Blazing Bagels on Blakely had great customer service. The cashier was new and apologized for not knowing everything, but she did great and was so bubbly and patient. Another one of their employees forgot a bagel sandwich and came running out to catch us before we left. I ordered the Emma Einstein sandwich. (corn beef, Russian dressing, sauerkraut, and Swiss cheese. I subbed the rye bread for a bagel) The corned beef was tender, juicy, flavorful. The sauerkraut was there, but not as much as I would've liked. I would order extra sauerkraut if you enjoy it. My nephew and better half were jealous they didn't get the same after I shared a bite with them. Although they still enjoyed their own bagel sandwiches. Their dining area is spacious and clean. I used their restroom and it too was clean. I was delighted to see that they offer 50% off day old bagels near their exit/entrance There is parking on the opposite side of the building. Furthest away from the gas station that is next door to blazing bagels. Definitely would come back to try other menu items when I come back to visit SEA.

Somebody recommended me this place because I mentioned I missed having NY style bagels so I came here and this is the closest thing to it in Seattle! It was honestly pretty busy for a weekday morning but that shows just how good the bagels are! The cashier was very sweet and knowledgeable about the menu and let me take my time figuring out what I wanted. It's a very chill and casual environment so you can take it to go or eat it there.

Came on a rainy Friday afternoon and it was not busy. I've always driven past this place and decided to give it a shot. I love a good bagel sandwich but this place was just okay. I'm still on the search for a great bagel sandwich in Seattle. I got the bacon, egg, and cheese on a jalapeño cheese bagel. The bagel was quite gummy so maybe the sandwich would have been better on a different flavor. Price is decent and space is a good size. They also have doggie snacks/bagels which is cute. I'd come again to try other sandwiches.

Here we go this place had lox, sold that's all I need to know yummiers, I got the lox bagel with the Asiago cheese bagel , Americano and corned beef , btw they give names to their bagels and you can order it that way which would be the Zoe zucker and the Emma Einstein. The sandwiches are as good it does take some time to make it which probably good, whether is busy or not I hope the quality does get sacrificed as other just to put the product out. The coffee was to me a little bitter even with cream and sugar free, it is curious that they don't have half and half or milk but creamer "pods". The bagels sandwiches was good but I think next time I'll try the tuna sandwich that should be the great equalizer btw this the second bagels place that caters lox

In terms of the bagel and ambiance I'd give it a 5! The place is so fun and plays good music. There's also free parking which is a gem in Seattle. There's so many options it is so fun!! There's a lot of people that do pick up and to go orders but there isn't really a line and the food comes out fast. There's plenty of seating and little outlets for your chargers. The bagel has a lot of flavor and the bacon was really good!!! I'd come back to try more later. It was so filling. I knocked off a start because it is a little pricey. I also ordered a coffee and it was real watered down but it is Blazing BAGELS not Coffee so I can understand it.

Pros: - great portion sizes - free dog bagel - reliable cons: - A bit pricey - Bagel not toasted well

We came here on a weekday morning and they got pretty busy after we ordered around 8 am. The cashier was helpful but the bagels themselves were just fine. We ordered the Bacon, egg, and cheese on everything bagel, the egg and cheese on everything, and a bag of day-old bagels that were pepperoni bagels. The sandwiches were on the dry side since the cheese didn't melt properly. The egg was lukewarm but it was good. Overall the bagels here are on the average side tasting more like bread than the boiled bagels that are crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside -- it is more dry for sure.

Nothing earth-shattering, but an amazing and reliable bagel place. The bagels are soft with a slight chew, and the cream cheese is smooth without any grit. It can get pretty busy during peak hours, so I'd recommend ordering ahead. If you go during off hours, it's usually fine, though they do often sell out of popular bagel flavors. There's a great variety of flavors, from savory to sweet. The breakfast sandwiches are also very good, and the bacon is usually cooked perfectly--not too crunchy or too chewy. If it's nearby and you're craving a bagel, definitely give it a try, but no need to go out of your way for it.

I've been wanting a good bagel sandwich and came across this place next to UVillage. It's a popular place in the area so you have to be patient for your food, but the wait is worth! Build-your-own-bagel sandwich ($14) - YUM!! We both got lox which paired perfectly w the chives or garlic herb cream cheese we got. They have sooo many different bagels and cream cheeses, so you'll be able to take your pick! It is a littleee bit on the pricier end but we both say it's worth bc it kept us full. If you're craving a bagel, it hits the spot!

The cheese is 0% melted. So disappointing. Had to microwave it, but that ruins the bread, of course.
    Cat R.

Ugh, the quality of the making of the sandwiches is extremely variable. Sometimes, they're the best sandwiches ever, other times, they're a mess, or the cheese isn't even melted, like this morning. I wish I hadn't tipped, grrr! It's so stressful to wonder whether it's going to be good or bad, I'm planning to start curing my own corned beef.

lox, capers, red onion and tomato on an everything bagel and cream cheese. Ham and egg sandwich on an Asiago bagel with cheddar cheese.

My particular bagel was a little on the drier side, but even then, it is still a very strong contender for Seattle standards. The bagel itself was smaller than a typical bagel and had some capers and a small amount of cooked (not smoked) mashed up salmon in the center school lunch cafeteria style. The bagel was chewy but lacked any crispiness on the outside. Basic, not generous, amount of cream cheese. The salmon had barely detectable flavor if any, while most of the flavor came from the capers. Overall, I felt a bit like I had been scammed. The chocolate chip cookie was actually pretty good. Not great, but good enough. Note about the service: I walked up to the counter to order and asked if they would bring it out--the person i ordered from said yes--so I tipped accordingly. I took a seat in the main seating area on the patio and poured myself a glass of water from the self service station. After around 20 minutes of waiting and looking inside to see if anyone was coming out i walked in and asked one of the people preparing bagels if someone was going to bring my order out. He looked confused, pointing to a row of bags on the counter, one of which was my order. Now, I tip generously for service, but more often than not i don't tip when I order and pick up my own food at a counter. Again, I felt a bit scammed. There are much better bagel options in Seattle, and certainly ones that don't ask $16 for such an unremarkable one that I had.

A few things to consider: I've never had a bagel on its own here, only a bagel sandwich. So I don't feel as though I can give an expert opinion on the bagels. However, they do work very well for the sandwiches. The everything bagel is absolutely loaded with seasoning, and has an incredible saltiness (I'm a salty man, so this is a good thing). I feel as though this elevates the eggs to a new level. I was immediately drawn to a pastrami breakfast sandwich, because it's a top tier meat. This will feel more like you're eating thin roast beef because of the color, but it's still pretty good. I do think that this sandwich needs some acidity to balance out all of the fat, so grab some hot sauce at the counter. Overall this was a great sandwich, and I would get it again. That being said, I feel like the bagels are lacking due to a fault in a core ingredient. They all come with potatoes, and I think that they're either boiled or not quite roasted enough. Having to deal with undercooked potatoes dispersed throughout a mondo burrito is a battle that I'm unwilling to wage - but people seem to love 'em. The other ingredients and overall flavor is nice, though. Rachel's is a fun place with good coffee, too. And they let me bring my dog in which is dope.
