First and last time coming to this blaze. I ordered two speciality pizzas, both made wrong due to the paper they filled out. They wouldn't put different names on the paper, so then both pizzas were made wrong. Both pizzas got cooked well done, when only one ordered well done. My pizza was a white top, but pesto got added to it because they placed it on the green sauce paper. And no pesto on the green stripe pizza because the paper said white top. I was also asked to pay for my meal twice. I had to throw away my burnt pizza with the added pesto because it was made wrong. I am disappointed because other blazes I have been at have been amazing. Came by here on a weeknight wanting a quick dinner to go. For 8 bucks I got a quick, decent pizza. I went with the original dough (thin) two-topping pizza and chose gorgonzola cheese and mushrooms. The guy making the pizza was really nice and was very careful when assembling my pizza - distributing the toppings evenly. The big plus is how fast it cooks, which is great when you're in a hurry. No, but it is my favorite lunchtime pizza ever because it's FAST and delicious. I built a pizza with their spicy red sauce, mozzarella and goat cheese, meatballs, fresh basil, and cherry tomatoes. It was delicious and actually pretty cheap! For a pizza and drink I only spent $8. My only advice would be to avoid the main lunch rush and maybe go closer to 11am or 1pm. We stopped by here one night for dinner. First, let me say the decor is really fun and cute. The food was tasty. It's basically the Subway/Chipolte/Piada of the pizza world. They let you pick all the toppings you want for one price which is pretty cool. I ordered the white top (white cream sauce with mozzarella, applewood bacon, chopped garlic, oregano and arugula) and added sausage. They "fast fire" the pizza for 180 seconds in a Mega-hot oven. They offer vegan and gluten free options which you would be hard pressed to find anywhere else. Now for the big but...BUT their layout is freaking terrible. The line to the counter cuts right down the middle of the restaurant so you are basically standing in the way, no matter where you stand. The 10 minutes it took us to get to the counter was filled with "Excuse Me", "I'm sorry", and feeling terrible about being on top of everyone. That was miserable. A cute place but we decided to grab it To-Go because of the crowd and miserable dining experience. Absolutely terrible service!!!! Very inefficient. Workers moving slowly, talking to each other instead of waiting on customers. Dropped a pizza on the floor that was a to go order and no one bothered to remake it. Just threw it away and moved on. My pizza was sitting out getting cold for 10 min. before they cut it. My boyfriends pizza was burnt and he had to ask them to remake it after we had already waited 45 min. Plain and simple, this place is delicious. This is about the most accurate conversion of Chipotle into another genre of food that I've ever seen. I can't wait for this place to expand into Kentucky. $7.25 for a pizza, unlimited any topping. I have been wanting to try Blaze forever since my friends are always raving about how good it is. It is especially tempting since I work a little up the street from it and always pass it! I finally decided to come in after work one day and give it a shot. I am so glad I did! When first ordering your pizza, the first person asks you for your name. Everybody that helps you afterwards calls you by your name and I love it--feels so personal! Additionally, I was asked if I had every been here before. When I said no, they did such a good job walking me through everything. I loved that even though they were packed, everyone helped me with my pizza thoroughly and without rushing me, but was still able to get me out the door within ten minutes (including time spent waiting in line!) For $7, you get a pizza to yourself with all the toppings and sauces you want. Such a good deal! And it's delicious too. My only other experience with a pizza place like this is Pieology, which I am also a huge fan of. However, I think for whatever reason I like Blaze more (maybe the great customer service?) We stopped at Blaze over late last summer and I was not impressed. I found them to be really pricey compared to their competitor Rapid Fire pizza. I also found the pizza to just not be as good. This is based on my online delivery experience. Planned Postmates vegan delivery days ahead of time. When I checked Postmates 15 minutes before the party I was going to was to start, saw my order was cancelled. No notification. Went to Blaze website to order. No delivery available. So I order for pick-up. Cannot fulfill order. Every time I submit, it says, "Unable to process your order. Too many people ordering online right now. Try again later."" I drive there (20 minutes) and on the way I call the restaurant to order over the phone so that I don't have to wait. They don't pick up. I somehow download Blaze app and put in the order again while driving. It FINALLY comes through. Said it will be ready in 15 minutes. I arrive 10 minutes later and they haven't even started on my order yet. I wait another 10 minutes or so and finally grab my pizza. Love us some Blaze - especially this location BUT......the last 4x it has been a mess. Tables dirty & sticky, food on floor, no lids or straws, overflowing trash. The staff are awesome & working their tails off but there is obviously a staffing issue as the entire dining area - both inside & outside -hasn't been touched. My arms kept sticking to the table last night & the chairs were filthy - had to get napkins & water to clean them. Please increase staffing to have a dining room person. While the pizza comes out fast and fresh, that doesn't stop the line from beginning to wrap around. It took us about 20 minutes to get through the line. I came to Blaze with my family for their grand opening... Waited in line for over an hour (they were giving away free pizzas that day) but it was actually worth the wait! This is a restaurant chain from California that's been opening new locations all across the country. I'm so glad mason is one of them! It's a chipotle-style concept, where you can either choose a pizza off the menu or choose your own ingredients, and they make it there right in front of you (for less than $7 per person!) There were a lot of people working that day, but one guy asked my name at the beginning and everyone after him greeted me by my first name which I thought really made the experience nice and personal. The ingredients are super fresh and high quality, and there are a TON of options to choose from, including a variety of sauces. The pizzas only take a couple minutes to cook and then you're in heaven! My mom and my sisters all ordered different pizzas from the menu, and all of them were fantastic. My favorite was the meat eater - sooo delicious. Even though it's an individual size pizza and the crust is pretty thin, I still took home a couple pieces! The pizza was ordered through th Blaze app- this is not the first order we've placed through the app, we've ordered pizzas before that were picked up. Once we got the pizza, my husband noticed that the Print-out order was incorrect, it was missing items. When we opened the pizza we saw that some items were missing and were substituted for other items. When I came up to the personnel and showed them the pizza they said that the order didn't go through the app correctly and was clearly wrong. Also they said that they just make what come on the Print-out and felt like they deliver the correct order. I can argue that the order wasn't even done correctly from the Print-out as for one of the items it said- roasted- and they placed roasted red pepper on the pizza while we ordered roasted garlic. To remedy the situation they gave us raw pepperoni and banana peppers which were part of the correct order. I'm not happy with this experience, I understand that technology might not work but the service wasn't good. I am a frequent customer of Dewey's pizza and they service is impeccable, as the customer comes first and they would always try to make it right. The personnel saw the order that was placed on my app and didn't offer to redo the pizza and even while giving the raw ingredients to throw them on the pizza and cook them. I stopped in Blaze for lunch after church services on Sunday. They were slammed. I actually went shopping and came back in fifteen minutes and they have most everyone in the store served and or fed. We strolled right up to the counter and I didn't notice any side effects of the rush that had just hit them. We had a picky seven year old with us and I had never been there before. They were so patient with us and very accommodating. I certainly felt as if we were the first costumers of the day.
