I just got back from a trip to paso, and at the end of my trips, i always try to review places that make an impact on me, which is very, very hard to do. This Blaze pizza was so good, i downloaded the yelp app to let everyone know, even though it was so busy, i think everyone from paso, templeton, cambria, and the surrounding areas already know about it! Evie was absolutely amazing, and completely engaging. She really made my visit to paso much better with her knowledge of the area, and she totally knocked it out of the park. She was also very fast taking my order, and she seemed like she was doing everyone elses job. I used to run a pizza shop at a waterpark here, and she would've made the perfect employee. She deserves a promotion. I have no idea what girl Amy C is talking about because i know that Evie was absolutely amazing. The pizza tasted amazing too! It was exactly the way i liked it, and much faster than anywhere around Idaho. The customisable pizza was an amazing feature, Jr did a spectacular job making my pizza well done, like i asked, and he also recommended some great ingredients. This place has been open for about 3 months now and it still feels like they just opened. Some of the assemblers are nice and some are just rude. They ran out of white sauce at 1130am and the past 3 times I've been here, the bottom of the pizza is burnt. I used a free soda reward from the app but when I asked them to scan my phone for the rewards the lady said they don't accept the reward program which is strange because they accepted it before. This is the absolute worst Blaze location and a waste of time. Be ready to stand there for 10 minutes before someone even addresses you are there. Wait for it; it's another 10-15 minutes after someone comes to write your name on the order slip just to walk away while the single employee making pizzas takes their time making the pizza in front of yours. Also, for some reason, the person making the pizzas also has to take your payment. The employee who had just handled money didn't wash their hands before reaching for another pair of gloves. She then passed us by to go write names on more order slips. This is supposed be a quick service restaurant yet no one understands how to get customers through quickly. Waiting is the length of a sit-down restaurant but instead you don't get waited on, you stand there waiting for them. This wasn't the first time I walked out. I really love Blaze pizza. The employees there are always very personable and happy to help. You can always ask for more of a topping if you're like me and love the toppings most of all. Most importantly, they offer gluten free pizza at Blaze, and if you have a gluten allergy they will change their gloves, and use different equipment to avoid cross contamination. Today I did an order over the Computer, however doubt don't ever make that mistake the pizza was left with no meat and I ordered five I had two cheeses I ordered for I had the different type of olives I was left just feeling helpless I tried to call into the company they reroute you to all these different areas and then when you finally get to the phone line that would finally get to a customer service they say that they're out there having technical difficulty. ironically this is not my first time trying to call In and getting this technical difficulty and never reaching a person ...to say the least. this place has gone down the toilet and used to be one of the best places to go to. Do not eat at this place. Long line for crappy pizza. Inadequate seating and pizza had hardly any cheese on it. It was the most bland tasting pizza I've ever had. I have been going to this particular blaze pizza since the day of their soft opening, before the grand opening. And they were incredible. We have told everyone! However as of recently I could not be more upset. Twice they have mismanaged my order. This past time I stood at the counter for over 10min with not so much as a "hey we'll be right with you" or "can we help you". I watched my food sit for over 10 more min as the guy pulling the tickets was all out of prder and since it was pick up I assume waiting on our call to pack it. It was terrible. Im guessing the woman who was not in blaze attire going back and forth was the manager. She passed me 4x not so much as a "welcome to blaze". I'll start off with a disclaimer... I realize this location is just getting off the ground and hasn't had the time to really get into the groove of things. Idea of personal pizzas with a huge variety of toppings is extra appealing to me, but seems like this concept doesn't scale well. Lines were long (small area, new place to eat is just swamped for the first little while) meant that it was a bit of time investment to get your pizza. When I went, it was approximately 2pm on a monday, and it was busy, not 1 single table in the place that seemed to have been cleaned that day, so bad taste in my mouth off the get go. I'm a garlic sauce kinda guy, and the white sauce / garlic sauce to me tasted like an alfredo without much flavor. Crust was pretty good, as were some of the other ingredients like goat cheese and veggies. Overall I give Blaze a 2 stars as of now. I will give them another chance, and if things appear to improve, I will definitely update the review. read more

