Minimum wage is not enough and by the way this place runs it's obvious the employees would agree. Walked into a restaurant on Christmas with nothing else open I was surprised it was open and to find it filled with people. It was a couple minutes before 9pm, I was greeted with a finger pointing to the door and was told they were closed. So much for Christmas spirit and good will towards man or whatever. read more

I called ahead and asked that the pizza be well done. It came doughy and under under done. Terrible. I spoke with the assistant manager. I know Marco was good with my order before. I like the cookies done fresh and very soft! I asked the assistant manager today and he said "yeah yeah I will. Well you did not Sir. Lol. It was horrible. I don't understand what is the problem with this place. I guess they take vegetarian orders for granted. Never do they make my order right. After a long period of time I tried their half pizza two weeks back and somehow I got lucky. The person who made it did a great job. I tried ordering it again last week and it was a disaster (spicy red was not spicy red sauce and they over did it so it ade my pizza sweet). Today I thought I will change the sauce so there is no way my order will be messed in any way but hats off to the employees. They always find a way. There was no ricotta on an only ricotta feta cheese pizza. There were no red onions. The employee made the pizza with whatever items they had or may be they think I am a vegetarian so I will eat anything they will make. I literally ate bread feta cheese and a little bit of veggies. I mean if you don't have ricotta or anything that is unavoidable try notifying the person who ordered. Don't try to take advantage of Covid 19 situations. I personally think this place is over hyped and people who work there just think throwing stuff together makes a pizza. They don't understand people's priorities and taste buds. It's most of the time a bad experience for me. My husband who is a non vegetarian for some reason love this place so much,I always try to give them a chance and they have disappointed me most of the time. Good pizza and service. The amount of options available to build your own pizza was wonderful, Brandon helped us out and it was a pleasure.

I'd like to commend the staff that was working at around 5-6pm on 8/3, the date of my visit. Each one of them in line were nice and would ask what I wanted in each section of the assembly line. I've visited another location and the assembly worker sucked. I would rather have the register staff suck than the person who's assembling my pizza. I emailed the managers of this store after I had an awful experience, and they never responded to my email. The line was disgusting and in the 20 minutes I was in the store, they never once wiped down the counter. One of the employees was picking mushrooms out of the spinach container, the spinach was wilted and slimy looking. My gluten free crust came out with holes in the bottom and they had no vegan cheese available. They barely put any toppings on my pizza and the employee was disgusted that I didn't want regular cheese even though I said I had an allergy to cheese. It was disrespectful and dirty. read more

Unfortunately the service at this location has really gone down from how it used to be. The quick and alert workers that used to work here appear to be all gone and as a result the quick made pizza stop is no longer. I believe part of delay is now the number of call in / Door dash service orders. Which leaves the walk in patrons waiting longer. This in addition to the change in staff has resulted in a long annoying wait. It was a 10 minute wait to get to build our pizzas. Then the now slower process of building the pizzas, then after building our pizzas it took another 8-10 minutes before someone came to the register to ring us up. Our pizzas unfortunately hadn't made it to the over yet- so that took another 8-10 minutes. The pizza itself was good it just the process that has gotten much longer and annoying, which will likely result in us going elsewhere in the future. read more

Oh my goodness! I've been coming here at least once a week for about a few years now & everything is always amazing. All of the employees are super nice and willing to go the extra mile to make sure the pizzas I order are perfect. Tonight I came in at 10:30 pm to satisfy a late night pizza craving & the manager, Fanny, was so friendly even though they seemed to be understaffed. Having recently discovered Pieology I thought I would give Blaze a try. Glad I did. They are much better. Both are build your own style where you pick your toppings. Pieology is unlimited toppings and Blaze is not. You pick simple (no toppings), one topping or two. All different price points. I'm thinking this is advantage Pieology but thought I really don't need more than 2 anyway. I got pepperoni and mushroom with the spicy red sauce and mozzarella cheese. At Pieology the toppings are scarce. I can see that since it unlimited but even the sauce and cheese are chincy. I have to ask for double of everything. Then when you take a bite you take most of the cheese off your slice. Blaze didn't have any of the issues I have with Pieology. Toppings are generous and ratio of sauce to cheese is really good. The spicy red added a nice kick to it and didn't need hot peppers. The crust was crispy and tasted better. Overall I don't think the two are close. Blaze has better quality and taste. I would recommend and return. read more

