How nice to have a wonderful pizza place in town that has Gluten-Free, Keto, Paleo, and vegan options. If you haven't been yet, it is a build your own pizza which offers a ton of options in vegetables and cheeses which includes a vegan option, various meats, sauce options, and even a balsamic glaze. Not only do they offer pizza, they also have desserts, salads, and sides. They also have beer, wine, and other drinks. However, service is hit and miss. I was lucky enough to come in a couple of times and have Alex and Smith help me. The team on those nights seemed to bond well and were on point with customer service, friendliness, and knowledge. The pizza is good. Since you can have as many toppings as you want it would be nice if they allowed you to get double pepperoni on the app. I absolutely love that I can order and pay on the app on my phone and then go pick it up. read more

I have been a skeptic of this pizza making style for sometime and therefore never tried this spot. Huge mistake. Blaze pizza is absolutely delicious! They have mastered the process and do a delicious job. I came here with my brothers and was shocked at the number of options in terms of toppings, cheeses, sauces, and even pie crusts. I ended up going with their thick crust, regular cheese and sauce, pepperoni jalapeño pizza. They made the entire pie in front of me and then as I paid tossed it into the oven. It took maybe 10 minutes after that and I had my hot personal pizza in front of me. It was good. Nothing more I can really say. It was also way too much for me to have one my own but had I gone with the thinner crust it would have been perfect. Since good pizza buffets have all but disappeared from this city (especially on the weekend) I can see myself coming here for a pizza lunch more often down the road. read more

I've eaten from here twice now in the last month. The first order was to go, and while we ordered online we weren't able to order the seasonal salad which was a bummer. By the time we sat down to eat about 20 minutes after pick up, the pizza was a bit soggy so I definitely recommend that you eat there. The second visit was much better because if you eat as soon as you get your order, you obviously don't run the risk of the pizza getting soggy. They also offer the seasonal salad there which was great. I had the half and half both times. First time I had a cesar salad which was ok, I preferred the roasted squash salad I had on my second trip by far. The pizza I had the first time, I don't remember what it was called but it had good flavor just not texture which I relate to travel time. This is the Chipotle of Pizza! Stand in line, order one from column A, two from column B - add-ons? Drink? Done, go sit down and we'll call you. The pizza is okay. Not great, but good enough. It's cheap and convenient. If you want to sit down and have a great pizza with a glass of wine - Grimaldi's in around the corner. If you are in a hurry and need a bite of pizza - this place will fit that bill. We had the White pizza and the spicy one. The line was long but it didn't take too long to get to the end goal- pizza. The blood orange lemonade was addictive. The cheesy bread was fluffy, oily, and scrumptious. My sausage was flavorful with hints of spice which I love. I would 100% suggest asking for extra cheese as you can see from these photos their serving of mozzarella is minimal. Another suggestion I have for you is to bring your own Lysol wipes because the tables were covered in grease, I never saw anyone wiping them and they didn't provide Lysol wipes to wipe our own. We have been here twice over the past couple of weeks. The first time was to take advantage of the $3.14 pizza offer and the second was to take advantage of the $3.14 off of a pizza offer. Both times we found the store to be clean, and the staff to be friendly and accommodating. For both visits we did build your own pizzas. We both tried the ghost pepper chicken meat balls (yum! and ouch!), and I tried the vegan chorizo. I am not sure how they pulled off the vegan part, the the flavor was spot on. When asked to add more to the sauce or toppings, they were quick to do so. Overall I felt that we received a good quality product, fresh and good tasting ingredients, in a nice sized 11" portion, for a good price. While we had coupons both times, I feel the $10ish non-discount price is still good. If I had to nit pick, I would ask that the person boxing the pizzas ensure two things 1) the pizzas are placed into the boxes neatly, to avoid getting pressed into with the box lid and 2) make sure the bottom of the boxes do not get anything on them when they are boxing them. Nothing worse than putting a box down on the way home to have a lap or car seat get dirty from food or sauce that was on the bottom. read more

