I love Blaze pizza, and this location is great. The staff greets us, makes my pizza without judgement (I get a lot of toppings), and is quick and efficient. Sure they don't always smile but they're busy, I get it. When I sit down, sometimes a worker will come to each table and check up on everyone to make sure everything is okay and ask if we need anything else. For a fast food type of establishment, I find the service here to be stellar! read more

If I could give this place 0 stars I would! They have gotten multiple orders wrong almost weekly. My family orders pizzas here pretty much every weekend and they almost always forget several toppings on our build our own. They literally gave us a bbq chicken pizza once with only sauce and cheese lol I don't know who's making these pizzas but it's shocking how consistent their mistakes are. Unfortunately we will no longer be giving our business to this branch anymore. I'd advise to check your pizzas before leaving every time you order because you're almost guaranteed a mistake if you order online for pick up. read more

I love Blaze!! When ever I'm craving pizza this is the place I go to!! I love being able to create and choose and especially see what's going on my pizza. Just don't go at closing time because they are not stocked up on anything, we practically had to go digging for Parmesan cheese, I would imagine they would have everything filled up that way it will be ready for the next day or at least have a person stocking up during the day. Plus they only had two people in the front. One prepping the food and the other cooking, the other employees are in the back doing who knows what when the closing rush comes in. read more

Nice place to eat quickly before a movie at the Studio Movie Grill. Customer service has always been really nice here and my pizza's always made consistently. The toppings always look replenished and displayed in a clean manner. I always enjoy my pizza here and love how I can choose my own toppings and add as much as I want. I heard that this location can be hit or miss with whoever makes your pizza, but so far it's been pretty consistent for me and hopefully stays that way! read more

These folks were working like CRAZY pushing out orders on Friday night dinner service!!! Keeping everything straight, fixing mistakes when they make em, and really just keeping customers taken care of! The GM was working hard getting pizzas in boxes and out to waiting hands of customers in their cars, in the restaurant, and still keeping the flow of people from going over the max 10 guests... hats off to all you! I've been waiting for this place to open up and it didn't disappoint! Ample seating inside and out, and the interior flows to a spacious dining area. The staff here are amazing - Friendly, patient, and full of energy! The food is excellent - I love the concept and always make my own pizza just the way I like it!! I love how you can put endless toppings for the same price. Super fresh ingredients. The only comment I have is you have to speak very loudly or practically yell for which toppings you want. A lot like Pieology except the ingredient is much better. Not too salty. Doesn't make you want to gulp down a gallon of water afterwards. I love the oregano they offer, puts a kick in my pizza. The place is on the noisy side so the employee there have a hard time hearing the ingredients I want. Very fast service, but I forgot to time how long it took to have my pizza ready. 1st trip to Blaze - miserably skimpy on toppings. You could barely see the meat on the Meateaters pizza. At the cash register I ordered a fountain drink - the cashier said they didn't have any so I had to purchase a bottle of soda. I looked around and just about everyone had a fountain drink. I ordered 2 pizzas - one was done and I was called but had to wait much longer for the 2nd pizza - harder on me. 2nd trip to Blaze - again way too skimpy on toppings. The girl building the pizza was extremely rude - they sauce container was almost empty but she was scraping it for dear life - hardly any sauce ended up on my pizza. I told her it wasn't enough and she just said huh - and ignored me. The cook was on a personal call for the entire 15 minutes I was in there. Again. you can never get the order at one time. This is located in a giant shopping plaza so parking is easy. Nice ambiance and a layup spot for a quick date. My family and I came in on a Saturday evening around 7:30. The line was all the way to the door, but was expected since it was the weekend. The line doesn't move very fast. They take a bit longer than other pizza places I've been too. (Pieology & flamzz). You get to the first person and they ask what kind of pizza you want. I had noticed the girl doing the sauce and cheese was being pretty skimpy so I asked for extra cheese ahead of time. I love my cheesy pizza. But they weren't just skimpy on sauce and cheese, they were skimpy on pretty much everything. But the good thing you can ask them for more and they gladly add more. All the employees are very nice and more than happy to make your pizza the way you want it. The pizza itself was very good. In my opinion, much better than pieology. It has a nice crust and it's cooked just perfect. The blood orange lemonade was tasty! It has a tangy taste to it, but still sweet so it's perfect. The restaurant was very clean, they had someone in the dining room cleaning at all times. The tables were neat, drink station was clean, and the floors were almost spotless. The reason for it not being 5 stars is because of how loud it is in there, can get pretty overwhelming. And the fact that you have to ask for extra everything if you don't want your pizza to look sad. read more

