The past two Mondays (yesterday & the prior Monday), a friend and I had a couple of amazingly delicious lunches. Both times, my friend had the Macro Bowl with Tofu, and the 1st Monday I had the BOMB Salad, and yesterday I had the Poke Bowl with Tofu (OMG this seasonal menu item is beyond delicious and completely addicting! It's at least my 3rd time ordering it. And it's seasonal!) All the food was super fresh and amazingly tasty, and beautifully presented too. I would be happy to eat all meals here as the menu is so chock-a-block full of many amazingly tasty offerings. Speaking of which, we caught sight of the stuffed portobello mushrooms (going to a table nearby) and we will absolutely be trying those next visit! A total visual WOW! Anyway, I guess that's enough about the food. For now. Service is always super friendly and knowledgeable, and the restaurant is bright, cutely decorated, and welcoming. I have now given this place 6 opportunities to be at least SLIGHTLY good. I don't get it. Why does anyone like this place? I hate the food every time. I have now tried the Thanksgiving sandwich, a burrito of some kind, the Cobb salad, the turkey pesto sandwich a burger and yesterday a chicken taco salad. Ok, seriously, how can a taco salad not be good, right??? NO FLAVOR, and so skimpy on anything that might have made it good, it was ridiculous. HUGE amount of lettuce (because lettuce is cheap) then a dry and COMPLETELY flavorless chicken breast, a hand full of of black beans, a tablespoon sized portion of Mozzarella cheese (mozzarella? On a taco salad???) a tablespoon sized dollop of sour cream, a wimpy sprinkle of tortilla strips and some watery, very basic salsa (and not enough of that, either). I added a side of avocado which was maybe a quarter of one for $2.25 (so avocados cost $9 apiece, apparently). Anyway, once I ate what should have been the good stuff, there was sooooo much lettuce remaining. Bleh. I left hungry. That salad was $26 dollars for a tasteless bowl of lettuce. . Of the 5 other people with me, only one liked what she got, and she was the one who picked where we would eat. Never, ever again. Clean, organic food can still have flavor!!!!! read more

Stopped in on the way home from the airport after a long two-week trip and it hit the spot. The Gourmet Grilled Cheese was excellent as always featuring Cheddar, Havarti, Provolone, Mozzarella, pesto aioli, tomato on Truckee sourdough. Paired it with the Totally Tomato soup. Delicious meal. Service was great, and you can tell the employees genuinely enjoy working there. That's a credit to the management & leadership. Nice touch that much of the artwork is by local artists with some pieces being for sale. Good lighting, solid vibe, solid service. Glad I stopped. Highly consider a visit if in the area! read more

2/10 So this was 1st time here. Always wanted to go so we did. Came for dinner . We were greeted immediately and sat . Elijah was our server and was fantastic. We looked at menu and ordered pretty quick . Got an Ahi appetizer . Was really good and seared just right amount with a good wasabi sauce . I had the Battle born Burger with bacon and an egg. Was massive ( see pic ) and cup of tomato soup. Was good and big chunks of tomato. Forgot what wifey got but she enjoyed as well . Service was top notch always making sure we had what we needed and drinks refilled . Great food and great service. Nice chill atmosphere as well. Very clean too. Will be back to try more stuff. Back again for my favorite soba noodle salad, it is the perfect combination of freshness, peanut crunch, and amazing sauce. It feels both light and incredibly filling and substantial at the same time. Yet again paired it with the chicken tinga tacos. Also some chips with green salsa and bean dip- the green salsa was SO GOOD! Our waitstaff was incredibly helpful and brought everything out super fast when we mentioned we had a time crunch. While the cost of dining out continues to climb, here you know you're going to get a high quality meal made with impeccably sourced ingredients, served with a big smile by someone who genuinely cares about you as a guest. We recently popped in for an impromptu brunch and it was fantastic. I just had a cup of coffee while my wife enjoyed her bowl, but we had the most wonderful conversation just whiling away the morning. GG is great, for all parts of the day, and all types of diners. Holy frijoles! Service was excellent and food equally so. I work as a private chef (on the side) and I'm naturally tuned into macro and micro details... Restaurant was very clean and bright... Staff was super kind and genuine about making sure it was a positive experience... Food was fresh and tasty, with attention to detail. I had the Avocado Toast - which was a very generous portion; I had two pieces and still had plenty of leftovers to take to a fellow chef friend as she was homebound from surgery... even had enough leftovers for her son, too. I usually go for lunch and love the variety of healthy options as well as the glow girl mimosa. I went with my daughter the other day for breakfast. I've heard the waffles were good and it did deliver. I didn't realized that she had ordered one that had ice cream on it. Definitely rich, but also super satisfying with the caramel and chocolate drizzle and almond slices. The ahi on the eggs Benedict was seared and crispy making it a great addition. The eggs are over easy, which is fine. My preference would be to have the eggs poached. The potatoes had a nice crisp to them making it flavorful. Our waiter was attentive and really on everything. I think everyone is always really friendly. The location is always clean and the art work that you can purchase is a nice touch. I would say the ambiance is a little cafeteria style so great for breakfast and lunch, but while I like the happy hour, I am more drawn to the Legends location for the outdoor seating at that time in warm months. read more

