If I could give 6 stars I would! I am a bagel-which connoisseur and my bacon, egg and cheese on sesame was phenomenal! I mean, truly amazing. The bagel itself was tasty and good quality bagel - I don't eat bagels alone but I would with this one. I love that the egg is also like cooked properly. Some places just microwave them and they get nasty and rubbery - not here. The staff also looks fun, same with the set up and location. I am not a New Yorker. But I have lived around New York. Born in New England lived in Eastern Pennsylvania. I had access to good New York style bagels. My big complaints being out in Washington on Whidbey Island are the food that I miss. We have a bagel maker on island (Whidbey Island Bagel) and they are much better than grocery store bagels but they're not quite right. I was introduced to blazing bagels by a friend five or six years ago, but I don't get to Seattle much. So I was pleasantly surprised to see, having to visit Seattle Children's Hospital, that one of blazing bagels four locations was located right next to my hotel. The customer service was good. I ordered a bakers dozen to go (everything bagels, pumpernickel, snickerdoodle, and orange cranberry). I don't know how well they make a bagel sandwich or how good the coffee is, and I don't care, the bagels themselves are the stars. Bagels are all about texture, chew, and flavor; and these bagels got it. If you've never had a real bagel then you won't care, but if you have and you find yourself in Washington, then you need to go to blazing bagels. read more

I like the large selection of flavors savory and sweet. While we are far from New York and anything close to it, I think Blazing Bagels are some of the best in the Seattle area. They have great sandwich options, breakfast and lunch. They also have a bagel for your pooch. The service was pretty good for how busy they are and the line they have on the weekend. The cheddar bacon chive was great with my avocado slices, and the pumpernickel rye was perfect with my sliced London broil and horseradish. Fantastic bagels. I got the everything with garlic cream cheese and it was the perfect bagel. Great bread texture and no lack of cream cheese. I decry, this place is full of carbs, and just last week, I was requested/asked/spoken to/ordered by my wife to get some bagels, because sometimes you want that in your life. An why would I object? Just because I rarely eat these things, doesn't mean I can't appreciate it. So my find raced, I mean, where am I going to find a good bagel, during a pandemic, when all my local coffee/cafes are all out of service? Suddenly, without question, I swooped the kiddo (aka, my child), dressed her, put a food packed in your face, jumped in the car.. remembered to go back into the house to get the kiddo, then placed her in her car seat, then finally jumped into the car, and drove off. Where I landed was HERE... the bastion of CARBS worth eating. Yes, you would think that there are better places for Bagel goodness, and you might be right, if you were able to get a bagel from NYC or Toronto, and fly yourself back to Seattle, but I can't do that. So here it is.. due to covid, limited people inside the shop, so when I got there, there were people outside under a canopy, and inside spaced far away from each other. I walked right in, with my kiddo in arms, and was immediately greeted by the nice people that followed up with "how are you, what can I do for you?".. I said, "I need bagels. I need it now, and I need 6 darn it." The person said, "Yup, let's do it.". So we started picking from the Wall-o-baskets of bagels. Multigrain...Egg.... Bacon.... Chive... Cheddar... and that was just the flavor options of the bagels themselves. I didn't opt for the brekkie sandwich, but I should have... because they are delicious. So after a few seconds, order in hand, payment via card only, so bring a card, or really there isn't any other option.... and out the door, to the car, with kiddo strapped in... I went home, to give them straightaway to my wife. After I cut, toasted, then applied a liberal slab of cream cheese, and bacon... My wife took a bit, and frickin' MISSION ACCOMPLISHED... I would give it about 3.5 stars if I could. We got a turkey bagel sandwich and that was pretty good. We also got the pastrami sandwich on rye bread but there was NO condiments and NO sauerkraut on it (also no pickle) so it was a good thing we had pickles and mustard at home to add to it. We also got bagels and plain cream cheese. The bagels didn't seem any different than you'd get at any other bagel store. My partner grew up near New York City and he wasn't feeling it either. I ordered the Zoe Zuckerberg and a Chai Tea Latte. Their bagel sandwich was good for the price. The Chai Tea Latte was sweet and