I asked for a rounded haircut with lots of layers and face-framing pieces and I showed her my inspo photos as well. She first washed my hair and then got started on the cut. Yessenia did an amazing job! She was friendly and professional and gave me exactly what I requested. I wasn't sure whether to go with lighter or heavier curtain bangs/face-framing pieces, and she knew exactly what would suit me when she suggested sticking with lighter face framing. She also somehow managed to style my frizzy Indian hair perfectly without using much tension on the brush, which was shocking to me. I didn't know what to expect since I've never gotten a perm before but the hair stylist was Yoko and she was so kind and patient. She helped getting me situated where we discussed what type of perm I wanted. She shampooed my hair and that off the bat was so relaxing and set the tone of my experience. We had a great conversations as she prepared my hair - while doing the perm I was given some nice Korean coffee and was asked if I was comfortable while the perm was setting it. Yoko provided me Instructions on how to maintain the perm and also provided me products to help maintain my hair. She doesn't like to take any new clients without an initial consultation. This way she saves you time. She is very honest about if the digital perm will be a good fit for your hair type or not.
