Broccoli casserole was good, crab legs standard. My chicken wings was a little undercooked with pink in the middle but the rest of the entries make up for it. The ambience isn't the greatest for introverts. There seems to be heavy criticism about this place, but not having your favorite salad dressing is a 1st world problem. Lighten up. Great for $40. 4 Stars.

The buffet spread is pretty small compared to other buffets, and aside from the desserts, nothing really stood out. I tried to make the most of the all-you-can-eat crab, but the legs were watery and tough to get meat out of. The "sushi" options were limited (only two) and tasted stale, same with the shrimp & mussels. Basically any seafood or main meat dish had that "sitting out too long" flavor, and even the salad toppings tasted stale, which is never a great sign. The dessert station was the highlight.. much more variety, fresher, and genuinely tasty. That said, it was oddly set up with many items behind glass, requiring staff assistance, while everything else is self-serve. The ice cream station could also use more topping options. On a positive note, the service was great - friendly & attentive. Overall, while the discount and service are nice, I couldn't find a main course that would bring me back. Probably a one-and-done for me.

This is essentially an upscale food court with at least 20 options for different types of food. There is an upstairs seating area as well as fewer seating options downstairs. There is a bar in the middle of the downstairs area and a dance floor as well. When I went on a Friday night, there was a social dancing event going on. It looked like a lot of fun, but it was very loud and hard to have conversation. So, this is a good option for a night when you're feeling lively and just want to have a bite or a drink, but probably not the best place for intimate conversation. Located in a strip mall area, this place is pretty deceptive from the exterior. Inside, you have an upbeat, extensive showcase of local food options with a dash of local culture. The murals inside are really impressive and I received pleasant service. Overall, I would definitely go back... mostly to see what it's like during the lunch rush.

This place is so UNDERRATED! Such a peaceful atmosphere, consistent food, and chill staff; I can't…read morebelieve that Washoe Public House isn't getting the hype it deserves! The eating area is very spacious and commodious. Though this place has a casual vibe, the presentation of the food is totally fine-dining material. Each dish, especially the Citrus glazed salmon, is served as a piece of art. I've been here around three times before I installed yelp, and am excited to finally leave a review. The short rib, was absolutely amazing. The short rib was so tender, and each brussels sprout was a literal flavor bomb. The brussels sprouts I've had at other places have flavor only on the exterior, whereas the brussels sprouts here play a different game. The short rib is served in a really big portion. Though it may look dark from the photos, there are actually three big pieces. I loved loved loved the sauce; there's a sweet tangy taste to it, though it reminded me a lot of BBQ sauce. This short rib was a win. Chefs kiss. The truffle lasagna was terrific; so much sauce in between the lasagna layers. I could absolutely make out the truffle flavor in this dish. However, I recommend eating this dish quickly, as the lasagna stiffens really quickly. Thirty minutes after it was served, I went it to take another bite, and it wasn't as good anymore. The ceasar salad +beef is a great choice for a light but filling meal when you're currently on a healthy diet. Each dish here comes in giant portions, but even after you finish this salad, it won't feel too heavy on your body. I think it's because Washoe is really light on the dressing levels; perfecting the amount so it doesn't overtake the fresh flavor of the greens or leave the salad bland and insipid. However, the beef was a bit too well done and on the firmer side. The first time coming here, I was totally shocked to find out that the food they served did not match the relaxed and informal vibe the setting sets up. Not a bad thing at all. Creates a laid-back vibe while still getting high quality food.

Our most recent visit was dinner to celebrate our 47th wedding anniversary. It still maintains it's casual atmosphere. The entrance has shifted to the Ridge Street side of the building. A good decision. It always felt a bit cramped to check in in the bar area especially when they are busy. Dining area is now mostly in the back room. While the setting is casual, the food is upscale - including the burgers. They offer game meats, elk, kangaroo, venison, and wild boar, in addition to high end beef and a small selection of seafood. They also have a few vegetarian/vegan options. I had the Citrus Glazed Salmon with root vegetables and squash. It was very good. The salmon was fresh and and flaky and perfectly cooked. My husband had the Rock Candy Short Rib. He deemed it "acceptable" Mine was paired with a light dry Savengon Blanc. Service was good and our satisfaction was checked. I debated between a 4 or 5 star experience - I decided on 5 mostly due to the quality of the meal. Return visit? Yes.

OK, to go back to my room it is... when I got to the room and saw the receipt, they still charged me $2.99 for it to go order. Who charges for food to go? I'm doing them a favor by not taking up space in their restaurant. I ordered the Chilaquiles, and overall, they were very good. They came with Yellow & blue corn tortilla chips, house-made chorizo, refried beans, 2 eggs any style, pico de gallo, queso fresco, and ranchero sauce. I was surprised at the heaviness of the bag. I get it up to my room, and the portion was very large. Overall, it was good. The chips were not soggy, I liked the flavor of the chorizo, and it was tender. The beans were not gummy at all, the pico and the ranchero sauce gave it a bit of a "kick", but well within what I like for spicy. The queso fresco was a bit tangy, and helped offset the richness of the rest of the meal. They blew it on the eggs. I love it when the yolk drips down into my food. I was worried that they would "hammer" the over easy eggs, so I asked for sunny side up. Guess what? No yolk whatsoever. They popped the yolks. How in the. H-E- double hockey sticks do you screw up a sunny side up egg? Overall, though the rest of the food was amazingly good. The Price was a little bit on the higher end, but for what I got, very reasonable. (except for that stupid to go charge...) I also like the fact that they are open 24 hours a day. I will be back. Thank you.

It was our 1st time eating there however it had been on our list for some time. We started with the PULL-APART GARLIC CHEESE BREAD which is Focaccia, mozzarella, marinara, parmesan, frico crust and also ordered the WOOD FIRED OCTOPUS with crispy gnocchi, tomatoes, red onion, basil, arugula and topped with a Calabrian chili aioli. Both were fantastic, seasoned nicely and cooked to a perfect temperature!! For our entree we hate the BEE STING pizza. Make with a 72 Hour Fermented Organic Dough topped with Salami, red onion, basil, serranos, mozzarella and honey. The crust was delicious, crunchy, thin and when combined with the sauce, seasoning and toppings, an excellent pizza. Additionally we ordered two of the in-house, housemaid pasta. The ARRABBIATA , a roasted red pepper campanelle, with Calabrese sausage, garlic, chilis, broccolini and topped with Parmesan, pecorino. The other pasta we tried was the BLACK SPAGHETTI, mixed with clams, scallops, shrimp, hot chopped peppers, white wine, butter and lemon. It was fantastic!! Cooked al dente and packed with flavor. Overall it was a very pleasant experience. The service was great, food was yummy and we definitely look forward to going back again soon!

The cauliflower was one of my favorites, roasted perfectly with great flavor, Fondue was creamy, hot and delicious, meatballs were super moist and bursting with flavor. I enjoyed the bee sting pizza, hot and sweet, and I love the combination. When I go back it will definitely be pizza, salad and cauliflower. The sever was a sweet young man. He was attentive to our needs and patient with all our questions. The restaurant is a good size, the bar area was busy and filled with conversation and laughter, the booths looked cozy, we chose a table near windows for outside lighting. The outside tables looked great for getting some warmth and fresh air. Many options and different settings. Sorry, I forgot to take pics.
