them they forgot it the " manager " Jackson said he'd give me the sauce but not refund me and hastily threw my receipt in the garbage. I asked if he could remove them from the bill and he said no and does not know of his supervisor number that could possibly help. I just recently as of today just had the worst pizza experience I have ever had in my life. I started off by ordering me and my roommate and my wife a pizza who is currently allergic to pork. After getting home with my pizza from a 10 minute drive and realizing the pizza was incorrect, my wife proceeded to call the hungry Howies. We were advised there was nothing they could do to fix this order as a customer who have been a customer for many years and very flabbergasted by the outcome that they have given me, they haven't even given me the option to try to at least fix my pizza because my wife does not eat pork not to mention the website did not include that bacon was on the pizza and bacon was still thrown on I am very disgusted with the outcome of this and very sad with this results from my very favorite pizza place. This was our first time trying this establishment, and we wanted something different. Unfortunately, we were quite disappointed. After tax and delivery, our order of a medium, large, and individual size cost us $58, but the pizza arrived with a cardboard-like texture. We went with the two med 12" pizza with a Howie bread (garlic cheese bread) for $15. What I enjoyed most about the pizza was the crust. I like the flavor and texture cornmeal can provide on a decent crust. The crust had a nice crunch to it and was sturdy enough to hold the toppings without sagging. The sauce was a pretty standard prepackaged just add water pizza chain sauce with a sweet tangy tomato taste. Cheese and topping distribution was also to be expected from a national pizza chain. Everything is either weighed or counted to create a consistent pie weather your in Nevada or in Florida. What sets this chain apart from Domino's or Pizza Hut was the complimentary crust toppers. This really adds flavor and complexity to a part of the pizza some do not enjoy. We had the Asiago which had a great taste as well as the buttery herb which was finger licking good. They definitely have potential! My husband and I got a cheese pizza with bacon and ranch crust. We also got cheese with tomato and garlic butter stuffed crust. The bacon pizza was very good! They put more bacon on it than the pizza place we normally go to. We put extra ranch on the crust, but I think next time we will do regular. It was a little too salty for me, but absolutely delicious! The tomato pizza was good, but the Pizza was floppy and the crust wasn't very crunchy. Like it was soggy, but not quite wet. We got regular garlic butter seasoning, but I couldn't taste it at all. Although my husband thought I was crazy because he swears it was there.
