Cute art work welcomes you. The service here is quick and efficient. It is a seat your self place and there was quite a line to get in on Labor Day morning. The restaurant is dark- there are ceiling lights with dark blue shades which look lovely but the room is just too dark. Our meals were ok. Served hot and quick. The hash brown were done but not brown just kind of anemic. Eggs were perfectly cooked-the sunny side yolks had the liquid sunshine you'd expect. The bacon was crisp without crumbling and the sausage had the kind of flavor you're looking for at breakfast. A bit of disclosure here -I am a pancake aficionado so had to try theirs. We ordered blueberry pancakes and each got a large cake. The was thick, tough, and lacked flavor-the highlight was the fresh blueberries. We only ate the bites with the berries. We'll skip the pancake next time.

This will be one of my favorite places when I am up this way visiting!! I don't even know where to start. A nice local business that I bet is popping on the weekends! We stopped to get some breakfast on our way to the lake. I LOVE omelets! I was surprised that I had to choose between 1 egg, 2 egg or 3 egg. I chose a 2 egg cause I was hungry but not starving. Good Lord..next time I'm getting a 1 egg one. It was DELICIOUS!!! I ate and ate and ate and still had half of my breakfast left. It was perfect in every way tho! We got corned beef hash too...definately plenty to share too! The coffee was hot and perfect. The staff was friendly and attentive! We had a great meal. Thank you Blue Goose folks!! I appreciate the hospitality!

First breakfast on vacation and it did not disappoint! We only did take out from here since we had a busy morning but it was perfect.

Food was what you'd expect for breakfast at a local diner. Service was a little lacking, but the place was busy.

Service is spot on. Food comes out of the kitchen incredibly fast even when all tables are full. It's a great diner for a quick breakfast!

It is first, first serve but we found around 7 pm, the bar was empty. If you don't mind this, I highly recommend for last minute planning. When we were seated, the bartenders were pleasant and helpful. The service was quick. We ordered the aged cheddar pierogis for the appetizer which was a good start for two people. They were fried so you are staying clear of fried foods--I would skip this dish (it wasn't listed as fried). The cocktails and food was amazing. We ate all of our food but it wasn't too much where you felt sick. I would come back to this restaurant again if I am in the area.

First of all, the drive to Fennville is gorgeous! We always love the rural landscape and the quaint town itself. Definitely a destination to visit. Second, the building itself is cute, rustic, inviting, and well-kept right in the heart of Fennville's adorable downtown. Third, the staff are so welcoming, kind, helpful, and professional. We especially loved our hostess (Chrissie/Christy?). She treated us so well and definitely talked us into some yummy extras Now to the food and drinks! The extensive cocktail, wine, and beer selection is high quality and specially curated. I had a hard time deciding, but I settled on the Sage Rub. It was so delicious and refreshing; not too sweet. I highly recommend it! My husband got the Bell's Hazy IPA, one of his favorites! We started with the Brussels sprouts and the bread board. The Brussels were decadent, crisp, and flavorful! The bread was such a rich array of tasty breads and butter/salt/pepper sides. We loved every bite! I got the house salad and my husband got the special. We each preferred our own salads, so that's good! I loved the house salad because of the light and refreshing vinegarette . The flavors were spot on. My husband liked that the special salad brought together a bunch of different flavors into a sweet/tangy delight! For our main entrees, both my husband and I were eying the Three Little Pigs pizza. He ended up getting and let me have a bite: so flavorful with high quality meats, cheese, and ingredients overall. So good! I got the Housemade pasta with beef tenderloin, charred onions, and mushroom sauce. It was literally divine and I cherished each and every bite. We would have loved to get dessert, but we were stuffed! Maybe next time? Prices are great, the space is clean/safe, and the portions are excellent. And you can make reservations through their website beforehand. Very clutch, especially since it is a good drive from most towns. If you are nearby and have the time, please make Salt of the Earth a part of your dinning experience. I promise that your taste buds will be very thankful. See you next time, Salt if the E

It was the first weekend after their off-season and the only people working were the husband-and-wife owners (she serves, he cooks). They handled our big group with such ease and kindness- it was seriously impressive. The service was wonderful, the food came out hot and fresh, and everyone in our group loved their meals. But I have to call out the biscuits and gravy... they were to die for. The biscuits were moist, clearly homemade, and the sausage gravy was hearty and perfectly spiced. I reheated my leftovers the next day and somehow they were just as good out of the microwave, which says everything about how well they're made. I live in Muskegon but will happily drive back to South Haven just for those biscuits and gravy. Creekside Kitchen is a gem, and I can't recommend it enough.