First done-in experience with Great Full. Vatapa A rich Brazilian stew with African infuences. You can choose your own protein between shrimp + cod, chicken or tofu. Coconut milk, cashew butter, tomatoes, jalapeño, This was such a unique dish that I recommend anyone to try - although I'm not sure I would order it again. The seafood broth is undeniable. I'm having a hard time, however, defining the exact texture of this dish. There's rice and other grain or bready ingredient but I'm just not sure it worked - almost a mushy soft-rice type of consistency that got mushier as the the broth absorbed over time. I met one of my dearest oldest friends for a late birthday brunch. I'm no stranger to Great full gardens, but I usually frequent Sparks since I live closer to that location. I always order one of their superfood lattes to start and was bummed that my grilled cheese was bland and missing something. They skimped on the cheese and over toasted my sourdough. Their potatoes here are my favorite! My friend ordered their tuna melt and had no complaints about it. We didn't have room for dessert, but I offered. Our server was phenomenal! He was busy and there was a line waiting to get in, but he didn't neglect us. My friend enjoyed her birthday brunch, so that's all that mattered to me. I was digging for my receipt to recover my server's name, but no luck. As busy as they were on this day, they still provided great service from the door until we left. Thank you all! I love this location! Much easier parking than midtown. Food is consistently delightful and I eat here probably once a month. Prices feel very high but I love it so I keep coming back. Service can be hit or miss but the staff is always nice. When busy, the dining room can be quite loud as it's one open space. There are a few tables outside to enjoy the weather when it's nice, though make sure you're not in shorts as the metal will imprint in your skin. Straightforward, wholesome food that tastes like you could have made it...if you were an excellent cook. You get straightforward meals like the Teriyaki Bowl. It has so many veggies, and the pineapple rings on top are the best. It's the kind of thing you'd make after a farmer's market forage, and the quality of the ingredients is clear. The Stuffed Shrooms are not something I would normally make because it's so difficult to make good portabella mushrooms well, but they succeed. It's a great mix of veggies, cheese, and meat-sub crumble. They also make the most legit Grilled Cheese I've ever had anywhere. Hot, fluffy, sourdough bun-bread makes a 4-cheese hoagie, perfectly toasted, spread with a rich aioli. Grilled cheese is usually something you get for your kids, but this one is fully adult. I really like this place. Great-tasted everyday food made with fantastic ingredients so everything tastes like a farmer's market. I brought my little lady that I help out with here for lunch today. She has Alzheimer's and I take her to lunch 3 days a week to give her husband some alone time. Today we ended up here. I love this place. There is something for everyone on the menu. This time I got the seared ahi and a garden salad. Colleen got the sauteed shrimp and some of my salad. Both dishes were amazing and the salad is huge for 10 bucks. Our waiter, Shane, was great as well. The staff here are so friendly and attentive. It's a casual atmosphere and usually very busy, so it can get a little loud. I also got a togo order for the 2 of them to share for dinner. The turkey pesto sandwich with coleslaw. I love this Great Full Gardens location. Every time I come here I get great, friendly service. The menu has so much to choose for vegans as well as the meat eaters or vegetarian. The parking is very plentiful. When you walk in you are greeted right away and seated. The servers never make you feel rushed, and the food is amazing and decent portion sizes. Coffee and lunch today with one of my besties at Great Full Gardens. I had the magnificent mocha with almond milke and she had the chai latte. Both were delicious and beautifully presented. The mocha was not overly sweet/sugary. I ordered the Great. She ordered the seared ahi appetizer which was a very generous portion to make a full meal for one. The ahi was sesame-crusted and came with house made teriyaki, wasabi cream sauce and green onions. I had the Great Full Burrito with Mexican rice, mozarella added tri-tip for protein. Came with a side of sour cream and both red and green salsa on side. Very good in its simplicity. The tri-tip was a little too chewy for my liking, but I would still order again. The service was fast, prompt and friendly. Our waitress was very patient with us as we were slow to order, being so busy catching up with each other.
