I ordered food for delivery from them and was never told it was door dash. hey allowed my order to be picked up but door dash wouldnt deliver to me which im maybe a mile away from store. Tried calling them for a refund and was treated very rudely by them. I callled doordash and neither would refund my money since i didnt receive our food. out 50 for the food. I would say that each visit here is a bit worse than the last...the shame is their vegan gluten free crust is the best! For that I give them 1 star. The problem here is that when it gets busy their team tend to get super overwhelmed and I sit and watch them snap at customer after customer. My last visit consisted of one customer ranting to me the entire time I waited for just that reason. I waited in the store 40 minutes past the time I was supposed to pick up my online order and was yelled at (he unfortunately was not wearing a name tag) when I asked if they had started my order. Finally after watching them serve five people who walked in after me I asked for a refund and was told by the manager to give her five more minutes...so I waited ten...at that point I had to insist that I get my refund. Blaze Pizza used be great once upon a time ago but this store in S Reno is the worst representation of your franchise. It's continuously managed and run like absolute crap along with the most unfriendly employee you could imagine. Mam working with the long red hair in the S Reno location this is now the 2nd time you have made our experience at Blaze miserable. The first time I walked out of the store not purchasing anything after 10 min of you not helping us about a month ago but this time if I had noticed who you were I would have done the same but unfortunately I had the awful experience of 3 min in your presence making our pizza so unwilling to help and further more be a miserable human. I will never give my business again if this person is working here...I just may stay away indefinitely there are so many more deserving businesses to patronize. This is the worst pizza I've ever had the misfortune to eat. My husband and I decided to try it and when we got home 5 minutes after picking it up, it was lukewarm, the crust was chewy and floppy, and incredibly greasy for just a pepperoni pizza. A box pizza from a grocery store is 100 times better in flavor, texture, and overall appeal. And we don't like boxed pizza! I dropped by for the first time for lunch today (with a concern that my 1 hour lunch limit was in jeopardy). I was greeted as soon as I started in the line to order by a courteous employee who asked if this was my first time. The gentleman explained the menu and based on my responses to his questions recommend I go with the build your own pizza option. He also sold me on a salad. The salad was really tasty and fresh, the thin crust pizza was properly cooked and just the way I like it. The one concern I had was unjustified as the pizza was ready in plenty of time to allow for a leisurely lunch. I'll be back! So there was a sign saying they were closing at 8 pm instead of normal 10 pm. Ok no problem. However, we walked in there at 7:43 and manager on shift said they were closed. I replied but sign said 8 pm. He said too bad. I worked in the hospitality business for 15 years and we always served anyone who walked in up to 1 min before closing. The manager, Brittany, hung up on me. I had tried to place an order on the app but it was listed as "unavailable" when I called the 800 number, I was transferred to the location. Brittany would not take the order even though I was ready to pay by credit card. She ended up hanging up on me. I understand if she would not take the order if it is against store policy, but I cannot understand how a manager hangs up on a customer. I have been eating at this location since it opened. I had went to blaze once before in Vegas and let's just say it wasn't the best experience I had with pizza due to the fact that it was burned. I was a little nervous going to a brand new blaze because the training most likely was still happening. I decided to go since it is a different city and you never know. By far the best pizza I have had while in Reno on a work trip. I had tried Mypie and it was a mess. The line was long they only had 3 employees and the product was not fresh. I arrived at Blaze around 8pm and there was a decent line but the staff was fairly quick and with in 4 minutes my order was being taken and I was passed down to begin assembling my perfect pizza. Although the entire staff was nice three people stood out to me the most, the first boy's name was Tanner and he was fantastic. He was super upbeat and happy and just very easy to talk to and was very helpful. The second person who stood out was Crystal. She called out my name and handed me a perfect pizza. She was very kind and accommodated my request for two finishes perfectly. She later was checking on tables and stopped at my table to see how everything was going. This is what you call great customer service! Also, the cashier was very friendly and even gave me a coupon. Unfortunately I didn't remember her name because the writing on her name tag was a bit hard to read. This has become my pizza spot every time I am back in Reno. read more

