My wife and I stopped in for a late breakfast while out running errands. The place is larger than it appears from the road. The restaurant was clean and stylish. We were seated quickly, and the waitress was friendly and polite. Food came quick and was great. Rye bread was thick and tasted just right, eggs were cooked perfectly, sausage was very good and the hash browns were very tasty. Breakfast for two for under $20. My sister and I went here for her birthday lunch. It was far more crowded than we'd anticipated, but I never saw anyone waiting longer than 5 minutes for a table. Bussing seemed incredibly efficient even compared to some of the major chain restaurants I've been to (looking at you, Olive Garden). Their menu is incredibly diverse- we went with the"Handhelds" section, which denotes sandwiches, wraps, etc. I will say that their flatbread selection looked divine! I was stuck between a few choices, and when I asked the friendly waitress which one she thought was best, she asked "do you care about calories", and then laughed after I said no and recommended the "Three Little Pigs", a savory mass of bacon, ham, and smoked brisket atop a soft pretzel roll. The runny egg on top, though, was by far the hero of the dish. The waitress was very surprised that I cleaned my plate-but how could you not! (Just use a fork and knife and make sure you have plenty of napkins)! All in all, amazing, totally worth the hype, and can't wait to go again! If you're looking for good food for an affordable price, this is the spot. I stopped in for Breakfast around noon thinking it wouldn't be so busy or a long wait, but it was packed. There wasn't a long wait though, we were seated pretty quickly. They offer different combo meals for breakfast at a very fair price and the portions are huge. I ordered the Southbound. This hearty breakfast came with 2 eggs, 2 biscuits, smothered in sausage gravy and you get a choice or hash browns or home fries for $7.99. Everything was delicious!! Real big on flavor. The French toast was amazing!!! It had to be Texas toast because it was thick and just right. This experience reignited my love of French toast. I have ate at the Blue Ridge Grill several time, both for breakfast and dinner. For dinner, I had their Fried Fish dinner...I highly recommend it. There breakfast is very good as well, but the reason for 4 stars, was for the waitress. I don't know if she was having a bad morning or what, but my order was all wrong and my bacon was under cooked. I mentioned this as I left and the Manger was very nice and apologetic. She comped that part of the ticket even though I said I would pay for as I did eat everything but the bacon, however she insisted and took it off. read more

We've came in a large group and they've graciously accommodated us on a short notice. I did come here for dinner once and I wasn't impressed. Blue Ridge is my favorite low key restaurant in Rochester. I've been for both breakfast and lunch / dinner many times and have never had a bad meal. Highly recommend the banana foster french toast for breakfast. I typically share it, because it's very sweet - but so delicious. For lunch / dinner, you have to get the quesadillas, even if just as an appetizer. They are the best I've EVER had. I always get it without the jalapenos because I don't like things to spicy. Services has always been good. Know that you will have to typically wait for breakfast. read more

I was told about this place . First of parking lot was busy . Dropped wife off get in door get seats as myself and kids park car. Not a rookie lol found my keys on ground that luckily belonged to the car next to me.I was tempted to take it for a drive but didn't . Put the keys back on the roof of the car. Place is busy in 9-11 an hour frame weekdays . Can only imagine weekends. Service wasn't bad considering how busy it was. Stopped in here for breakfast and, boy, did we leave full. I ordered the Crab Cake Benny and my fiancé ordered one of their sandwiches. For the Benny, the crab cake was crispy and delicious. The hollandaise sauce was yummy but the dill was a little much. My egg was cooked perfectly, which is everything to me because I am so picky. My fiancé's sandwich was so yummy. The tomato on the sandwich was cooked perfectly and didn't cause the sandwich to be watery. The bacon was great too! My finacé and I split the Banana's Foster French Toast. So delicious, but very sweet so pace yourself. The staff were friendly and great. And it has a wonderful dinner atmosphere. read more

Based on reviews we decided to have brunch here. Originally we wanted crab cakes Benedict but were told they stopped poaching eggs at noon and it was we'll past noon but we could order this plate with other eggs instead of poached. My husband had this with scrambled eggs and I had crab cake omelette. You could taste the crab in every bite. My omelette also had spinach. The helpings are large so we decided that next time we will split this item. Yes it looks like nothing special on the outside but inside is clean, friendly, comfortable, and good looking diner. The food is not good. The service is even worse. So disappointed in our food last night. The side salad had brown and unwashed lettuce. The special of "prime rib" was really just a bad cut of steak that they were passing off as prime rib. Because when we ordered and first said prime rib the sever said "we don't have that" oh yeah mean the special we are out of prime rib for the entree. It was requested to be medium rare and came medium/medium well. The server was rude, inattentive and poorly trained.
