Mosaic Madness IPA for the win!!!!

I had my share of mediocre burgers in the past. You know the kind where it's hit or miss, or the kind where the first bite is usually just a mouth full of raw onions?! Yeah well, this is definitely not the case here at Primal House. First time visit here, which we stumbled upon just by driving around and exploring. Now this place will definitely be a "must" whenever we come back into town. Ordered the Primal Burger, which in my humble opinion is second to none and probably one of the best I've had thus far! 4oz (x2) of the freshest, most succulent, meat-forward tasting, and perfectly cooked beef (medium rare) you could ever imagine! WOW, just wow! Superb service the day we came and we were also humbled to have met Chef Marcel who just happened to come out to the dining area to say hello. That speaks volumes in my book. Thank you, Chef. As I write this review, I'm already looking forward to trying their ribeye the next time we come back to town! LOL. CHEERS and happy eating till next time...

Service - perfect Food - you can tell they make everything from the freshest ingredients Ambience - very hip and homey at the same time Tip: When you walk in you'll see the market and butcher section. The restaurant is towards the back.

A very nice fairly new place in Paso by Tin City. Very nice environment with some Stupendous miniature homemade pies if you can get them. The banana cream is the best so far. They were out of them last night

    Great and take some home!!

I don't normally give 5 stars however, this place deserves more than 4 stars. My husband and I stopped here from L.A., glad we did. I was craving for juicy burger and this place did not disappoint us. The staff are friendly and our waiter (Clayton) was very friendly. The steak bite was cooked to perfection as well as the burger. Bacon was did not have a fake taste it's really bacon!. Service was fast. We also bought sausage to take home. Definitely coming back, from Santa Cruz.

    Stew- hearty and delicious

Service, atmosphere, food - all 10/10 Live music added energy to the space. Shopping for artisan food items, fresh in house cut meats, local farm items.

We recently started to get our meat here- it is amazing! All of the meat so far has been exceptional! Today (Christmas Eve) we ordered a tri tip dip sandwich- wow was it totally delicious!!! Hubby and I split it. Yet another surprise was I saw Rosie working there!!! She is such a wonderful human being! This is my new most favorite place EVER and the prices are very moderate Not expensive at all! The staff is always polite! I am a fan!

They haven't officially opened yet but you can come in and get food, beer, homemade sodas, fresh produce, locally sourced meats, and a variety of locally sourced goods. Every staff member is welcoming and very friendly. If you have any questions, just ask. When you come in, it's open and parts remind you of an alley of a time back when. The ambiance is very welcoming and lively. We truly enjoyed the burger and classic Philly. Both good and came with chips. We ordered the fries as well which came with a yummy aioli. Everything was tasty. They did take the plates fast after finishing but all good. While you are at it, pick up some meat to take home with you.

This place is like no other around. The restaurant served great food. We got the Primal burger and a wedge salad and the food was great. The service was very good. This is a family operated business and you can get a feel for the price behind the business. In addition, there's a butcher shop with local beef. There are amazing steaks I'm now tempted to purchase when I'm hungry again. They've got tomahawk steaks and huge sausages. They look amazing.

Primal House is a bold and multifaceted business with a butcher, fresh and frozen meats, dining room, brewery, and some produce in a well designed building, giving each business its own space. The menu includes upscale burgers, cheesesteak sandwiches, and salads. It would be great if they had smaller plates for those less ravenous. A big plus is their support for local musicians with live music almost nightly! Highly recommended that you stop in to support this local business.

My son and I stopped in for dinner tonight and loved it! Our server Ciara was amazing, her recommendations were spot on, and the rest of the servers were so nice too (I think we talked to Troy?). There was live music which was fabulous. The house made root beer was so flavorful and complex, and my basil mocktail was herbal and fresh. We both ordered the burger which was truly mind blowing. The patty was huge and perfectly cooked medium. It was almost TOO juicy, but the bun perfectly kept the structure without being heavy. The local heirloom tomatoes and the peppered bacon added even more flavor. Legitimately some of the best burgers we've ever had! The fries were also perfectly cooked and flavored. We'll be back soon!

We were over wine tasting after spending thousands on bottles and needed a change, and maybe not spending so much on bottles. Lol. We came to get some beers. I got the Michelada and a hazy. I didn't like their michelada, it was too tomato-y and not sour enough. Should have asked for a chelada. It wasn't good. But their hazy IPA was good. Stick with regular beers! Got their fries and burger for the toddler. He liked the fries and ate the burger later. Place is super spacious for large gatherings or just a meet up. Finally made it back for Spring break and enjoyed more of it by signing up for the brewery tour…read more I know the burgers are the way to go and tried 3 different burgers this time, with 3 different fries skinny, lion, garlic parm, lol. Different is good, but I think the classic 805 smash burger is the KISS, keep it simple stupid, fav. Same with fries, skinny or lion are the best. The garlic parm upgrade was tasty but too oily. I love the regular fries with their crack ranch sauce to dip into. Oh, I did get to try a sample of one of the sours. Never had sour ale before, so this was a great chance to try it out! Definitely an acquired taste, as it was not for me. Glad I didn't just order a glass of it! I'll stick to my fav kiss UDBA, lol. For the brewery tour, my bad in misunderstanding in signing up. Per person over 12 does not mean the ticketed participant pays to drink the samples, while under 12 can go for free without samples. It means, no one under 12 can go on tour period (not just stroller babies, anyone under 12 is no go), it's the law so that's that. They kindly offered to still get me beer flight while I relaxed in the room with the under 12 kid:) All the beers I chose were delicious and I had a great time chatting with Ms. April, like a personal bartender! Tour came back in about an hour and wife was tired from it. Glad I stayed behind to just enjoy the tour, since inside the factory was loud when had to enter the door to use the restroom. So if thinking of doing beer flight in the restaurant, just go across the street and do the tour without doing the tour and enjoy the flight here! A must stop in Paso for me. I still need to hit the one in Venice - Marina Del Rey area... Wife recommended to her coworker and they went to that location and loved the burgers and beer. So if can't make it up to Paso for the OG location, the one in LA is much closer for us LA/OC folks. April told me the Sunglider beer they had was developed in the Venice/Marina location, and it's become popular to become a permanent offering or something. So maybe time to go check out the Venice/Marina location to discover what is under R&D! (but I am sure I will still just get the UDBA there, lol)