Customer service was just okay, ordered a meatball pie pizza, they forgot the meatballs part and when they added the meatballs it seemed like they broke apart one single meatball for the whole pizza. Overall I'd give this place a 4/10. For the price it just was not worth it. read more

I love this franchise. I've been to the ones in Spokane, Roseville and South Reno. I gave a star for location, pizza and drinks. Those 3 things were on point. Service was not what I expected from Blaze. Five different young adults assisted in our order and only one of them was awesome. He had a bunch of pins on his hat, dark hair and thin. Lots of personality. My least favorite worker was the one plating the pizzas. For whatever reason he let my pizza sit in front of him while he doled out 4 others that came after me. I was actually worried that my paper had fallen and wasn't in the line up anymore. But it was there. It was odd. They have soda water and regular water in the machine. 3 crafted sodas that are excellent, Aqua frescos, blood orange lemonade, regular lemonade and iced tea. It's nice to have a quick pizza bite spot in sparks. There was nothing here that stood out from a build it yourself pizza place. I got what I expected out of it & their products were fresh as can be. They have multiple sauces & cheeses to choose from, many of veggies, spices & meats. After its done you also have the choice of adding a sauce on top which they swirl on generously. The staff were very hard working & pleasant to talk to. I noticed that they were overwhelmed with the amount of customers during a weekday at lunch time, but delt with it pretty good. I saw a lady that was there to pick up a delivery & it wasnt ready when she expected. She wasnt very happy. The most disgusting pizza I've ever had. I ordered a GF chicken via DoorDash. Had I known the crust was going to be well done like that I would have never ordered it as I almost broke my teeth and cut the inside of my mouth trying to eat it. There was hardly and chicken, basil, agrula and cheese on it no taste at all. The agrula was so shriveled up looked old. Tried calling to speak to manager and you can't get through to anyone. BEST pizza I have EVER eaten at a restaurant BECAUSE they have ALL the ingredients I pile on at home. ALL pizzas are served on a 12" pan and measure 11"-12". This is the Subway and Chipotle of pizza. YOU FOLLOW your pizza along as they add whatever toppings in whatever order you want. You design your own as you go. Their standard answer to "can I have more...whatever..." is YES. They charge $2 extra for gluten free crust and thick crust. We had a coupon for a free pizza so I tried the gluten free. It was ok. If I actually ate gluten free I'd save the $2 and just eat the toppings. Seriously. I do that all the time anyway. It's the toppings I love. They give you extra pizza pans if you need a plate! And forks & knives! Brandon is the General Manager here, he and others stopped by to make sure we were happy. I feel confident that if anything goes wrong with your order here, they will ABSOLUTELY make it right. Other than an occasional slice at Costco, where I only eat the toppings, I HAD stopped eating pizza out. I'm always disappointed. This is the first place offering Klamata olives and sliced Pepperoncinis! And other AweSome toppings. I WILL BE BACK HERE! FYI I added a TOP layer of cheese...what other place let's you do THAT? So I ordered the take two. Half pizza and a salad. For the salad I got cesar and for the pizza I got art lover which is artichoke, ricotta dollops of red sauce, chopped garlic, and mozzarella. I took off the garlic and added chicken, bacon. Green pepper, mushrooms, and tomatoes. I also got a chocolate chip cookie and a soda. I went to sit and there were crumbs on all the tables. Many moons ago I used to work for a BYO pizza restaurant chain. During that time, I tried a lot of other BYO competitors but never got the chance to try Blaze. I'm so glad they opened in Reno! They have a good selection of toppings, their crust tastes great (I've only tried the original thin crust) and they do a good job moving people through even on busy nights. On one visit, I split a GF crust pizza with my niece and I was really impressed with how good it was. However, if you are Celiac, there are a lot of possibilities for cross contamination so not sure how great this is for people with serious allergies. read more

