This place needs to get it's act together. From being at the front of the line to actually paying and them putting my pizza in took 12 minutes. And just for a simple pepperoni pizza! I don't know what's going on and i understand things are difficult but watching others standing around prioritizing mobile orders is not a good look. I felt bad for others that were behind me in line. Knowing they had to go through the same thing. I can't blame the workers though. That's not their job to figure out efficiency. My first time trying this place. I was sitting in the park reading a book and every time I looked up it was in my line of sight. I was happy to learn they had a vegan option, as I just started eating plant based. Just a tip. Vegan cheese can be subbed in on any of their pies. When I picked up my order, the crust was not well done as I had requested. Other than tiny oversight, it was really good. All the produce were cooked perfectly al denté. Today at 7p my wife & I came in and ordered 3 build-your-owns and drinks. One of the pizzas was for our toddler. Without asking, the staff took the time to cut the chicken in half before going into the oven, and making a few slimmer slices when done cooking. Places get busy, and the extra mile can't always happen, but the team tonight displayed a human side. They worked as a team & communicated. You can get pizza anywhere but kind people are invaluable. I absolutely love Blaze Pizza and frequent this and many other locations regularly, so I was appalled by the horrible customer service and poor management this location displayed Friday (5/13/22) night. I visited the store at 8:15pm with my brother and the first thing that caught us off guard was the manager yelling at the person taking everyone's names and orders at the beginning of the line. He asked if that person had made a Caesar salad and when the person responded that they didn't have an order for a Caesar salad, the manager yelled at him that he needs to pay better attention and make sure he's making salads while taking orders. How is that possible? Also, why is this happening in front of customers. When it came to making my pizza it was a struggle to get the ingredients that I wanted. I would asked for extra pepperoni. The woman put 6 pepperoni on my pizza. I asked her for more, she put 2 more pepperoni. I had to ask her two more times to get the extra pepperoni I asked for. Seeing as that was the only topping I wanted outside of cheese, it was annoying that they were being so skimpy with the ingredients. I had a similar encounter with the guy who put the sauce and cheese on my pizza. Finally when it was time to recieve our pizzas that same manager threw our pizzas on the counter in front of us. When my brother asked for a BBQ sauce drizzle, the manager acted like it was an inconvenience for him to provide the drizzle. He added the drizzle then again, tossed my brothers pizza on the counter in front of him. All in all, the service was rude and unprofessional and after all of that the pizza was subpar. read more

Pieology led us into this build-your-own pizza craze, but they certainly aren't the only ones in the market anymore. When I do go BYO-P, I usually go to Blaze, Pizza Press, or Pile It on Pizza. Something about the way they build the crust is just the right amount of chewy and crunchy. The pizzas are big enough for two and come with unlimited toppings, and usually fall around $9. They pop out rather quickly. The only thing I haven't got the hang of is how to tell them ahead of time that I want arugula and pesto drizzle to finish. The employee who helped us wasn't rude, rather he just seemed disinterested in helping us. They did, however, miss a couple ingredients on my order. I always go to Blaze and get a traditional build your own. Normally very friendly staff and great customer service. When you build your own, you can pick and choose any toppings you like , get light or extra of whatever you want. At this location, I had the pleasure of working with Johnathan-terrible service. When I would ask for a topping, he would put the smallest amount on the pizza. I asked for mushroom, he would put 2 pieces, I would ask for more- he would put 1 more piece, and same floors for any other toppings I asked for, I had to beg him to get a normal amount on the pizza. I finally told him I would even pay extra for it- he said at this Blaze this is the way it works and you can not get whatever you want on your build your own at this one. It was my first time at Blaze and I did not know I was supposed to order the cheesy bread at the front with the pizza(maybe I should've realized but didn't) When I ordered it with the cashier, she rolled her eyes at me and said "okay next time, you order food up there and pay here" . My first time to Blaze and I feel that it was a learning experience. I enjoyed the food but when building my pizza next time, there are definitely things that I will do differently. The main thing is to get more meat loaded on. Their crust was pretty good, thin, crispy, and slightly chewy in the middle. We ordered a BBQ chicken pizza and added mushrooms with oregano and salt. The pizza comes standard with no sauce on it until after cooked when it is drizzled with BBQ sauce. Happy with this one but have had better BBQ chicken pizzas at other places. Our other pizza was the meat pizza which we also added mushrooms and oregano. We decided not to add the salt to see if we could tell the difference. The verdict was yes, we can. This was mainly because the spread of the salt was not great, just a pinch to the center of the pizza. The biggest learning point from this was to request more toppings. Their standard amount of toppings is like most places, however we love toppings and next time will request them to load on the meat toppings especially. They also get bonus points for being open late and their prices are pretty reasonable. read more

