Wow what can I say first, it's embarrassing to be from the same country as you but not share the same value and professionalism when it comes to customer service. The first time, let's just say they didn't say nice things about me as I came late to the appointment, which I apologize for and no one had an issue. The tech got the next customer and I took the next available tech. The second time, they sub another tech without letting me know ahead of time and/or ask if that was OK!? The results: 3 days later my nails looked like it's already 2!weeks grown out. She left so much space from the cuticle! The third and last (sworn to myself), tech was 20' late to my appointment, checked on her texts 3 times, took 2 phone calls. 10 min into doing my feet, she told the tech next to her, my feet was horrific (kinh khủng). I was so embarrassed and angry at the same time. I'm sorry I did not know I should have prepare my feet perfect for the manicure. Yes I am Vietnamese and understood all of your bad talks about customers and me! I bit my tongue to say anything back. Why? Because I was too nice to say anything back. Because I didn't want to make a scene and awkwardness sitting for the rest of the time to complete my nails. Each time I always make an appointment, and choose different techs that have the highest reviews. And each time I was not happy with customer service nor the results of my nails. First off let me start off by saying the staff here is very friendly and accommodating too walk in appointments. I am a licensed cosmetologist of 10yrs, I came in with my nails freshly cut buffed nipped etc I booked a mani/pedi but pretty much just wanted my nails polished as I'd already done all the pre-work of these services. I am on day 6 of this manicure, and I am horrified I will never come back to this business Mani/pedi are the bread and butter of the Nail industry and to have your work falling apart before you even hit a week of having them done. The last person was so new she kept cutting my skin with the drill and ended up drilling my big toe nail so thin that it split by the end of the day. Bliss nail salon is close to my home in Tigard. It has the best reviews for the Tigard area, nail salons, but it provides nothing but disappointment with every visit. I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt time after time, but they continue to let me down. You can make an appointment time, but don't expect that Bliss salon to be dependable. They always except walkins to stylists who have appointments, making your appointment 30 minutes late. But if you were to run late, you get canceled right away. I often will make made an appointment and that my nail tech is busy with somebody else.... shifting my appointment to a less skilled tech of an incomparable quality. Today 7/25 I showed up to Bliss salon on time. I told the front desk girl I an appointment with Linda Le, and they said that Stylist was busy and they offered me a different stylist. They said that because I didn't state I requested a tech in comments when I booked my appointment online ( and specifically selected Linda Le, that means I don't get to have Linda today. They offered me a different tech. I explained their unprofessionalism and left. That was the last time into their poorly run business. I will pursue a professional nail salon that has higher standards, or any professional standards for that matter. If you wear acrylics this is the place you need to go to. Not only are they clean, professional, and friendly but I have never had nails last as long as the ones I've gotten done here. So far I've booked with mostly Jackie and Nilly but I'm sure their entire staff is just as lovely. Jackie has been able to create any design I've asked for and is so incredibly sweet and talented. Needless to say I will not be going anywhere else to get my nails done and that's saying a lot because I drive about 30 min to get there. Love this place. read more

I'm from Florida and I was looking for a top notch nail salon in the Portland suburbs and I wanted to give Bliss a try due the their reviews. Unfortunately, based on my standard Bliss is a fraud. Nothing high end or top notch about the cleanliness or service. When I walked in it seemed promising but the second my pedicure began it was bad. The woman barely wanted to touch my feet, BS cuticle cutting, BS massage, BS gel polish. And I got a deluxe pedicure for $57! Next the terrible manicure...the girl rushed, got polish all over my hands ( and didn't not clean off), my nails are so short, uneven paint around my cuticles, and fraying dead skin. Towards the end of the manicure I know she could sense my frustration but did not care, she did even less. I went to this salon because my daughter got me a gift certificate for a pedicure. It was for 35 dollars. Before going I read many positive A+ reviews and was excited, it sounded great! Got there. Don't think anyone said hello. Asked me what I wanted (I believe this was the owner Lilly). Go pick a color she said. Never offered water. I looked around, saw color displays and tried to find a color that I liked. When I showed it to my nail tech she said "oh no. Those aren't the gel colors." Well no one told me where they were. Started over. My tech was extremely sweet. But she kept taking her glasses on and off. I was worried she couldn't see well. She was elderly as I am myself. She did a lousy job. Left polish on toes, one big toe isn't even filed straight across, polished too far from the cuticle, days later it looks like I need a refill. Then got charged $50. I gave her a good tip too. The service was definitely not worth the price. Have to search for a new place. I won't go back there. read more

I will never come back here again. I went in for a Gel X set. A simple short almond shaped french tip. First of all the lady butchered my cuticles off. She yanked on my arm like I was made of elastic and cut and burned me with the drill multiple times. I asked her to trim my regular nail before adding anything and she told me no and wouldn't do it. When I called an made the appointment they said it would be $65 for the almond french tip. At the end she charged me $70 and said it would $5 extra for the length and french tip. I get to the register and they tell me $72 and i was like where'd the extra $2 come from and they both looked at each other smiled and said that's what she wrote... I was like "okay fine..." and paid. but she did awful didn't listen to what i wanted and wasn't transparent about the price ahead of time. I am not sure why the would charge for a short length?! I didn't get any design or anything. She didn't let me wash the dust off my hands at the end of filing and she painted right over the dust. She also didn't bother to clean up underneath the tip. I left with dust and powder sticking to my fingers. When I put my nails under the lamp I could see all of the dust on my nails. I could also see all of the germs floating under the light in the lamp. This use to be a nice and reasonably priced place. It has definitely gone to shit. They want to get you in and out they don't about how you feel or what you want. It does not feel clean at all. The table was dirty from the previous person when I sat down I figured they would clean it. They never did. I even asked she planned on doing that and she ignored me. A guy came and sat down while she was doing my nails. They were talking i could feel them looking at me during their conversation and laughing. This place is so disgusting. I recommend anyone to stay for away and probably call a health an inspector from the state. Also I would like to add that the owner replying to this comment won't change how I feel about this experience either. I don't give a sh!t about some lame excuses and "apologies" they wouldn't have to come up with those poorly written words if they just did their jobs correctly in the 1st place. I regret not reading other reviews before going in. Maybe focus on saving your businesses and making changes instead of trying to cover up your mistakes with these shitty responses you've left on every bad review. Even with an appointment, we waited over 30 minutes to be seated. Their pedicures are the best in town and the chairs are super comfortable. However, I also requested a manicure, which I never got, and a new acrylic nail set with a special design ($60.) They were so bad, crooked and way too long (even after requesting they be fixed). I ended up going to another nail salon closer to my house to get them fixed properly the next day. I would come back here for pedicures but will go somewhere else for acrylic nails. read more

Firstly, I only use acrylic nails, and had to listen to a sales pitch on how much better gel nails are; secondly, the man who did my nails, changed my choice of nail polish to a gel polish, without my knowledge/consent: thirdly, the polish bubbled and peeled, on 3 nails, within FOUR days, fourthly, regular nail polish had no effect when I had TO CORRECT the paint job, AT HOME; I had to FILE the coats of paint off my nails, revealing how sore my cuticles were from this same visit. . . I am unconcerned with the PERSONAL opinions of nail techs, since that is NOT what I PAY THEM FOR! I do not pay service people my hard-earned cash (and ample tips) to change/"correct" my INFORMED decisions! I vehemently disagree with nail techs behaving like they have a medical degree; the are technicians, nothing more!