Worst service!! Staff are not friendly and rude . They had my pizza on a side table for more than 30mins . I kept telling them my name as other customers ahead of me and after me kept getting their orders. Staff just ignored me and kept barking other customer's orders . By the time someone found my pizza I was beyond angry and not even an apology. My Pizza was cold , soggy and tasteless by the time I got home. I will never purchase a pizza at blaze ever again . All of a sudden it's have papers as well and tons of garlic add in to it . Horrible customer service and burnt pizza! I hate to give a business a bad review, but I will never visit this store again or recommend it to anyone who is hungry. One time, I waited almost an hour for my pizza, so the manager emailed me an offer for a free pizza on my next visit- no expiration date. Well, next visit came, and they did not honor his email. Said that was the manager's name, but he would no longer honor it. The girl who spoke with me had nasty, long, fake eyelashes- unhygienic to the core. I like Blaze's product and price point but this one star is for the fact that twice now I have placed online orders through postmates for pick up. These orders apparently don't go through their system although postmates shows that I've paid and the order is being prepared. Bad customer service for the company to be on postmates when it's a waste of time and money. Also, they practically refused to make my pizzas saying they were too busy. Blaze is one of my favorite pizza places because of all the options, and I've only had positive experiences with their staff! Even though I came right before close, no one made me feel as though I was coming in too late (which I so appreciated since I just got off a rough shift at the hospital). This place was doing better until now. We asked for the gluten free crust because my daughter has Celiac disease and gets very sick. The person making the dough took the same gloves she was wearing when making the regular dough and grabbed the GF dough. I said she cannot use that dough because it is now contaminated. She rolled her eyes and reluctantly threw it away and put on new gloves. As we moved down the line my daughter explained she cannot have the toppings because they are also contaminated. We don't normally have an issue at other Blaze Pizza places. The pizza builder did go to the back each time to get the non contaminated stuff. At that moment Pricilla asked the employee why do you keep going back there in a very stern tone. My daughter was embarrassed and said it's not by choice I will get very sick. Pricilla gave her this horrible look and turned away to get pizzas out of the oven. We overheard the staff saying that Pricilla was not a good manager and that she was rude. Clearly that was the case. We will be back but ugh I get tired of the attitude. read more

Great Pizza, Not so great customer service! I've been coming here pretty much since it opened. The pizza is always excellent, I love building my own. Ok that's the only good part of this location, now onto the service... So I made a phone order this time. Usually we go in and just make an order but friday is very busy in this place. I was greeted by what sounded like a very young millennial female on the phone. Literally each and every single question I asked, was greeted with the typical condescending 'I am going to talk like you should already know the answer, because I'm smart and you're dumb' type attitude. Can you imagine Ellen Page taking your pizza order? It would have been like that lol. EVERY SINGLE answer there was a long pause, and the question was answered with "well... you know you could like... also just order on the website... riiiiiiight?" Each response was given like a question. I didn't order online, because the regular website for Blaze doesn't actually allow for ordering, there is a totally different website (and no link on the regular website to order.) I didn't find this out until after I ordered, and the girl who seemingly knew it all on the phone couldn't tell me this. I then went on to ask her about the pizza size (she asked me which one I wanted), because since the last time I was here I didn't realize that they added another size (they usually just have a size that can feed 1 person for maybe 1-2 meals.) So when I asked about the pizza size, guess what? More long condescending responses lol!! "Well one is 11 inches... and the other" and this point I had enough of this attitude and cut her off. I just said "Look, you guys usually just have one size, all I was asking is if the other one was for a family size." Since I was ordering for my whole family. I don't work at Blaze, nor do I go there very often so forgive me for not memorizing the exact inch sizes for the pizza restaurant that YOU work for on a daily basis. By the time the convo was almost done, I got to thinking: imagine if this employee actually just took the order and didn't try to shoe me off the phone, the order would have been finished much faster. It was clear she didn't like being on the phone, so the best thing to do is to just listen to what the customer is asking for, and DELIVER IT. I would have given a 3 since the pizza is super tasty, but this isn't the only time I've dealt with unprofessional employees here. Every time I've had an issue like this, it was a younger person (teen-early mid 20s at the oldest.) One guy literally stares me down every time I go in like he wants to fight me. Not exactly a welcoming environment lol. I'm going to the Azusa location from now on. *UPDATE - forgot to mention, they got 3 out of 4 orders almost completely wrong when we got our pizzas. read more

Diet Pizza? When you think about all of the reconstituted, heavily salted glop that chain pizza stores charge far too much for, Blaze Pizza sounds like a great deal. When you understand that you can have an entire pizza - replete with chicken, veggies, and cheese - and when coupled with a Diet Coke are only eating 700 calories, Blaze Pizza gets even more compelling. And when you factor in the really good taste, Blaze Pizza is an all-time winner. Order the White Top, which starts at 660 calories. Add chicken, peppers, onions, extra garlic, and jalapeños and you have something approaching health conscious. Take note that you are eating for only around $10 even with a drink - you're budget conscious as well. I have lost 35lbs so far on my "Blaze Pizza" diet: Veggie omelette for breakfast, granola bar, an orange, and nuts for lunch, and Blaze for dinner. :) This particular Blaze features upbeat, friendly staff and a tattooed and gregarious management. It all works and they handle crowds and picky patrons with aplomb. I should point out that whatever iced tea they use is simply fantastic, with a refreshing flavor that requires no added sweetener, or even lemon. Bravo, Blaze. read more
