We haven't seen her for over a year and what better play to see her and dance to our favorite band New Wave Crave! New Wave Crave has phenomenal band members each with their own unique talent! The Reno Public Market offers a great space to spend time and find some good food. Each restaurant varies in price and service. My only concern is the bathrooms were extremely dirty, there was feces smeared on one of the bathroom stalls. read more

Upon entering, I noticed how clean it was. Tables were bussed and wiped down making it easy to find a place to sit. Lots of diverse food options and it all smelled so good! We got pork and beef soup dumplings that were really tasty and did not burn our mouths when we bit into them so that was fantastic. We got tankatsu ramen and the broth was one of the best I've ever tasted. But the meat pieces and noodles were disappointing. We got the quesabirria tacos and the flavor on those were fantastic...plus they weren't greasy which I really appreciated. And it came with the consume which also had really good flavor. Overall, this place is now in my top 3 all time favorites for a good quesabirria taco. My 2 complaints are that I wasn't able to order any kind of taco à la cart so I couldn't try more flavors/meats and the quesabirria option didn't come with a drink but the other taco options did. read more

Thus place is a gem for the local community beautiful inside, all local vendors, and a wonderful space to explore with a group. The variety alone makes it a must-visit, and the community events and large, clean dining area are definite highlights. For that, I'd give the local support and atmosphere a 10 out of 10. That said, I think there's real opportunity to make this place even better for visitors and for the vendors who call it home. The turnover of businesses coming and going is noticeable, and it makes me wonder whether the cost of participation is sustainable for smaller operations. It would be wonderful to see more support structures in place to help local businesses thrive long-term here because when vendors succeed, the whole experience improves for everyone. A few small operational tweaks could go a long way. Shared basics like utensils, condiments, and drink lids would reduce friction and make the dining experience feel more seamless especially at this price point. Centralized supply sharing between vendors seems like a natural fit for a space like this. Free refills or a self-serve drink station would also be a welcome touch. Pay for specialty cups or refill discounts for the reusable cups. The 2nd floor feels like untapped potential more vendor options or seating activations up there could really elevate the whole space. Maybe a kids play area or a little indoor garden. Maybe th3 coffee shop should be there with some book and trinkets for people to hangout in. Some boardgames even or corn hole. At the price point, these are reasonable expectations, and I genuinely hope management takes them as the encouragement they're meant to be. This place has everything it needs to be truly exceptional it just needs a few refinements to make it as worthwhile for vendors and visitors alike as it deserves to be. read more

We went to the World Cup viewing party that Reno Pro Soccer put together at RPM. We loved going to the 1868 games when they were around, and the atmosphere here brought back all those old memories. The atmosphere is also very family friendly, so a perfect place to bring the entire family. The bar, Honey, had a fun seasonal menu, so naturally I had to try a Say Less cocktail. The blend of peach orange blossom Ketel One vodka with cantaloupe, lemon and bubbles. It was refreshing and hit the balance between not too sweet and not too sour. My daughter had a classic cosmopolitan which she swore was generously poured. The bartenders were friendly and made us laugh when they carded my daughter and couldn't believe that kids born in 2005 were turning 21 this year. For dinner, we enjoyed Salvadoran cuisine from Los Cipotes. Three pupusas were stuffed with melted cheese and beans. The filling was pillowed in between a thick, savory dough. It was served with salsa roja and a side of curtido (a crunchy fermented cabbage and carrot slaw). Service was fast even though it was crazy busy. The only minor issue was that with this big a crowd, we were very hot, so maybe an adjustment needs to be made in air conditioning for larger crowds. read more

What a vibe!!!!! I didn't know what to expect! It's an indoor area with seating, a stage, all sorts of food, desserts, bars, breweries, clothing exchanges, antique style items, ... cool vibe!! Wow! What an experience. So much to take in and hard to describe in simple words. You have to see it to experience it properly. This is essentially an upscale food court with at least 20 options for different types of food. There is an upstairs seating area as well as fewer seating options downstairs. There is a bar in the middle of the downstairs area and a dance floor as well. When I went on a Friday night, there was a social dancing event going on. It looked like a lot of fun, but it was very loud and hard to have conversation. So, this is a good option for a night when you're feeling lively and just want to have a bite or a drink, but probably not the best place for intimate conversation. Located in a strip mall area, this place is pretty deceptive from the exterior. Inside, you have an upbeat, extensive showcase of local food options with a dash of local culture. The murals inside are really impressive and I received pleasant service. Overall, I would definitely go back... mostly to see what it's like during the lunch rush. read more

