I got the pork chops with eggs and hash browns. You get 2 decent sized bone-in pork chops. They were well seasoned and juicy. Really good. My son got a pancake from the kid's menu that was shaped like a Mickey Mouse head. It was huge. I got a sausage patty to go with it. This was the only sub-par item as it was dry and lifeless. I feel like it was sitting on the flat top or under a heat lamp for hours. It wasn't worth eating. Other than that, the food we had over all was good. The service was OK. The morning we went, it seemed like there was only 1 server for the entire restaurant. She was taking orders,serving, AND bussing tables. So, the quality of service wasn't the best. She was rushed. You really have to look. Or you will gonna miss turning into it because it's in a very small plaza. There is a sign outside that says Cowboys Café, but you really gotta kind of look for it. This morning, as we were eating there, I was thinking that this place reminds me of an old style truckstop. You walk in and it's a real western flavor. There's a bar seating and booth seating and tables. The walls are decorated with different kinds of rifles and all kinds of different western style decorations, which is really cool. You're always greeted warmly by the staff. The place gets pretty packed at times, especially on Sundays. But we always seem to get a seat. If we wait it's not usually a very long wait and the food is very much worth the wait. I've been slowly working my way through the menu since we've been coming here. I've had the chicken fried steak. I've had the pancakes. I believe we've even stopped in there for lunch and I had a really good cheeseburger. I've also tried the chili. That is very good. This morning I tried the linguiça with eggs and man it was amazing. They have the best home fries anywhere. The coffee is always good and it's strong the way I like it. So if you haven't been in here, you need to get in here and give these guys a try and I guarantee you'll be coming back.

The sauce was the perfect portion for the meal and my food wasn't swimming in sauce. My one critique is that my eggs were a little too well done. I don't like my yolks completely runny, but these had absolutely no run to them. (see accompanying picture). If/when I go back, I'll definitely ask if that is standard and if so, to undercook them a bit so there's a little run to the yolk. Other than that minor detail this plaice is still 10/10. Why you ask. He anticipated our every need, and so we always had water, always had coffee, and he cleared every single time he got near the table. His positive energy is infectious. Yes, I can hear you now, what about the food? My wife can, on occasion, high maintenance, and this was one of those mornings. She ordered the Eggs Benedict without the bottom bread plus one more whole extra Eggs Benedict, and Tennessee didn't flinch. I ordered the vegetarian omelette and I had side breakfast potatoes. The average age of the wait staff was probably 19 which is not a bad thing however they were not trained. We saw our waiter 3 times. He took our order, delivered our food, and took care of the bill. There was only 1 person there over 21 and he had to deliver all of the alcoholic drinks. Oh one other thing that I found odd, nice decor, cloth table covers, and they had paper napkins.
