Beautiful spot overlooking the harbor with service and food to match. Fresh local ingredients Gould definitely recommend.

Definitely a good place for crab with a view. They also have a nice assortment of other seafood. Some nice regional wines, too. Attentive service.

This is located inside the Coast hotel. The host was very friendly but our waiter seemed brief. The crab was good and I enjoyed the tools they have. The chicken was ok. Nothing to write home about. We also enjoyed a glass of wine which was pretty good. The view from the table was lovely and the ocean is always nice to see. The price was about $150 CA including tip.

Food, service, atmosphere and harbor views were excellent. We were celebrating my 71st birthday and had crab cakes and grilled octopus appetizers, Alaskan King crab legs and whole Dungeness crab entree with lemon tart for dessert. Mike, our waiter, made it an excellent night for us.

We are staying next door at the Worldmark so we decided this was a great place for an appetizer and cocktail. We were right. We had a beautiful view of the harbor and our server (I didn't get her name) made sure we were well taken care of. I had a Bloody Mary, my husband had an old fashioned. Loved my drink but hubby's had a bit too much simple syrup. We shared a delicious shrimp cocktail with a blood orange cocktail sauce that had just the right amount of that wonderful citrus flavor. We returned for dinner when our first choice had no mussels (boo). I wasn't a huge fan of the red sauce, but they were still delicious. My husband loved the scallop crudo. It was fresh and looked beautiful. And for the first time ever, they brought me a finger bowl! We stopped by this morning for a quick breakfast because we knew a huge high tea was coming up. I had a big, flaky croissant and husband had a sausage and egg breakfast that looked amazing and must have tasted great because he cleaned his plate. So yum!

Another one for the exclusive 5-star club. Located inside the APA hotel, it's a rather dim lighted place with an excellent view of the harbour. The view alone is worth dining here, but the food here puts it over the top. My family ordered the following: Crab Cakes - Excellent and they did not skimp out on the greens! Steamer Pot - About what you expect for a seafood medley. Broth was on the light side. Garlic toast was a nice touch. Calamari - VERY good. I now have a love for humboldt squid! Seafood Chowder - Interesting cream soup taste. The seafood was plentiful as well. Alaskan Snow Crab - Can never go wrong with it! Note that it's not predone at all, so you get the full authentic taste. Hopefully you know how to take it apart piece by piece. Service was excellent throughout, despite serving us 30 minutes later than our scheduled reservation. Well worth the wait though!

The food was delicious and I personally like the Seafood. The service was great. The ambiance is a restaurant inside a hotel. The view from where I Sat for my breakfast was amazing.

FOOD Tomahawk Steak ($196) You need to wait 45 minutes but if you and 2-3 friends can wait, it's tender and worth it! Side: Brussels Sprouts ($13) Interesting how they serve just the leaves here (no stems). I found the cheese topping a little too much but some others at our table enjoyed them. Side: Sautéed Mushrooms ($14) They were good, but the portion size was underwhelming as everyone at the table noticed. Calamari ($22) A good appetizer to share; this was something we would all do again/ Lobster Seafood Feast ($194) Clams, mussels, salmon, shrimp, scallops, crab cakes, and of course, a lobster to booth - it's likely best shared between 4 people, but it's pretty good (see picture)! It came with potatoes and vegetables which were cooked well. Caesar Salad ($18) Shareable between 2 people, this was tasty. Kid's Meal - Grilled Cheese Sandwich ($14.50) It may be a little disappointing considering the price (drink is still optional) but they did use thick-slice Texas Toast and the fries were from fresh potatoes. Missouri Buttercake ($15.50) The good folks of Missouri are lucky to enjoy this tasty treat! === 3. SERVICE We had a lady from Ireland serve us and she was fantastic and patient with our large group and my little one! === 4. ENVIRONMENT It's a little on the dark side like all steakhouses and a little cramped in that I would not bring our baby stroller in here unless we really had to. Wheelchair's may or may not ingress not fit easily. Beyond that, the envvironment what clean and not unlike many darker-toned steakhouses around the continent. Parking is the big challenge - during tourist season in Victoria, you may be hard-pressed to find a street spot or decently priced parking garage in downtown Victoria!

Right at the door, they told us we'd be "needing to wait." We waited over 30 minutes before finally being seated. Once seated, another 20 minutes passed with no water and no acknowledgment from staff. It felt like we'd been placed in the restaurant's awkward introvert corner. Finally, a disrespectful waitress acknowledged us, took our drink orders, and then we waited another 20-30 minutes just for a simple glass of milk for our 10-year-old. By then, the kid was already eyeing the exit. Our waitress approached with the warmth and enthusiasm of a DMV employee on a Monday morning. Her attitude was dismissive and condescending from the start--acting like our presence was an imposition on her perfect day. We ordered: my partner chose the Wild Mushroom Agnolotti, I went for the Aura 6 oz Beef Striploin and a Margherita, and our child ordered a cheeseburger. Thirty minutes later, with our hungry and restless child losing patience, I politely asked for an update. The waitress responded with a condescending tone, "This isn't a fast food joint." I immediately asked to speak to the manager, who, to their credit, handled it professionally and did their best to de-escalate. The food finally arrived--and surprisingly, it was really good. The steak was solid, the agnolotti hit the mark, the burger kept the kid happy, and the Margherita was decent. After that, we had minimal interaction with our server, which honestly was a relief. The food was the bright spot amid an otherwise miserable experience. The slow, disorganized service, her snarky attitude, and the feeling that we were treated like second-class citizens the moment we arrived with a child left a terrible taste that no steak could remove. The high prices only made the disappointment sting more. I will never recommend Aura Waterfront to anyone visiting Victoria, BC. If you're traveling with kids, especially, steer clear--you'll be treated as an inconvenience rather than a valued guest. Save your money and sanity for somewhere that actually appreciates your business.

We called around and other places didn't have any spots open until after 9pm so we booked on Open Table easily a few hours before. From the moment we arrived everything was great. Hostess was courteous and seated us quickly. Our server was friendly and prompt and checked on us regularly to make sure everything was great. We ordered oysters, double smash burger,Seafood Tagiatelle, Laksa and the Steamed Mussels and Clams with fries. Everything was awesome but the oysters stole the show. The next day, while my wife and oldest and youngest were out on a bike tour, I stopped back at Ferris' with my middle since she was sick and we did takeout for her the night before (extra Laksa). We sat at the bar and order three half dozen oysters and tucked it up with Will the bartender and the rest of the staff as it was happy hour and not too busy. I asked questions about Canadian musicians and we played a game of guess the Canadian artist on Spotify. Again, the oysters were wonderful and the beers were the perfect company to wash down the briny mollusks. We left to meet up with the rest of the family. Upon hearing of our exploits back at Ferris' we all decided to head back to catch the end of happy hour and have dinner. Well five more dozen oysters, chowder, beers later, we finally had our fill and happily rolled out of there and back to our hotel.