We ordered a large 1 topping pizza but in the comments section asked for 1/4 to have pepperoni. When our order was delivered, the vegetarians were dismayed to find the entire pizza was pepperoni. Husband and I had blaze pizza twice in the last month and had a great experience both times. I ordered the veg out with few substitutions which they are happily accommodate. Husband got the meat lovers pizza. They use fresh ingredients and the sauce/cheese ratio is perfect. Our pizzas were cooked to perfection, thin but crispy crust and filled with ample flavor. For ~$8, you can get a personal pizza (around 8 slices) and the best part is they take like 3 min to bake!! You can choose a curated signature pizza or make your own. If you make your own, it's UNLIMITED toppings!! I chose to make my own and my toppings included white sauce and pesto, gorgonzola, feta, ovalini cheese, sausage and meatballs, artichoke, jalapeño, mushroom, and spinach. The pizza was made super fast and was soooo filling I was able to share with my friend also! My Wife and I are MOD Pizza die hards, but we also like to try new and different places so when the opportunity to try Blaze presented itself, we decided to go for it. We initially were going to eat lunch at Habit, but the saw Blaze and decided to head inside to check it out. If you've been to MOD you'll feel comfortable ordering here as it works much in the same manner. You select your crust and then tell them which toppings you'd like. Once you pay, they throw your pizza(s) in the brick oven and call your name once they're ready. The reason I gave it three stars is because the customer service was good and the pizza was decent. I didn't not like it, but I didn't hate it either. Blaze is kind of in a grey area with me. I do recommend that you give it a shot but as far as I'm concerned, now that I've tried both, I'm MOD through and through. read more

I can't tell you how happy it makes me to have a single serving build your own pizza place so close by...and they pretty much rock at freshness, great service & amazing availability of different options for different preferences. They have nice variety of crust options: original, high rise (thick), keto, gluten-free, cauliflower. My favorite is the Take 2, which includes 1/2 pizza (which you can get with any crust) & your choice of garlic knots or a side salad. The salad choices include premade salads or a build your own salad. The knots are a little bit of heaven. And the salads are perfect! The cherry on top today... we visited Blaze as part of a fundraiser for Reed HS BioMed program. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the employees knew exactly what to do AND my receipt documented the fundraiser on it. (So often, when these fundraisers happen at other establishments, the cashier doesn't know what to do and it's questionable whether your purchase really ever gets credited to the school.) Decide to give Blaze Pizza a try for dinner last night. I must say, they have some very unique offerings which make this an appealing place to eat but on the other hand they have a couple things that make me feel a bit less than satisfied with my choice. Firstly, I love that you can order a pizza with unlimited toppings. They also have different crust options, sauce options (I'm a traditional girl so unlike the classic dough and red sauce), multiple cheese options, plenty of toppings, and they even offer toppings to add once your pizza is finished cooking such as arugula or balsamic drizzle. This is great! I also love that I can sign up for the rewards program and order directly from the app. The thing that kind of rubbed me the wrong way about Blaze Pizza however was that my to-go order was sitting out on a shelf that is completely open to the public which I did not like considering anyone could touch it. I ordered a salad and a pizza so by the time I picked up my order, the salad was warm and the pizza was a bit cold. Once I got my pizza home, the toppings were a bit thinly spread and not very well spread out but hey, maybe I'll just have to ask for extra next time. I thought the food tasted decent but was expecting a bit more after what I heard other friends say about Blaze. One cool thing you should do is download the app and creat a rewards account. Visited 4/25/19 - I know they say, "never look a gift pizza in the mouth", but I wasn't won over by Blaze Pizza. It'll sound especially ungrateful when I say I went because I received a "we're new to the area!" offer postcard, too. I like the concept, and the new addition to that dining area near he Marina is pretty cool, and with neighbors like Jersey Mike's and Chick-fil-A, they're in good company, but there's just a little something off for me about Blaze Pizza. It's quick, sure, it's personal, OK. The dining room was nice, trendy, and clean. I chose my toppings, watched in appreciation, ordered a drink and put a tip in the jar. I did their welcome offer right, ok? So why wouldn't I beat feet to go back? Well, I guess it partially has to do with not being a ride-or-die pizza fan, but that's on me. I overheard the guy finishing the pies make a few "well, I'm new here, I don't know" comments that to me just came across as "not my job" but if I had to put my finger on what put me off, it was just the taste and appearance of the pizza.
