Just had a wonderful time at the Pink House in beautiful downtown Genoa. Haven't been for quite a while and this was a really lovely surprise. Their menu has expanded as well as their fabulous outdoor seating. The service was too notch from the hostess to our terrific server. The menu was tough to chose from because there were so many yummy choices. Our waitress helped me decide by encouraging me to order the green tomato BLT. With bacon jam! It was delicious. My friend ordered the gluten green pizza with pesto and Buffalo Mozzella. It was ridiculously good! They have a main stage with live music and I highly recommend giving them some love!

It was my first time and I've heard great things! We sat outside with our dogs and it was a nice atmosphere. The music was a touch loud but I let our server know and she turned it down. We shared a couple appetizers and they were excellent, probably best peppers I've had! The Caesar was creative too, I liked their twist on things!!!

I've been wanting to try this place for a while. Went here today. First off, my salad came before my drink. Alcohol drink. Not ok. Weird for me. My salad was mostly purple cabbage, very little fresh arugula and spring mix, ranch, meh. I had to pick out all the cabbage because it was super overwhelming and took over the entire salad. Croutons were not crunchy and weird, only 3 and no crunch, soggy. Not sure what this was. Honestly very disappointed. so then drinks come for the rest of the table. The Bloody Mary was basically vodka and tomato juice and bacon. Really? There should be horse radish and Worcestershire sauce. Bacon does not make a terrible bloody mary good. So we get brunch. pizza, good. Steak and eggs. Nope. My breakfast hamburger was good. We all split the bill. Here's where I am absolutely done. $130 for two people for brunch with two drinks and absolutely not at that price point, not even close. I'm being very critical because this was absolutely highway robbery. Never, ever, visiting this place again. If you charge these prices, it had better be good and it was not. I'm a foodie and I know food and for this price point, go somewhere else for absolutely sure. Absolutely not impressed.

Yummy seasonal roast stew, topped with mashed potatoes and cranberries, at The Pink House.

Had such a good time at The Pink House. Spacious and still cozy, with a homey dining room feel to the different rooms. Very friendly staff--two different people helped us while we dined there, and they were both warm, friendly, and cheerful. My wife had the cacio y pepe, which was surprisingly well paired with tender root vegetables, and I had the seasonal roast, and everything about it was stellar: the mashed potatoes, tender beef, and savory broth. Perfect for a cold winter evening. Also found the pricing to be very reasonable for such excellent food. This was our anniversary dinner, and everything about it was perfect for us. Being less than an hour away from where we are in Reno, I know we'll be back many times in the future.

My family and I had lunch here for my grandmas birthday. We sat on the porch with the heaters on. Very near historic building and nicely landscaped. The waitress was very nice and attentive. I had the Farro Way salad which was delicious. I asked to leave the meat off but wish they had a meatless protein option. Even just a baked tofu would have been delicious in this salad! My aunt who doesn't eat dairy asked for a pizza without the cheese, she loved it and even my grandma (who eats cheese) liked it. They were accommodating and we had a wonderful time together.

Such a cute place in old Genoa! Plenty of seating inside and outside including a fire pit and heated porch for winter weather. The cranberry pot roast was delicious as was the cornbread and pepper spoonfuls. Server was very friendly. Perfect way to end a day at the hot springs!

I've known of this restaurant forever but finally had a chance to grab dinner! Such a cute space inside and out, and while there wasn't live music on the night we were there, the stage is cute. I know the vibe would be fun! Dinner blew me away--you don't expect to find food this good in Genoa, NV. From Pizza to pulled pork to proscuitto wrapped fig newton, everything was wow. Don't play it safe and get a steak. Go for the most interesting things on the menu. They will delight you. The only thing I didn't love was cocktails being served in plastic cups--I get it, but it just felt a little underwhelming served that way. Service was great and patient with our large group of 12.

What a "hidden" gem this place is. Originally found this restaurant during the Genoa candy dance a couple years ago and was so happy that they repurposed it! :) Ambiance is intimate whether you sit in the house, on the deck, or on the patio - so cozy and family oriented. Kid and pet friendly! They have live music with the cutest stage set up and also an outdoor bar, if you'd just like to swing in and grab a drink. The servers are always so nice and friendly. Starters, dinner entrees, and pizzas are offered - all so yummy! The prices of the entrees are reasonably priced. However, some of the starters and pizzas are definitely pricey for what it is. The cheapest pizza they have on the menu is $26. Reservations are recommended, but they do not take same day reservations. You can walk in and may have to wait, but we've never had to wait longer than 10 minutes or so, and if you do, just grab a drink!

    Pretty cocktail.

So the chef walked out the day we decided to dine there. Service was expectedly slow but eventually, our drinks and food arrived and both were really good. Our server was transparent and apologetic and not frazzled. The music and vibes were cool and cant wait to get back.

    Live music on the patio.