I love pizza and am a fanatic. Whenever we travel we search around to find a good pizza place and boy did blaze deliver. Not gonna lie was a bit skeptical at first since I've tried similar spots like pieology but blaze is on another level. The dough tastes amazing and quality of the toppings is really good. I definitely recommend getting the high crust and the garlic pesto paste on the crust which the friendly staff recommended. Im not usually a big crust guy but that pesto gave it a unique flavor I could go for that by itself. Blaze fulfilled my pizza craving I will definitely be back with friends. The options of pizzas you can create are endless I'm looking forward to experimenting around and see what I can come up with next time. Also the restaurant was super clean which surprised me. Even the drink selection is really good the lemonade was on point tasted like it was homemade. And to top it all the owner came to our table and offered us free brownies which made my day! I've been to Blaze a few times now since they opened. I work down the street and the location is convenient. I've ordered online a couple of times and expected the pizza to be ready, or at least cooking when I arrive, but each time they hadn't started making it yet which made for a longer wait than I anticipated. I was offered a drink the first time I had to wait which was nice, but really if you are going to offer online ordering someone needs to watch the orders and make them. The next couple of times I ordered when I arrived and it seemed to be a smoother process for the staff. Although when you order a salad they don't make it until you remind them you had a salad also when they are trying to hand you your pizza box to go. So, you have to wait even longer while someone goes back down the line to make your salad. They don't offer sauces so if you want ranch you need to remember to ask for it which I will admit I have forgotten in my rush to get back to work. The food is pretty good and the restaurant has a nice atmosphere, but the staff need some assistance with what they are doing. There were quite a few employees, but they didn't seem to have a good flow going of who was doing what and there was a lot of back and forth from the food line to the register. I thought maybe it was due to being new, but now having gone a few times I'm not so sure. I've been in around 11 and 11:15 am to try and beat the lunch rush, but still had to wait. Also, a few of the employees have a distinct lack of customer service and border on rude when you are asking about how much longer it might be, or if you could please get your pizza that they boxed and then put down behind the counter while they went to get someone else's salad they forgot to get. And when asked if I could please get it since I already paid I was told that it wasn't my pizza and would need to wait only for the first employee to come back and open it to see that it was my pizza and hand it over. 1st and last time I will ever eat at any Blaze location this one was so bad. I ordered online and arrived 25 minutes after my order. While waiting to pick-up my order a customer complained her pizza was burned, which it clearly was over cooked. The cook took the pizza from the cashier and when told to redo as it was burned, very loudly said, "Whatever" and threw the pizza across her work station. The cashier then asked if I was there for pick-up and got my name. She indicated the order was not up but would be shortly. After 15 minutes another worker asked my name again and indicated a pizza that had been on the counter the entire time was mine. Shame on me for not looking until I got back to my hotel room. My pizza was great if you like eating room temp charcoal, it ws seriously burned. Two bites into it I placed the entire thing in the garbage, went to the Smith's grocery across the street and got a frozen microwave pizza. Should have done that from the start. Tasted better, cost half as much and I was eating it in a third of the time. read more

First Time Visit- The seating and facility was clean and open (mind you, I came at 12:40, so the heart of lunch rush). My wife and I ordered the Meat Eater and 4 knots. The pizza was perfect. Went to Blaze Pizza over the weekend with some friends. Hands down one of the best places to go for a truly customizable experience. I find it hard to convince my friends to eat at vegan friendly spots. Coming here to blaze was not the usual battle. I was able to pile high a TON of vegetables, skip the meat and dairy, and everyone else got to build their own pizza as they liked. I literally went for every veggie they had available. The staff was not shy to pile it on either, which made eating a Blaze pizza very different than the usual veggie pizza you'd get form other places. I opted for the vegan cheese - they use the Daiya brand which is delicious- and also got the high-rise dough for thicker pizza all around. I always finish my food, but as I was getting down to my last 2 slices, I was actually feeling full - I still finished the pizza though! The pizza was of solid quality and flavor.
