I love blaze itself and the employees are all really sweet but my first time going and first time someones had a nasty attitude. I ordered 2 pizzas and apparently my name wasn't spelled right so How was I supposed to know. I asked the guy At the oven if my pizzas were ready and he told me he had been calling my name and I didn't come so he put them on the top of the oven. I told him it was fine not a problem again I go to order a s'mores and he asked if I wanted it to be put in the oven I told him yes please it was about 7 minutes after that it got super crowded and I had been waiting longer then expected once again I was standing there and he couldn't even acknowledge me there. Curbside pickup sucks! Only one spot. When you call to let them know you're there for pickup no one answers. Repeatedly!!! Pretty inconvenient when you've got little kids with you and can't easily get out of car and wait in line to be let in. And can't get your money back because you paid online. Ordered a pizza online for my son. I wasn't too far from this location so I understood when I got there I would have to wait. The approximate wait time was 15 to 20 minutes. When I arrived, I parked right in front of the restaurant. I called them to let them know I was there, but after two or three tries I gave up because no one answered. A girl called me back and I told her I was there to pick up my curbside order. She asked for my name and what type of car and said it would be out shortly. Then about 5 to 10 minutes later she called me and said she was sorry but that the pizza had just gone in the oven and it would be about five more minutes. I said no problem. Eventually it was almost a half hour so I called them again and told them I was still waiting. The same girl who had called me answered the phone and sounded clueless. I told her my name and then she asked me what type of car I was driving. I told her again that it was a white Volt and I was in front. Two or three times she asked me if I was in a Volvo, each time I said no, a Volt. Shortly after that a male worker walked out with a pizza one car over from me as though he was headed out to the Vons parking lot. He looked lost and eventually turned around and came towards my car. Turned out it was my pizza, but by then it was practically cold, and when I got home with it we noticed that it was over cooked/burned. Needless to say, I am not happy with this location and the service at all. If I had time and if my son wasn't so hungry, I would have asked them to make me a new one. read more

This location sucks ASS, and that's probably still being nice. We came here to eat after a long day around 6:30pm, and 3 out of 3 things on the menu were out and unavailable. However, they close at 10pm? How do you "run out" of menu items with almost 4 hours left of the day? Nothing was noted as "sold out" yet was continuing to show as available on the menu and it wasn't until we were ordering that they tell us "oh we're out". I then ask my point of "you have nearly 4 hours left of your day and you're out?" that someone goes and asks a manager and says they can make more but it'll take 20 minutes. I called 30 min later to follow and he said we don't deliver. I said why you didn't tell me first. I can't come and pick up. He said yea mam we don't deliver you need to come and pick it up. I asked to get my money back and he said I can't do that right now either. So, i don't why he introduced himself as an assistant manager there but he can't make customer happy. Today was the grand opening for Blaze Pizza in Monrovia, CA. It is my first experience with such a pizza place, where you can build your own pizza with unlimited toppings, you can even ask for gluten-free dough. It has the same idea of "subway sandwiches" but for pizza, you goose your sauce and move on to choose your cheese and meat and all kind of vegetables. Another 180 seconds in the oven and your pizza is ready! Very modern place, great for young people and families. Kids will have a great time building their own pizzas without worrying about a thing! And they have an amazing red lemonade! Another cool feature is that you can log in online and build your pizza online and then come to the store and pick it up in less than 15 minutes! Great to make your order while you are on your way to the store and just walk in and grab your pizza! Epic! read more

Yesterday afternoon I went to buy a pizza. The attention at the beginning was good, the girls looked tired but they were making the effort . When I had to pay, the cashier, who was a tall young guy, looked very tired and desperate. he began to raise his cap and scratch his head. I did not cancel my order for 2 reasons, first because I had already paid and second because I was sorry to do so. This is the 3rd time I've tried to grab a pizza and it has taken me literally no less than 35 minutes to get service and as long as 45 before I actually walked out! There's no organization to service at this location and all the people that work there are incompetent. No idea who the manager would be that I can complain to...they all act like they hate their job and don't know what to do! It's sooo close to where I live; I really wish it was better! I ordered 2 pizzas online veggie and no meat only vegan cheese and chorizo, I purchased in Monrovia and headed home to Baldwin park, the pizza looked fine since veggies is what is most of my pizza not knowing underneath were chunks of chicken!!!
