Bacon, egg, and cheese with added tomato on a rosemary sea salt bagel.

I got the bacon, egg, and cheese with tomato added on the rosemary sea salt bagel. 10/10 Staff was super friendly and answered all my questions about the options without the slightest hint of frustration. It's a nice older building, clean inside, and plenty of seating if you aren't getting it to go. I enjoyed the music selection playing while I ate too. Overall a super good local spot for bagels!

Cozy neighborhood spot with great bagels and coffee Stopped by Bloom Bistro & Grocery for breakfast and loved the relaxed, local vibe. Good service here. I wasn't sure what "schmear" meant at first, but it turns out to be cream cheese--either plain or flavored. I chose the rosemary sea salt bagel with a spinach & artichoke schmear, and it was delicious. My husband went for one of the breakfast bagel sandwiches, which was also tasty and satisfying. The Simple Drop coffee was smooth and a great match with the bagels. There were small kids playing around and even a friendly dog stopping by--definitely gives the place a cozy, welcoming, local feel. Lots of natural light, local art on the walls, and a laid-back atmosphere. A perfect start to the day in Georgetown!

Have been wanting to stop by for awhile and finally made it on Father's Day to pick breakfast and coffee for dad. Also grabbed a half dozen. Cheerful space that is in Deep Sea Sugar and Salts previous location. Chairs outside and tables inside. I got our order to go. Ordered a breakfast sandwich for dad with sausage on an everything. I went with a toasted bagel asked the staff taking my order which was their favorite of the spreads and they said either the caramelized onion or lemon thyme shmear. I was already leaning towards the lemon thyme so I asked which bagel they thought would pair well with it and they suggested the poppyseed. Perfect combo!! Thoroughly enjoyed it and would highly recommend that shmear. Dad ate his breakfast sandwich all up so must have been delicious. Picked up an iced latte for dad and an espresso tonic for myself. Always appreciate seeing an espresso tonic on a menu so refreshing when it's warm out. Excited to try the rosemary sea-salt bagel included in my half dozen.

Cute small neighborhood café with great bagels and amazing vibes. I came on a drizzly Thursday morning, so it was pretty quiet. There is limited seating, and I can imagine it fills up quickly during busier hours. They offer a nice variety of beverages, both non-alcoholic and alcoholic, along with small snacks, condiments, and knickknacks. I was a little disappointed that they do not offer any sweet bagels, though I understand the demand may not be as high. My bagel was a bit chewier than I prefer, but texture is subjective. I also wish they had asked whether I wanted it toasted, since I usually prefer my cream cheese bagels untoasted. Overall, it is a very charming spot and it seems like they are still relatively new

I can't stop recommending this place -- it's quickly become one of my go-to spots for a great bagel, especially when I'm craving a lox bagel! The staff are friendly & the atmosphere is warm and inviting, with cozy vibes that hit you the moment you walk in. Whene I'm craving a quality bagel, this is always where I go.

I've been searching for a good east coast bagel in Seattle and I think I may have finally found something close. The bagels have the perfect amount of chew to it, but if ordering the sandwiches in store, best to ask them to toast it more or else it's tooo chewy to eat easily. Got a sesame and everything bagel this time but will be back to try more! Service was great! They also have a small amount of groceries and pantry items for sale. And they have coffee. Great one stop shop addition to the Georgetown area.

Very fun to welcome Bloom to the neighborhood! I have been here twice. A standout was the rosemary sea salt bagel with plain cream cheese. Seems like they are still working out their operations so be patient! We experienced longer wait times (20+ min) and multiple drink orders getting messed up. They tend to be out of items so definitely come earlier in the day and be flexible.

Garlic onion bagel with honey siracha smear add tomato

A little neighborhood cafe, spacious interior, friendly staff and delicious food. Popped in for a quick bite- hard to choose too since everything sounded good. I opted for the garlic onion bagel with honey siracha smear and added slice tomatoes (they have the goooood tomatoes). Bagel was super crispy but still soft, onion and garlic was crispy, tons and tons of smear that was just a touch spicy, tomatoes could use a smidge of salt but overall super delicious. Will 100% come back.

