The location is perfect right in the heart of downtown, surrounded by history and that small town charm Woodland is known for. You walk in and immediately feel the character of the place. It's not manufactured, it's real, and that matters. The atmosphere is on point. It balances upscale and relaxed in a way that works whether you're there for a date night, business dinner, or just grabbing a drink. The lounge has great energy and always feels alive without being too much. The food speaks for itself. Consistently high quality, fresh, and well executed. You can tell there's intention behind every dish, not just going through the motions. For the level of quality you're getting, the value is absolutely there. Service is a big reason this place stands out. Christy is amazing. She genuinely cares, remembers people, and makes sure you're taken care of the right way. It never feels forced, just natural hospitality. This is one of those spots that's become part of Woodland's identity. You see regulars, new faces, families, and business meetings all happening at once. That kind of mix only happens when a place is doing something right. If you're looking for great food, strong atmosphere, real service, and a place that actually represents the community, this is it.

Booths, umbrella tables, and bigger tables. Dog-friendly! Since it was Tuesday, the food that day was Heavy D's which had street tacos, nachos, quesadillas...I got three tacos, asada, pollo and adobada. They also had carnitas! Next time I might go for one of their pizzas or pretzel offerings, and an actual beer. I stuck with a non-alcoholic mango cranberry slush although they did also have some NA beer options as well. Water is self-serve inside near the patio entry, bins above the trash cans to bus your glasses. Neat to see their calendar has events such as industry night, trivia, run club, game night, Scottish country dancing, live music (rock, folk, funk, R&B, jazz, blues), arts & crafts, even a luau!

I particularly enjoyed the sausage in the pizza as it had really good flavor. I had a flight of beers ranging from sours to a hazy ipa. I particularly enjoyed the Haze Zeus with the pizza. The service was order at the counter and pick up food when the buzzer beckons. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. We choose I door as there was a band outside. I would definitely come back here if I was in the area.

The vendor tried to tell me it isn't Crawfish season...... lol I get fresh crawfish from Sacramento any time i please!! I really wish I bought n cooked my own instead. For the same amount that I paid I would've been able to feed a whole village +Some! No lie! Tasted like they just boiled it then tossed it in Cajun seasoning... salty!!! Had to wait 30+ Minutes for 2!!!! Pieces of skimpy ribs with a side of undercooked, soggy "garlic fries" smh. Sorry, I will not be returning.

I did like the location, it was easy to find and parking was $5. I like the street to walk on versus grass from last year. I knew exactly what I wanted which was the crawfish. I found out the chef was straight out of NOLA. it was delicious, and I'm well experienced in Creole/Cajun/Southern food. I also had catfish and gumbo... I was pissed! the ';seafood' gumbo was like 3 boiled shrimp inside shrimp water and file. it was terrible. I ate it because it was $9 dollars but it was totally disrespectful and bad for anyone who tried that for their first time. The catfish was average, not super tasty, nice soft and crispy batter. we also got a meat pie, should have been a rice pie. and there wasn't really any crawdads in that either. after eating those we were so upset we left. I later found out people agreed with me on those items. Everything was expensive as well and that's what leaves a bitter taste in my mouth. Aside from that, I enjoyed the music and walking around talking to people. Things like this is why I always appreciated going to the root of cooking concerning peoples culture. I'll go again for certain foods but there is nothing like the real thing!

Our waiter kept our glasses full the entire time my friends and I were there. The food was delicious. We ordered the fried ravioli to share around the table and we finished it before I could take a picture. The mains had too good flavor and not over powering. I ordered the tri tip dip and it was delicious. The bread was fluffy, soft and perfectly toasted. The tri tip was soft, flavorful and falling apart. The fries were fresh, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. E erything was perfectly seasoned. The maybe disappointing dish I tried was their house made Andes mint ice cream. It was all mint and no chocolate flavor. It reminded me and my friends of mint toothpaste. The taste of mintiness after brushing ones teeth. The texture was a little stringy, almost like Turkish ice cream. I'll definitely pass and try something different next time.