I went there on Thursday evening with my son, and there were lots of people enjoying their meals. There were many restaurants from all over the world. We were in the mood for dessert this time, so I had a yogurt soft cream at the Honey Treat Yogurt. I could choose three kinds of fruit as toppings, and it was healthy and delicious. I heard a new Japanese restaurant opened on June 1st, and I'm really curious about it, so I'd like to try the sushi next time. There are also vintage clothing stores and gift shops, and it seems there's live music on weekends, so I think you can enjoy yourself all day long. With the setup, I can see this place being very loud if live music was being played. Not a lot of restaurants (when compared to the food mall is Carlsbad or Vancouver BC). When you can't decide on a place to meet, or to eat, Reno Public Market is the perfect solution! With all sorts of different food options, a central bar, and other shops connected throughout, it's the perfect location for a lunch date, dinner with friends, or just a shopping trip. I've been here several times over the few years it's been open, attending concerts, eating lunch and dinner, or meeting friends for drinks. I've always had a great time and love the overall space. The food choices range from a great burger spot, to Gyros, Mexican, Asian Noodles, more options than you will ever need. It's nice open seating throughout, with an upper level and even an outdoor eating area. The Honeybar in the center is a nice full bar with several drafts and a full service bar. While it would be nice to order both food and drinks together, the bar is separate but you can bring food up after ordering. The employees keep it clean, all the tables and seating was organized and cleaned off on my last visit. The food vendors are all friendly and it's really easy to order from those you want to purchase from and roam around the market. The concert venue is great, even for a bigger show I felt there was ample space and the sound is great. Bathrooms were also not an issue either during a show, which I found to be a pleasant surprise. RPM is one of the best locations in Reno for all of the above, and I'm really happy with what they did to revitalize Shoppers Square. Been here several times and haven't had a bad experience. Today's trip was to play RnB Bingo with Moayala. This is a new regular event that is taking place every other wednesday. Game cards are $1 each and there are 5 cards. Money goes to charity. Typically there is more than one winner a card with lots of prizes to choose from. This is a family friendly event. I'd recommend to get there early as seats do fill up fast. As for the venue, in general you must come here with a lot of patience. While the food at each place I have visited is good, the time it takes to get the food ordered is a long wait for most of them. Since the places are small in space, there is typically only 2 people working (one takes orders and the other cooks). My family and I took a trip to Reno and decided to stop by the Public Market Place. It was our first time there and it just so happened to also be their 3 year anniversary. It was pretty busy. Maybe because it was their 3 year anniversary's which would make sense. But it was also Saturday football. They have so many food options and so many cute little vendors. I love their antiques store. Since it was their 3 year anniversary, a lot of the food places were giving out free samples. Everything we sampled was delicious. They also had a pretty big bar to sit, eat, drink and watch the game and plenty of tables to sit down and eat. It's definitely a place where you and friends or family can come and just have a few drinks, eat and watch the game for sure. Will definitely have to come back and try the rest of the food next time we're in the Reno area. read more

One of the biggest fails in this little city. I know there was an idea to make this a community gathering space but the high prices, lack of an anchor business to bring people in and very odd and not well thought out policies, make this a niche destination for tourists and folk that like to waste money. For specifics there is one dumb policy where they will kick everyone out before a live show to make sure only ticket holders can get back in. If you miss the signs, you can expect to order 60 dollars in drinks, 120 on food then within 5 to 10 min, being told to leave. Ridiculous. I have literally walked through this place to maybe get lunch and am so appalled at the prices to what is basically a shopping mall food court, that I just go next door to Sprouts instead. read more

We had so much fun Saturday night with Down the Rabbit Hole playing their great dance music! The dance floor is spacious and the sound was great. The bartenders were very responsive and the drinks were reasonably priced. We had 14 people and everyone found some food the enjoyed. For over a year, we have been looking to try this place. We moved to Spanish Springs a few years ago and we don't have many options like this. The first thing we hit was a local coffee place and picked up two mochas. They were fairly priced and enjoyable. Second, we had straight for Junkee. This place is one of our favorite Midtown stores. From retro fashion to costumes this is a cool place. You should check out. We decided to grab a snack and checked out the Mediterranean place which had fairly priced food. We picked up some hummus, pita and vegetables with some french fries for a kids to snack on. We did not get a chance to check out the other establishments or enjoy the bar, but our kids enjoyed the family time to dance on the dance floor before the salsa lessons happen. Avoid this place, especially during large events. The food is overpriced, the portions are small, and the quality doesn't justify the cost. The bigger issue is the overall environment. It is not a family-friendly atmosphere when events are taking place. The venue is very poorly managed, multiple fights can break out, people throw drinks, and security has little to no control over the situation. It feels chaotic, and some people have already been seriously hurt when the crowds get large. There are plenty of better places in Reno to spend your time and money. I won't be coming back, and I wouldn't recommend bringing your family here during any major event. read more

I Love this place, I am someone who craves a bunch of different foods and I love that they have so many mixed options! I really love these bao bun tacos from noodle station and this chocolate espresso martini I had was one of the best espresso martinis I've ever tried! It was so good and I highly recommended if you're an espresso martini lover like myself! This place has so many good food, drink and dessert options and they have a junkees store inside as well, which is a fun antique and clothing exchange store with lots of neat things! We came here on a Friday night and there was a performance by a group of hip hop dancers. A bit loud for me but all the kids there loved it! The grand girls had Dopo pizza, one cheese and one pepperoni. Both were hot and tasty! No leftovers! The son in law got Mediterranean Bae... chicken pita with tzatziki sauce and onion. He loved it but said not quite enough chicken. It was quite messy to eat! I had chicken tenders and fries from ChickaBoom. Tender chicken in a really good breading. The fries were so good! I think this is a really cool spot to check out in reno. definitely worth a visit instead of being rip off by the casinos.... there is a junkie place. i found that to be particularly interesting as they have some interesting old "junk" 12 inch vinyl record and comic books and action figures... in my head... hmmmm interesting.... do they buy??? anyways, I tried a couple spots in here. it was definitely refreshing to have normal prices instead of casino rip offs... got 2 beer at the bar and it was $15 cash with tip. i think it was 11 for 2 beers. also got a personal pizza and ate at the bar. too bad it was monday afternoon. upstairs was all closed. there were a few other stalls that seem interesting. this is definitely a spot worth checking out! read more