Had the crab cake Caesar salad, margarita pizza and a Kettle One martini was very good. I liked the old menu much better and I know change is good but I wish they bring some of the other items back and give more of a variety and not so much directed towards Cajun style. Just a personal preference. Love their outdoor seating, firepit and live music.

Cute location in Genoa. The menu has delicious thin crust pizza selections and tasty salads. Gluten free pizza crust is available. There is indoor seating as well as outdoor seating on the patio and the front porch. Parking is easy to find on the street. Our server was friendly and attentive and even suggested the delicious carrot cake dessert that we devoured. Tips: If you eat here during the summer weekends there's usually Iive music on the patio. This is a dog friendly restaurant. You can sit outdoors with them on the porch or patio. Our server even brought a dog bowl with water and some dog treats. :)

Pink House covered porch live music with heat and blankets on chairs.

One of if not the best hamburger perfectly cooked juicy and tasty! Wow the appetizers were amazing so tasty unique the fig Newton wrapped in prosciutto and the deviled eggs with beet juice so very good and fun. Attentive and quick service water at table and kept checking in even during a busy time. The band was great the whole atmosphere was very enjoyable.

Visiting Lake Tahoe with a quick getaway to meet 9ld friends in Genoa. They mentioned The Pink House for lunch. Great choice! A warm day as we sat on the porch in shade. We all ordered a few cocktails which my margarita was excellent. My two friends ordered a pizza as I had the BLT with added pimento cheese. One of the best BLT's ever! No skimping on the bacon! Fresh bread and the added cheese was delicious. Very reasonable prices and excellent food. Added bonus of Molly our waitress was super funny and attentive. Overall great lunch.

Three of us ordered flights and one of us ordered a glass of wine. The total bill before tip was about $95. For my flight, I asked the server to surprise me with three of her favorites. I had two reds and a white. They were all enjoyable. I think the best option for enjoying wine here is to buy a bottle and share with friends. The flights were fun to try new things, but not the best value. Overall, I enjoyed the vibe of Mayer and the well decorated space. The wine selection is also great for enjoying there or to-go. Service was provided by Brian, one of the owners. Brian provided me professional and timely service. He knew his menu well and was confident in wine suggestions. Today I was in the mood for bubbles. Based on Brian's suggestion, for my 1st glass I had the Markus Huber Rose. It was a beautiful glass of sparkling wine. It was light, fresh, and delicate, with fruit and spice with hints of fresh cherries and berries, and a small taste of citrus. For my 2nd glass, I went a bit more traditional with the Faire La Féte Brut. This glass was very bright, crisp, and lively with notes of lemon and orange. I ended up having the cheese board (I ordered the cheese & charcuterie board but the cheese board came out) and it didn't disappoint. Each cheese was complex and special in their own way, yet the cheeses complemented each other. The cheeses paired beautifully with the Markus Huber Rose. The quince paste was amazing! One suggestion I would have would be to have board labels or a platter layout card for guests to reference to while they are grazing. Overall, this was a wonderful experience with delicious cheeses and beautiful wines in a relaxing environment. I definitely will be returning for another visit soon.

We loved this place so much that we were impressed with ourselves the day that we did NOT make a stop by this bar, and perhaps we even stopped by twice if eating in Genoa. You walk in (by the way, look like a regular, and PUSH the very low doorknob, not pull like I did initially) and immediately know it is dripping with history, divey-ness, and awesomeness. The crowd comes in waves, as it is a popular drop-in for people coming through town as well as many very welcoming and friendly locals. Actually, I want to say again how awesome the regulars were. Not sure how I would feel if constant tourist dropped in my homestead, but everyone we talked to who was local was awesome and inviting. The bar had an IPA for me. They have a pool table. They have a jukebox (which defaulted to glam rock when we were there, so I LOVED that). They have cool merch. They have some awesome stuff on walls and ceiling. They have some fantastic mixed drinks, including one of the better Bloody Mary's my wife has had as well as a unique, tasty hot drink (Hot Buttered Buccaneer Drink). They have a spacious outdoor area. They don't have food, but we had a burger and burger salad (wife) from the food truck there, and it was stellar. The fries were great too. Back to the bar though. And, every bartender who served us during the week gave us friendly, efficient, perfect service. Once we realized that South Tahoe was irritatingly tourist overpopulated at this time of year, we decided to attend this cool candle-lighting tradition they did on NYE there instead of figuring out logistics over the pass. The event was SOOOO cool, and they even had a fun band later that night that they somehow packed into the jukebox corner. Hope I don't forget anyone. Whether you get Syd, Gabby, Candi, Dee, Carrie, or Ginger (the only one I didn't meet personally), you will love your experience here. They were all rock stars during our visits. I can't say enough good things about this bar, it really made "our South Tahoe trip," and you should swing by if in the area. I highly recommend this place, and see you there (the next time we are in the area)...