Tofu and vegan cheese, pretty good.

Tried a sesame bagel with tofu and vegan cheese. This was pretty good and would get this again. Some vegan cream cheese and pickled veggies on this would take this flavor up a notch. Need to try some other bagel flavors next time.

carnival day special (subbed portabellos for bacon bits and it was delicious!)

first deep sea sugar and now bloom! in the blink of an eye people will notice a change but it brings something new to the neighborhood! this unassuming green two storey building seems to make any business that occupies it a WINNER! that's not to say it's all about the structure! the respective owners (past and present) clearly put forth huge effort and investment in their creativity, quality ingredients and hiring; you may not find cake at this cross street anymore (that's now a couple blocks further east on airport way) but the bagels and service six feet inside the door are top notch! on georgetown carnival morning i stopped in and managed to place my order just ahead of a rush. three plain bagels to go as well as their special sandwich of the day which i asked to include one substitution: i got zero kick back on swapping the bacon bits for portabellos and it was so beautiful when i went to eat it with the sprouts, ricotta and roasted beets!! i'm excited to try the other bagel flavors i purchased and to see how they hold up for a day or two wrapped in their paper bag. the revamped interior has 3-4 small tables and a shelf with additional items for sale including bagged coffee beans. there's a coffee menu and a very welcoming vibe. i can only wonder how long it'll be before lines will be back in front of the shopfront. my car was used to driving here for slices of layer cake and now it's not at all going to be disappointed to head in the same direction for bagels and beverages on the weekends!

I recommend getting the fried rice with grilled chicken after ordering, our drinks came almost instantly, which shocked me because most restaurants take 5-10 minutes just for your drinks . As we were eating, a waiter gave us napkins without even asking him, now that is taking care of customers I am definitely coming back here again

For it being less than half an hour before closing, it was packed inside, with two sections of seating for various group sizes, and a casually loud interior with a counter full of water jugs and glass cups in front of a nice plant backdrop with the name of this place in lights. Menu serves a ton of Asian fusion dishes along with some regular entrees and a ton of cocktails and wine. From my sis's recommendation when she went, I got myself the banh mi smash burger after deciding between that and the Pho-rench dip my brother-in-law had. My friend got himself the La Vong fish sandwich, which I didn't get to try though we both did split an order of honey sriracha Brussel sprouts. - For the banh mi smash burger, think of ALL the essential ingredients of a standard banh mi sandwich; then put in a regular beef patty, throw in lemongrass beef as the other meat and add provolone cheese as a complement to the pate-mayo spread. That's what this is in a nutshell, and it tastes exactly like a banh mi sandwich as a result, only in burger form. This was an absolute hit and win for me; beef patty was juicy, condiments were fresh, lemongrass beef was equally as juicy, and the side of fries made this a very filling dish! - I normally don't like Brussel sprouts because of their similar taste profile to asparagus, but I ate a ton of the honey sriracha Brussel sprouts from here. It's sweet and tangy, both of which mask the oddly earthy and bitter tones of regular Brussel sprouts. They're also roasted which further gets rid of that bitter taste I don't enjoy. We rushed a little eating since they were close to closing but we loved everything we got here! I should start keeping a list of places like this one for places I need to make a second and even third visit to for their other dishes.

In the back there is a huge mural of Dolly Parton, Anthony Bourdain, and a tiny Bob Ross in the style of American Gothic. The walls are covered with trinkets from the 80s and 90s like Homies and California Raisin figurines and KISS Pez dispensers. The food: Smashwich - A really good breakfast sandwich. The hash browns give it some added crunch that is surprising but welcome. Chicken in a Biscuit - The biscuit and chicken taste great. It's a bit hard to eat because of how large of a bite it is and how firm the components are. Vanilla Cream Shokupan Doughnut - The donut portion is tasty and there is a ton of whipped cream on this. The cream is quite heavy though and leaves a fatty mouthfeel. Wish this was a lighter cream that's fresh filled into the pastry, but that's another prep step before serving. Overall, really fun place in terms of the decor, music and interesting twists on food. Oodles of nostalgia is always a positive in my book.