tasted was very good. I would definitely get it again. Got it toasted and it wasn't burnt at all. The sausage had a right about of spice to it so that was tasty. Unfortunately the bagels did not seem as fresh as you would think they'd be at 630am (30 minutes after they open). Definitely disappointed. They have one-way in/out so that's nice to keep everyone 6' apart. Main door in from parking lot and door facing counter is out, which wraps back towards the lot. The nice girl that helped me at the Blakely BB recreated my order without charging me. I was impatient and rude and didn't have any cash for a tip. I had a great experience ordering a large order for a work group. You can order for pickup over the phone or online. They were quick and followed covid-guidelines very safely. The Zoe Zuckerman lox bagel sandwich was delicious. The sausage breakfast sandwich was ok. We got an assortment of other bagels which were all pretty good with cream cheese. They have a pretty well thought out COVID protocol with easy to follow entrance and exit and tent outside to wait under if it is raining. They are quick and have a large selection of bagel flavors. As with most places there is the awkward moment at the end of the transaction where you are forced to tell the person working the register what tip you want to give them unless you ordered ahead of time. Their bagel egg and cheese sandwiches are nothing to write home about. They are tasty and fulfill the requirements for a morning sandwich but are basically on the level of Einstein's or any other chain. Walked in and was greeted by no one. A man with green hair who was the cashier was playing on his phone while having his back to me. I waited a few moments, literally every worker in the kitchen saw me standing there and no one told the worker to turn around. I finally said hello to get him to acknowledge me. I was the only customer there at the time and I saw a gentleman earlier was waiting inside for his order while I was in the parking lot. When I asked why, he said it was because of Inslee's order. I knew that this order does not go into affect until midnight and he was pretty much kicking me out. I really didn't understand why, hate to say it, but I hope it wasn't a race thing (I'm Korean). Covid has caused a lot of racial backlash against Asian-Americans. I've been the victim many times before and today, his words/actions felt strongly similar. I completely understand regulations for Covid should be taken seriously, but I would have appreciated him saying exactly that instead of disgustingly demanding across the room, and I quote "I'm gonna have you wait outside!!!" This place provides a parking lot and street parking. They have a tent for people to wait and signage to keep people safe. The people that work there are cool and friendly. I ordered 2 bagels; everything bagel with lox schmear and a ham, egg, and cheese bagel sandwich. The bagels were good not toasted. When I got home I toasted the breakfast sandwich and it was still soft on the inside! I like the variety of bagels offered and it's cool they have treats for dogs, even though I'm not a dog owner. When I went today it was a little past 10 AM and there was a line already. So maybe order then pick up instead of waiting in line. I will try this again if I'm in the area. read more

Tasty bagels with interesting sandwich combinations but with a hefty price. I really didn't find that much to be unique here, very similar to Einstein Bro's menu. While I don't have anything to complain about here other than the inflated price, it's like that at most bagel shops where you end up paying $10-12 for a bagel sandwich. What a train wreck and bad joke of a business. The recent feable showing of 3 unprofessional, lethargic, incompetent, and poor excuses for service industry workers provided the slowest worse service I have recently observed at any blazing bagels or any restaurant all together. Even when they outnumber customers, they seemingly take forever to serve a bagel and cream cheese, and they still were not able to even do that correctly. I think drugged sloths would outperform their staff. They seemed challenged to a point that somebody was asking them to do brain surgery or rocket science, yet all they had to do is make a crappy bagel correctly within a few minutes. They failed miserably. The customer experiences sucks, and I'll do everything I can to buy anywhere, but this business that doesn't seem to be capable of even bare minimum customer service. Non working dogs inside the business are annoying, too. A trip to a zoo is more enjoyable with better ambiance, and the bagels definitely don't taste good enough to transcend the poor value, overall crappinness and deflating feeling of wasting your time going here as a customer.
