I love that this Blaze opened up here because it is closer to me than the Pasadena one. And the parking situation is so much better here since it is located in a large plaza! And the best thing is that this location used to mail out coupons to local residents when they first opened. Thanks to those coupons I have been here several times and it has been a good experience each time. They have a good amount of seating inside, although I usually take the pizza to-go since I live nearby. Like all Blaze locations, you can customise your pizza with as many toppings as you like. I tend to make my pizzas saucy, which never goes well with the gluten-free crust that I order. The GF crust is really thin, so my pizza falls apart really easily and has to be eaten with a fork/knife. Also, the GF crusts are always burned on the edges, but that happens at other similar pizza companies so I guess that's just a problem everyone has with GF crusts... Also, don't forget to add arugula and pesto sauce at the very end when they are packaging your pizza! I did not know you could do that the first couple of times I came here. The staff here are really great, I have always had great service from them. I was especially appreciative of them the last time I used a BOGO coupon because they discounted my GF crust pizza instead of the regular crust pizza. I forgot what workaround he used to make that happen, but I was very appreciative of that gesture and I will continue to visit this location because of it (and the other reasons I mentioned earlier). read more

Don't believe the Hype! Stopped in for a pizza with artisanal ingredients -what a disappointment. Let me start by saying the employees are AMAZINGLY friendly, helpful and elevate the mood - hence the 2 stars. But the pizza, seriously? You cant call this pizza - its below frozen pizza standards. The crust sure its got a twinge of crispiness but its gummy and tough to bite thru, the sauce wow tinny and raw. Ingredients not sure if I went on skimp on ingredients day but the quality is similar to 7-11 produce/pizza ingredients (that is if 7-11 sold those items). The pics listed - patrons must have ordered dbl or they brought their own because my pizza's Veg Out and Link In didnt resemble them in the least bit and tasted as though the ingredients were purchased out of trunk of a 1970 beat-up Buick. Definitely a skip rating for this place -SKIP it if you can. If you have to eat here, have them go Chicago style; cheese first and sauce last and have them "rack" it to keep the crust from flopping Vlade Divak style. read more

The food is good but that's about all the nice things I can say. I used to eat at blaze frequently until I started to be harassed by the employees. What started off as a nice friendship with the employees ended up in hazing. "Wow you don't everyday whats wrong with you" ~Blake Items like this make visiting blaze nothing more than a chore to get decent pizza. It gets worse. If you desire to bypass the lines, you can use their app, or at least thats the idea. The app itself appears friendly and easy to use, however, it does not work. The reward system only worked 3 out of the 12 times i've used it. The employees in the store are not trained on the app and do not know how to give rewards. If you order via the app, there is a strong likely hood that your pizza will not arrive to the right store or at all. This has happened 5 times to my friends and I. Even if your order goes through, you still have to announce you arrived on time to pick up the order and wait the obligatory 10 minutes for your pizza to be cooked. The place is clean, spacious and relatively quiet. Management at this establishment is always making sure to help you. I showed up half an hour before they opened and I went in. I approached the front and The manager told me they were not open just yet but I was welcome to wait for another 20 minutes or so. I felt like an idiot but then he told me I could grab a drink while I waited. Then, he gave me a cup and once they "opened" I tried to pay for my drink and they told me It was on the house. The last time I came here they mistakenly gave my mom's pizza away to someone else. They had to remake it so by the time her pizza came out mine was cold since I didn't want to be rude and eat without her. They gave us a gift card for the mistake so we came back again today. The line is busy but the restaurant is not full. There is a fair amount of uncleaned table tops but the restroom is completely filthy. No toilet paper whatsoever, no hand soap, and there is a bloody tampon on the floor. I hope they do a better job of keeping the kitchen clean then they do the rest of the place. Eww! read more

What a novelty concept! Cooking a pizza in 180 seconds. And what's even better is charging the same amount for the pizza regardless of the number of toppings, unlike other pizzerias that charge more for additional toppings. The concept here is to either order one of their signature pizzas or build your own with whatever ingredients you want. They add the ingredients as you move along in line. When you finish with your order then the pizza gets cooked in 180 seconds. We came on a Friday evening, which was probably a mistake as it was very crowded. The line to order went pretty quickly, but the line for our pizza was looong. There must have been 20 pizzas in queue ahead of us. We ordered the Green Stripe, which included chicken, mozzarella, red peppers, garlic, and arugula and pesto drizzled on top after its cooked. For what you pay, it's a great deal. The crust is thin and the pizza is cut into 8 slices. Now, if you're not a big eater, then it's big enough for two, which was our case. You can't beat a meal (not counting drinks) for around $8. I really like the Green Stripe, but I also have them add pepperoni otherwise it lacks sodium to me. I think the ingredients really complement one another. Nothing is overpowering and adding the arugula and pesto after it's cooked is a great finishing touch. You can really taste the arugula and pesto. The thin crust doesn't make me feel bloated with carb like what other pizzas do. I will definitely be coming back in the future, but it won't be on a Friday night, that's for sure. read more

As you may know from my reviews, I rarely if ever give anything less than 3 stars just for principal and knowing some people respond differently... That being said, this place was good, but there are so many better options out there when it comes to pizza. Personally, I am of the mindset that I prefer Flamzz. The topping selections are slightly different and I prefer the toppings at Flamzz. That being said, if I my toppings were different, I might like Blaze, but I just prefer the alternative much better. Just as good as the one in Pasadena. Blaze pizzas are popping up everywhere with their Subway style concept. Always always always build your own pizza, well I guess you can order one of their specialty ones, but why would you when you can add what you want and as much as you want to your thin crust pizza. Everything tasted the same and the service was also the same as the one located in Pasadena, which is what sets this place apart from Pieology in my opinion. After my initial review, I was contacted by the owner, who sent me a couple free pizzas, and addressed my issues, so I thought it would be fair to give it another go, and update my review. Yeah, I think my initial review was a bit harsh, but still feel that it's closer to 2-2.5 stars - rounded up and gave it a 3 anyway. Ok, so the pizza itself is not bad - on par (and maybe even a little better) with a couple of the local independent ones in town. Perhaps when I first went, it was just not done properly. To sum it up: 1) is it good pizza - yes 2) would I continue eating there - yes 3) is the $/portion good - yes (note: I shared one pizza with my gf, and it was plenty) 4) is the service good/fast - yes 5) would I drive past Zelos (or the 2 other local pizza joints in town) to go there: NO So the bottom line - it's hard for me to justify the drive to go there. When I think of pizza, only Zelos comes to mind. Perhaps it's not an apples to apples comparison for some of you, but it is for me. Some other places make it disastrously - the toppings fall through the accidental toilet-paper thin crust (even when they use the press machine) and it's impossible to eat the damn pizza. LOVED the Green Stripe pizza. I want to go back again and again to try everything. The price is just right and having only one size (11") makes ordering so easy. Perfect meal. The Chipotle style ordering and assembly line is really cool, too. Boyfriend was relatively satisfied with his gluten free crust but it is so thin it's pathetic. They should stack two GF crusts on top of each other so it can hold more toppings and feel more like a pizza. Charging $3 more for GF crust is a downer when you see how thin it is. Next time we eat Blaze pizza, we're taking it to go. The noise level is too much. Families with young kids did nothing to keep their kids under control. They let them run around, scream, and bang glass jars of Parmesan cheese on the tables constantly with not one thought from the parents to stop them. Not Blaze's fault at all. Arrived close to pick up time and there were 3 employees on break and only one was assisting customers and he kept asking for help and they kept ignoring him and the customers in line.