Normally I absolutely love this place but my last visit was really disappointing. My husband and I ordered two pizzas, cheesy bread, and an order of garlic knots for curbside pickup. I ordered on their app which had stated our order would be ready in about 18 minutes. I pull up 25 minutes later and call. The young man that answered the phone said I had to wait 3 minutes and they were "busy". At that point my husband just decided to go in and grab our order that was just sitting on the counter already. And they weren't even super busy. There was only 3-4 people in line. We come home to discover both pizzas are burnt on the bottom and cold. The pizzas weren't even sliced all the way. The garlic knots were torched. Luckily the cheesy bread was ok. When eating my pizza it tasted like some of the ingredients weren't super fresh. My husband called to complain and Jordan answered the phone. He said sorry we're super slammed. Being somewhat busy is an ok excuse to burn someone's food? At that point my husband asked to speak to the manager. We could here Jordan in the background talking shit to his manager as he handed the phone over stating "This guy is bitching about his pizza being burnt." The manager said if we drove all the way back across town he would replace our pizzas if we showed him proof they were actually burnt. My husband stated that he wasn't going to waste gas and just wanted our money back. The manager then agreed to have us text him pictures of the food with our name and number and he would give us a discount on our next pizza. He never replied back to us! And to put the cherry on top of the cake, I woke up at two this morning sicker than a dog and threw up my pizza. I don't know what the hells going on over there. I understand people make mistakes but the fact that I got sick in the middle of the night is highly concerning. read more

This was our first time at a Blaze and it happened because we walked out of the Chili's across the way. We explained our bad experience at the Chili's and as a result they comped our pizza! It was a very good pizza and made to order. They only make one size pizza which are basically individual size so you will likely need to order one per person. Ordered online. While waiting outside for our pick up time I noticed they had charged me $7.27 (15%) tip without my authorization. Tried to cancel order to see if I had missed something and was unable to cancel order. They gave phone number that went un-answered. Went inside and told manager I was not paying for tip (I'm picking up the order why would I pay a tip!) she said she would take care of it. I will check tomorrow. Checked out their website and the default is 15% on the checkout form. You have to uncheck the box to not get charged a tip! Hiding in plain view. Most people won't see this and some won't make the effort to get the credit. I will never go back. I don't tip for them putting my pizza on the counter and besides the pizza wasn't very good. This place is awesome! First time going there today. Had the art lover signature pizza which was very tasty with its big chunks of cheese and tomato sauce. I could pick any additional toppings free of charge. Usually I'm not much for thin crust but the crust here is amazing! And the employees? Should you ever have the unfortunate opportunity to eat at Blaze pizza in Paso Robles, by all means, skip it and run for the nearest anywhere else. Ugh! First, the restaurant was dirty. Not just dirty, but kinda gross, sticky stuff stuck to your shoe gross. There were numerous young minions behind the counter that barely had a clue. Possibly a bad night, but many bins of the toppings were cross-pollinated with the food from nearby bins ( no I don't want that on my pizza, thanks anyway...). Decidedly ungenerous with toppings, and I basically had walk the genius making the pizza on how to put toppings on a pizza: " is that enough cheese." " Not even close.... I'll tell you when"....." nope, keep going...." OK, I get it, you really don't have to be a bright light to work here, but there were 7 people working there and there were empty beverage dispensers (lemonade? Not till the end of our meal)). Three (burned crust) pizzas and the smallest, possibly the most mediocre Caesar salad I have ever seen for $47.00 for three of us. At best the taste was poor,at worst, burned. I've had better frozen pizzas from the market! Letting the manager know about the poor quality of the food garnered no response other than she came and refilled the lemonade dispenser. Give credit when credit is due. I tried this place about a month ago and actually got in and out pretty quick. Came back a couple other times, and tonight I asked the gal if this location was under new ownership. She stated she is the district manager and is making the store a better location for customer service and I can honestly tell. I'm glad service has changed they have a lot of employees and when there's people at the counter they come and help them instead of just stand around.
