I only reached out once after that week passed because I hadn't heard back. When they responded, they gave me an incomplete quote but estimated 14 to 16 hours of labor. This was a huge jump from the 4 to 6 hours another shop quoted me. In fact, that other shop had actually recommended me to come here. I wasn't being confrontational--I just pointed out the difference because I wanted clarity. Instead of explaining, I was told, "You're welcome to go back to that shop." That response felt really dismissive and unprofessional. I don't think I should have to follow up again, especially after paying for a service. That said, Eddie, the owner, seemed like a nice guy and definitely charismatic. I just wish the rest of the communication matched that same level of professionalism.

Quick and honest service!…read more I sent a message on Yelp requesting a quote for an oil change. They responded very quickly, priced fairly, and even provided time slots they had open, so I headed to the shop that same Saturday. When I arrived, they quickly directed me to pull in to start the service. It seems like I had just sat down when they called me back out to show me the the underside of the van. They wanted to know where I'd done the prior oil changes since whoever did them had stripped the tread on the pan from tightening the bolt too tight. I could clearly see that what they were saying was true and the pan had no tread and had been leaking oil this whole time. There really would be no way to do the oil change without also changing the pan. I asked how much that replacement would cost, and told them to go ahead complete the repair along with the oil change. This is my mom's mini van that I was going to drive back down to LA, so definitely wanted to ensure I was safe. I was told it would take 2-3 hours, but was quickly out in about 1.5. They even provided a discount when I paid since the repair was unexpected and fast, which I really appreciate. They pointed out some other concerns, but did not force any repairs on me, which I am grateful for. Will definitely be coming back for any future oil changes and repairs.
