I went here for the first and last time. My experience there was good, I really considered this my to go place. The owner she is very nice, and attentive. So here's why I would not go back.... Color product she used on my hair burned my hair. Tge end of my hair ate soooo brittle now. She even applied a hair mask for free on the day of my visit. My hair feels awful n looks vet unhealthy. On top of that I had my first allergic reaction to hair dye here. And to top it off, my head was itchy for like 2 weeks straight, at ones point I wondered if I had lice. I am not too picky nor sure of what I want being a dude and I really cant put myself looking through the magazines (the ones I wanna look at are with the ladies, which in this case don't do me no good). I had always noticed the beautiful hair style and color of one of the ladies working at Vons. I finally asked her where she got her hair done, she told me Sylvia at Bliss Salon. I decided to try her out and I am so glad I did. My hair looks beautiful! I have really thick wavy hair and have found it challenging to find someone to cut my hair with the perfect layers so it doesn't look too poofy and is easy to style. Sylvia did an excellent job! I was weary of writing a review right after my haircut because sometimes the haircut looks good when you walk out the door, but when you go to do it yourself or when it grows our it doesn't look so good. Well it has been a few months and my hair still looks amazing and is easy to style. I love this style it looks good wavy and straight. I am definitely going back to Sylvia for my next hair cut. I had one of my strangest hair experiences here. I bought a group on now deal to get a hair cut and base hair color. I made an appointment and was greeted by a heavy set Mexican woman with long curly black hair. She never introduced herself to me. I wasn't sure if she was an assistant or a hair stylist. She gave me a robe and asked me to take off my top so i won't get color on it. I proceeded to tell her that I was wearing a dress and that is impractical. She told me its fine and I should take off my dress. I did no such thing. RED FLAG. I should have left immediately. I let her cut my hair. It took her all of 5 minutes. She colored my hair and was about to start to blow dry. I asked her if she was going to actually cut my hair and she said she did. She is an absolute joke of a hairstylist. I told her I was done and was leaving. She went to complain to the owner Sylvia that I was unhappy. Sylvia came over and actually gave me my haircut. It was a decent hair cut. Sylvia is the only reason this place is getting any stars at all. She was very nice and concerning. She even threw in a protein treatment at no cost. If you need a haircut and have no where else to go, come here, but only get your services done with Sylvia. She's actually really good. read more

I just don't even know where to begin to try to explain how happy I am with Bliss Hair Studio. I have been to so many salons and I am just never satisfied with how they treat me or how my hair turns out. Bliss Hair Studio is just everything that I have ever looked for in a salon. It is so cute inside and they have the best jewelry and products, but most of all the stylists there are amazing. Silvia Santana is the owner and such a great stylist. She knows her color like the back of her hand and she can cut hair like nobody's business. I really love Bliss Hair Studio because I went in there looking for great color and a great cut, but I was also looking for a way to get longer hair quickly, and to my surprise one of the other stylists there Maria Perez does great extensions! The hair is real human hair and it looks so natural. I am so happy with this salon. One more thing that i am sold on is the keratin straightening that they did on my hair. It is the best! This to keep frizzies away and just to have healthy smooth looking hair. I got a haircut here with Silvia. I have gotten multiple compliments on what a great job she did! She is very accommodating with scheduling an appointment, and her assistant is very helpful as well. Sylvia worked her magic to make that haircut work... and the rest was history. I never went anywhere else from then on.