Coworkers and I had lunch here on Thursday. This was my first time and it definitely lived up to the hype. Since our lunch breaks are limited, we ordered online to save time. Which was smart because we used that time savings to hunt for parking. Parking at the Orange circle is never fun. When we arrived, we went straight to the online order register to by pass the regular line. The regular line wasn't actually very long but since we were on a lunch break, the online ordering made it faster for us. The place was clean and spacious. The guy firing the pizzas was really nice and put our order in the oven while we waited for the cashier to grab our drinks. The pizzas are prepped when you check in but they don't fire it up until you actually get there. I opted for the Green Stripe pizza but I added artichokes, extra garlic pesto and an olive oil drizzle to finish. I would not get the olive oil drizzle again. The pizza was delicious overall, but I think I'd like it better without it. The crust was light and crispy. It was a little messy but it's pizza. I ate half my pizza and that was pushing it. It was more than enough. You could share if wanted but for $8.25, might as well get your own. Oh and I can't forget about the blood orange lemonade. It was SO good! I could have had a gallon of that stuff. read more

I decided to pop into Blaze on Pi Day, aka $3.14 pizzas. As expected, it was SLAMMED. However, despite how hectic it must've been, they were able to keep the line organized and most importantly, flowing. I went with a build your own. If it's your first time, you basically follow the assembly line picking what you want for pizza sauce, meats, garnishes and at the very end, a sauce to top it off. If you're unsure, they also have pre-made pizza choices too. It's additional for the thicker crust or gluten free crust. The end result of my BYO pizza was actually really good. When Pieology first came out, I wasn't really impressed. I expected Blaze to be mediocre also, but my first slice proved me wrong. The ingredients tasted better, especially the dough. Pieology was really tough and kinda hard. One downer though: my girlfriend made her pizza pretty specific, so she asked for pesto on one side and BBQ sauce on the other. Unfortunately the guy at the end just put BBQ sauce on the entire thing. Anyway, beside the last little mistake, we will definitely be back to use our Pi Day coupons. read more

I stopped by Blaze Pizza at the Orange Circle for the first time a couple of weeks ago. When I mentioned to friends that it was my first time there, they were incredulous. "You are down here all the time and you've never been?" Ya, ya, I know... it's crazy. Stopped by during the Street Fair because we just needed some normal food (working at a booth with fried food... ugh!). First impressions: Clean, well-organized, friendly and patient staff that are willing to explain the system, decor that is relaxed and doesn't try too hard. I ended up getting a half pizza with a salad. I love that I can put any dang thing on my pizza and they don't nickle and dime ya for it. There were four(?) salad selections, and they were not stingy with the salad. The 1/2 pizza ended up being 3 slices and was plenty of food for me along with the salad. If you are taking the food to go, it is nicely boxed up, and they with provide a bag upon request. I will definitely be back here. The service was quick and friendly, and the food was terrific. read more

The only complaint I have about this location is the crust always burns at this location and not any others. My biggest complaint is The app sucks hard. When you aren't there to tell the employees more cheese or more of something else, they put the bare minimum. My favorite vegan pizza turned out to be a dry piece of toast. We have Blaze at least once a week. Sometimes the pizza is amazing. Most of the time it's okay of Calufornia puzza but sometimes is down right bad. It's either way to thin, or dry, or burnt. Horrible customer service. The guy taking our order messed up on one of our pizza's so he had to re-make it and he seemed so annoyed as if it was our fault he messed up. The guy cooking the pizzas looked angry he was slamming everything, even when getting our pizzas he just slammed them on the counter. Then they dropped our friends pizza, they tried to hide it, but once they got their pizza it was missing some of the toppings they had originally put on. They didn't even apologize for dropping their food and taking longer to have their food out, or for not putting all of their original toppings. This place looks like its run by a bunch of miserable teenagers, no one knows what they're doing and they do not have any good customer service. read more
