The workers were also friendly and helpful. It was my first time in St. Louis and at the Foundry, and it was my only ordered meal in the city (short trip). So glad it was this satisfying. My only "complaint" is that small bones hide a bit in the food, but just be careful while eating and you're fine.

The seasoning was fine on the jerk chicken although I've had juicer and tastier jerk chicken elsewhere. But I had a problem when I discovered they only gave me one little chicken leg, (that was slightly dried out) along with three pieces of chicken back meat which was like three small pieces, almost morsels. However, the two sides that came with the jerk chicken that were rice & beans along with boiled cabbage tasted good and plentiful so I didn't leave hungry but I'd still say the amount of chicken left me wanting more. I won't likely be going back to this place especially with so many quality dining choices at the foundry. The foundry building is very cool and my server at the counter was okay as well. But although the food tasted decent I wasn't floored by anything about this restaurateur at the foundry STL.

But it's all good and we all smile through. Took my brother Sunday night while he was in town cause he lives in a less diverse area and craves city access to all the thing. As soon as he said let's get Jamaican I began craving a meat pie. Have mercy I love them! They ain't playing with the spice either so I keep drinks handy. Ended up ordering one meat pie and a bowl of the soup of the day. It was red bean soup he said. But wow the depth of flavors and textures, it should get a better name! Love it and happily ate it all! The meat pie took longer of course to come out and they weren't kidding it was hot! Loved it and shared a tiny bite (cut off) with bro whose eyebrows lifted in joy. He had the jerk chicken plate and ate every dang bit! I have had wings, goat curry, jerk chicken, curry chicken, rum punch and lots more on other visits and had always left happy & full. The folks who work here are good folks and enjoy seeing others enjoy the food they prepare. On nice days there are a few tables out front, good to sit there except at rush hour cause you are next to the street. They do a lot of to go service so you will see a steady stream of folks in and out.

It's in a strip mall and they offer valet parking $10, I was able to self park without any issues finding parking - but I heard it can be super busy. Very cute place. They have a couple spots for photo opps, bar area and several tv's for catching a game etc. Our server was very friendly and helpful. The catfish and grits were so delicious! The flavor was amazing. My cousins had the lamb chops - omg they were so delicious- the seasoning was incredible! The whole place has such a great vibe - they had some music playing which can be a little loud. I recommend going to check out Bliss and enjoying a fabulous meal.

I came Sunday for brunch and it appears the menus are different. What you see online is different than what they offer as far as the drinks. No bottomless mimosas, just a tower for $70. The service was very slow and I was upset that it took forever to receive a mimosa tower. Over 40 minutes. We canceled and ordered different drinks. So frustrating that I won't go too deep into it. The food was so good. I'd return because of the food and ambiance. The DJ was on point. We also had a large party so maybe next time, I'll come with a group of 4 or less. They charge gratuity no matter what. I still gave a little more but whatever. I hope the serve will be better next time cause everything else was fire.

I suggest to order one of their salsitas with them. My favorite is the avocado ranch. Cuban sandwich is a must and if it's your first time here I think you need to order this. They get their bread from a bakery in Tampa so it has an authentic Cuban sandwich taste and texture. My last time in I ordered the Arroz con Pollo, really enjoyed the rice is spiced or cooked in a broth that makes it very delicious. Lechón asado is also a favorite. Ropa vieja the two times we've gotten has been a little dry for our taste. Mojitos are also delicious and it's fun to end the meal with a Cuban coffee.

We arrived around 5:30 on a Friday night, were seated right away, and our food came out surprisingly quickly. There were only a few tables occupied when we arrived, but by the time we left, the restaurant was packed with only one table still open! We started with the empanadas and tried the beef & cheese and chorizo. The beef & cheese empanadas were amazing -- perfectly crispy and crunchy on the outside with a delicious filling. The chorizo wasn't our favorite because it was very greasy, and unfortunately the grease overpowered most of the other flavors. We also tried the Tostones Salsosos, which were good and much larger than we expected! For our entrées, we ordered the Tampa Cuban sandwich with yucca, and we were blown away by the size of the sandwich! It was massive, flavorful, and definitely a generous portion. The yucca on the side was good as well. But the ropa vieja was the star of the show! Every bite was packed with flavor and absolutely delicious. We added a side of Congri rice, which was also incredibly flavorful and robust and paired perfectly with it. Overall, we had a great experience. Quick service, generous portions, authentic Cuban flavors, and several dishes we would absolutely order again. The ropa vieja and beef & cheese empanadas are must-tries!
