I texted Stacy on a Sunday and I was able to get in for a free consultation with the hour. Stacy was very nice and honest about my hair process. I was able to make an appointment to get my hair done the following week. During the whole process she explained what she was doing to my hair. My hair was black and we went portion highlights. Found this salon while doing an errand. Walked in without an appointment. Jessie, the hair stylist, asked what style I prefer. Let me tell you that I have a very long hair. He asked me to have seat. He surveyed my hair. He recommended to have my hair washed. So I was escorted to the hair wash station. A young lady, who is at this station gave my head of hair a wash like I was VIP costumer. It's felt like I was at a Spa. After my hair was washed, Jessie comb my hair in parts and started to cut and trim my long hair. He too treated me like a VIP. He cut and trimmed my hair and gave it a texture so that it would give body to my hair. All in all, I was very satisfied and would return to this hair salon. I would rate it a 10/10 read more

Warning: Avoid Stacy for Haircuts! I recently had a terrible experience with Stacy. Despite showing her the exact length I wanted and explicitly asking not to cut too short, she went ahead and chopped off way too much! When I pointed it out, she got defensive and aggressive. I wish the length was my only concern, but unfortunately, the layers she did are completely uneven--a total disaster. Looks like I cut my own hair out of depression. Stacy claims to have over 20 years of experience, but trust me, she has no idea what she's doing when it comes to haircuts. Consider this a warning to think twice before going to her. 5/5 for the service, environment, and results haircut: $60 highlights + cut + hair oil= $350 My mom and I decided to give S Pearl a try since it's walking distance from our house and we wanted a new hairstyle for the New Years. We didn't know much or what to expect, but we are very satisfied with the results. We went in without an appointment, but good thing she accepted us because one of her customers cancelled their 2:00 appointment, so make sure that you schedule ahead of time. Stacy is the only one working and doing her customer's hair which i admire and applaud, because it is hard work to handle a lot of customers on your own. Even though it was busy, she still kept a good attitude while working. I told her I wasn't sure if i wanted a full head of blue or partial blonde highlights, so she suggested that I just do blue partial highlights instead, to make it easier and less damaging (this is my very first time getting my hair dyed professionally at a salon). She always made sure that I was comfortable about my choice and double checked if i'm 100% about my decision, which was comforting in a way. Usually, the hairdressers i go to don't double check with me if that's the cut i wanted, but Stacy did. She really wants to make sure her customers are happy with the results and they're comfortable throughout the whole process. The highlights and hair dye took about 3 hours and i was getting a bit hungry and thirsty, so Stacy suggested to get me 7Leaves!!! I was surprised that she offered to get it for me, because i've never experienced this service anywhere else. She really exceeded my expectations on the hair and the service. Once she finished with her work, I was extremely happy and thanked her for being so patient with me, because it was already past 6:30 which is her closing time. S Pearl is now my go to salon since it's convenient from where i live, but most importantly because of Stacy.