This is a good place to get build-it-yourself pizza. I haven't come here in a while and I forgot how good this place is. Definitely an underrated establishment. I might be coming back more frequently now that they have implemented the take two option on their menu. I always thought that eating an entire pizza was too much for just one person so now you have the option to get half a pizza and half a salad for under $12. Also, you can pile on the pizza with whatever and however much you want. The line gets pretty long around dinnertime because it is a popular place. But overall, it is a pretty great value for the price and it never fails to satisfy my hunger. read more

The keto crust is hit or miss - mostly miss. I always have their pizza delivered but I won't be ordering from them again. I'll just have to make my own keto crust I suppose because Blaze is the only place around that offers it. When they don't burn it, it's pretty good but I've ordered it about 5 times now and it was burnt four of the five times. The rest of my family gets the regular crust and they like it. Theirs is never burnt. So just stay away if you're doing keto unless you eat in and can have them remake it in the moment if necessary. read more

My boyfriend and I ordered a late night meal on Door Dash and we were very pleased. His pizza was loaded with toppings and still had a crispy bottom. We both got the 11" create your own; mine had the white sauce bottom mozzarella, feta cheese, bacon, chicken, Italian sausage, banana peppers, spinach, and artichoke with a pesto drizzle. . My pizza was crispy and delicious, their crust is so yum! They offer ranch dressing on the side for free (love!) For delivered food, it sure tasted like we ate in. . It was his first time trying and he fell in love, I haven't had pizza from here in over a year or so, so this was a very nice treat for us. . Might have to start revisiting here a lot more often. read more

Oh Blaze, it pains me to write this review... This place is getting three stars because twice in a row I've been disappointed with the service. I used to love this place but the last time I came the girl making our pizza was having a convo with the cashier the whole time. She got annoyed when i asked to please spread the jalapeños out- sorry i don't want to bite into a pile of them... Ugh. Most recently, ordered my pizzas online around 8:13, it said they'd be ready by 8:30. Got there a little after... not ready yet. 10 minutes later, still nothing. Finally they were ready around 8:45. Would be an awesome feature if the ready time was accurate. I always see people waiting around for their pick up orders. Lines are crazy long during lunch and dinner but they move pretty quickly. Build your owns are the BEST option- the pizza is great, service is hit or miss. Parking is a plenty- it's located in the giant - yet somehow always full- Vons on the corner of Huntington & Myrtle. It's so hit or miss. I keep coming back because it close to home but please get it together, Blaze! Pieology is not much further and has way better service... just sayin'. read more

I really like coming to this place it's very clean and the staff is very friendly and nice. The pizzas always come out perfect and I enjoy the varieties of salads that they have. They have also a nice variety of drinks different lemonades and different waters they also do have fountain sodas. I think the prices might be a little steep but the quality is good this is one of my favorite pizza places to go to I do travel sometimes just to come to this location I highly recommend it. read more

I love to custom my own pizza, so I came here to build my own. The variety of goodies are endless. I like that you can put half and half on your pizza. I asked for Spicy red Sauce and Garlic Pesto Sauce (they are so cheap in applying it on my pizza). I asked for mozzarella with artichokes, mushrooms, olives, spinach, pepperoni and chicken on my thin crust pizza. The pizza came out quickly as I didn't have much on it. The price is reasonable and concept is great. I know my pizza would taste better if I had more topping/sauce was on it. Oh well, It guess I am going back to Pieology read more

I never leave reviews for anything but I will make an exception for this. I placed an order online and went to pick up my order of 2 pizzas. 15 minutes after the pickup time listed my first pizza came out. I asked when the other one would be ready and they said soon. Over the course of the next 45 minutes I asked multiple times for the status of my second pizza and they repeatedly said it wasn't ready. After an hour past the pickup time I was very frustrated and confronted the staff asking for my second pizza at which point they said they had to remake it because they didn't know where it was. I could have forgiven if even after half an hour they told me they would remake it. But they only did something after an hour of asking and watching people come, order, eat there pizza and leave while I sat there. Ridiculous. read more

Ordered a cheesy bread with vegan cheese, red sauce, olive oil drizzle, and oregano, and a large pizza with the classic dough, red sauce, vegan cheese, cherry tomatoes, red onions, green bell peppers, mushrooms, black olives, fresh garlic, spinach, olive oil drizzle, balsamic glaze, and arugula. I give props to the guy on the oven, Guillermo. I went in on Friday and it was really busy in the restaurant. He looked really busy with so many pizzas and he was still able to remain professional and was very kind.I can't imagine how many pizzas he cooks a day.
