We have been coming here for many years. I noticed the reviews and with everything on Yelp most of the time, individuals only take the time to write something negative. I thought I would spend the time to write a positive review. Me and my kids have been coming here for years.... WE Love Moon and she does a great job, yes they do speak a foreign language, but it has never bugged our family. They are usually always busy and we do try to book ahead, but they do try very hard to accommodate walk-ins. It is a bit pricey, as I feel most places are now days. I'm getting older and do not like the rising costs to support the economy but i can-not blame the establishment for that, they are competitive with pricing in their area. i would like to see them offer a discount day or a frequent guest plan. I have taken several friends here also and we all have enjoyed the outcome. I love the massage chairs. read more

New owners! I went in for a mani/pedi and was not disappointed! I was greeted as soon as I walked in and Kelly and Annie were so sweet and pleasant to be around. They took good care of me and we had some laughs along the way. Kelly gave me a dip powder mani and Annie gave me the most relaxing pedi, they take their time and you do not feel rushed. The nail lounge is very clean and the atmosphere was calm. I would recommend making an appt., just in case they are busy. DO NOT COME HERE AT ALL!! I came in and asked for a mani pedi. I was sat quickly by someone who didn't know what they were doing ACCORDING TO THE STAFF, my skin was cut multiple times, she cut my nails completely off and then proceeded to ask me "how long do you want your real nails" AFTER CUTTING THEM OFF!! A woman and her daughter came in AFTER me and they both got their nails AND toes done AT THE SAME TIME while I'm waiting for someone to just START on me. They both were a nail away from finishing before me and I had bare nails. I waited a full 1 hour and 45 minutes before I decided to get up with no polish on because I felt I was purposely not getting serviced for whatever reason. I get up and she then proceeds to tell me $45....$45 FOR WHAT?? WASHING MY FEET??? Hell I couldve done that at home for free. I paid anyway bc I'm not a terrible person and she did WASH my feet. BOTTOM LINE - these people nickel and dime you for everything, the only offer certain services to certain customers, they do terrible work from what I've seen and they're slightly racist...but I'll be taking my black money somewhere else... read more

I have tried this place a few times twice Tina has done my nails no issues she's great, however, I went to get a fill and gel polish and my polish chipped the same day, went in to fix it the next day the same thing, they didn't even bother to apologize. The same lady colored my nails with a new color and once again the same thing so I've come to the conclusion that is her technic she's not careful and can't color the nails the right way. I also had a pedicure and the young guy didn't cut my cuticles or even clean under my nails and he took an hour for a basic pedicure, I don't think I'll be going back I gave them a chance and for them not to even say I'm sorry that's just bad business. BTW they charge way more than the other places in town I paid for my crappy serve $67!! Not worth it. read more

I did not like this salon. I came here after my regular place (solar nails) was too busy and was not impressed. Wasn't offered a drink. Had to ask. My feet were somehow more rough afterwards and I was left with scrub salts all over my legs. I have been here many times with my sister and have always loved the service! Today - a completely different story. I don't believe Moon was here - the very young guy that did my pedicure - I may have been his first ever pedicure. It was not worth a dollar- much less the amount I had to pay! He had really no clue how to trim the skin around the nails, nor how to polish the nails. There was polish all over my skin. The polish was no where near the cuticles- causing the polish to look old and the toes to look in need of a pedicure. NoI went to LA Nails and Spa on May 14, 2019 for a pedicure. The lady working on my pedicure was very nice. She showed me, what she said it was, a hangnail that she had pulled from my toe. Well it was the longest that I had ever seen. I didn't even know I had a hangnail because my toe didn't hurt, it wasn't even sore. Anyway, 2 days later, my toe is sore. By the end of the week, my toe is so painful and swollen that I had to go to my dr. Sure enough, my toe is infected and I'm given antibiotics for 7 days. It's so painful to walk. I go back to the salon and speak to the owner and show her my infected toe, she said sorry then walked away. Well after 7 days of taking the antibiotics, my toe is still infected. I then have to go to a podiatrist. He says that the infection loosened up my nail and he would have to pull my nail off! I am so upset, but it needs to be done. After 2 injections to my toe that made me yell so loud that everyone there heard me, my nail comes off. Doctor said that that it would take up to a year for the nail to grow. So you can just imagine how that looks....I have gone through so much pain after getting a pedicure at this place. She should have never pulled what she thought was a hangnail. And of course, I will never be back! So on one foot, I have 4 polished toenails and one missing toenail read more

I'm very surprised by the negative reviews. I've been coming here about 4 years and I've always had great experiences. I've had waxing, manicures, shellac, and pedicures. Every time, I am pleased with the service and my nails. The ladies are sweet and try to get you in as quickly as possible. I went there last weekend hoping I'd leave with my toes done nice. But that didn't happen, I had on black nail polish before I got there and the nail tech didn't even completely remove the polish before applying the pink I picked out, I tried to tell her to make sure it was all off which she said it was on my skin which it clearly wasn't. Came in for the first time. Asked for a manicure. Easy right? The people inside talk amongst themselves for a min in a language I couldn't understand. They just went on about their business. They never said we will be right with you or give us 10 minutes..nothing. Finally, I assume I should sit. I do. Still nothing. Someone in an apron comes in and aita down. One of the nail ladies brought him some money. He was sitting right next to me. Still no comment about be right with you..nothing. I decide to leave. I have been coming here for at least a year and a half. The gel nail's have gone down hill for the past year. They used to last 3 weeks, usually. The past 4 times I've gone I have had nails chipping in less than 2 weeks . This past Friday I had my nails done . It is now Tuesday and 2 nails have chipped. I went in to get situation fixed and they told me " not now - too busy". I think they water down the polish to extend the usage . They are never too busy to take my money and tip. I really don't like when the techs don't speak English in front of you. My daughter was having a pedicure and the tech tried to upsell a design. When I asked how much and then declined...the tech starts complaining. I may not speak your language but I know you are talking about me from gestures and looks. Very unprofessional! I have been here two times the first time the person that was doing my nails cut me six times to the point of bleeding. They did an OK job on the nails themselves. The second time I was here I asked to get my nails off. I waited for 30 min then finally got seen, I had my hand soaked in the solution for 45 min. Then she took one nail off and another person took her place she did not know what she was doing and couldn't take them off, spent 25 min trying. She finally managed to get one half off but my real nail came with it and tore. I asked someone else to do it but they were too busy closing the place down. So I finally just left BC they had only managed to take one nail off and tear my real nail. I'm never coming here again. I would recommend someplace else for everyone. They suck. read more

I am a Nail Tech(not licensed in Texas) and I know what to look for in a Nail Salon. When L.A. nails opened I loved this place. I only get pedicures and have nail art applied. The last few times I have been have been a disappointed. I did allow one time to get a full set from someone else other than myself. I was passed off and then the tips were not applied correctly. I stopped the process immediately! I have since been there twice and I have seen others being serviced by NON-licensed people, even if they are removing nail polish they have to be licensed. The salon is dirty and all they have cared about is getting people in and out like cattle. I am waiting to see what their score is from the Cosmetology & Licensing bureau. read more

I've been going here for 6 years and the first time I ask for a refund I am told no one can help me. All I wanted was to remove the polish and refund me due to it cracking after two hours. They ended up soaking off the shelack and telling me to leave while it was soaking off. I called and talked to Moon and she told me No way because I liked it. Of course I liked the design, however the product that they used sucked. Now I am left to soak off the rest of the product and repair the damage to my natural nails and have to pay extra for someone else to repair. read more
