I recently scheduled a last minute mommy daughter pedicure with Mai and was blown away by such amazing service! She was so gentle and patient with my 7 year old and helped her match the perfect sparkle for her yellow toesies Finally it was mommy's turn and I chose the Cosmopolitan pedicure service which includes a complimentary drink...yum! I was pampered with the most relaxing massage along with hot stones and paraffin dip. Mai really had to use some elbow grease to soften up my cracked and dry heels, doing a fantastic job, and also gave me some tips on how to keep those cracks at bay. I showed her a pic of a design I wanted, a nude color on my big toes with a rainbow colored sun and a sunny yellow on my little toe digits. Mai selected the perfect colors to make my toe dreams come true and I just love how they turned out The ambiance of the salon is so elegant and peaceful with fancy white buttoned chairs, fluffy pillows, and gorgeous pendant lights above each chair. There was some fun K-pop playing on each of the two tvs whereas I probably would have preferred some calming spa music but not a big deal. Prices were pretty on point for most other salons I've been to and with Mai doing such a wonderful job I had zero problems shelling out the moolah. My pedi was $58 plus $12 for gel and I believe $10 for the design and my daughters pedi was $25. I am so happy with everything and I'm excited to have finally found a salon to enjoy on a regular basis as I've been searching for the perfect spot for years now! Received a message from the owner, which I appreciate, responding mostly to my comments abt cleanliness and not abt the poor work done on my nails or the sur-charge for coffin. I'm just stating my experience. The tools came out of a plastic tool container and went back in after. I did not see them go into a sterilization process or come out of one. The tips for the nail grinder machine for acrylics were pulled from a drawer and tossed back in, I saw no cleaning. They may do so, I just didn't see it. Also, I was in there with a customer who didn't sign the COVID waiver or wear a mask. She was across the room from me, but I'm disabled and at higher risk. I felt uncomfortable since the reason I chose this salon was for cleanliness and the COVID protocols. I might go back but I'd definitely schedule an appt with the person who is an expert at acrylics. I've seen some of the other reviews with lower rating and they *seem* to be the same person. The staff was all very sweet. read more

Great service, COVID protocols in place and is very safe for customers. First time getting a pedicure after 8 months and even though I sadly left my old nail shop, this was actually worth the break up haha. I made my appointment the day before , received confirmation via text. When I got there I signed a COVID waiver and had my temperature checked. I went to my pedicure chair which was clean and ready for me. They have a range of pedicures you can get, I went with the Mai Tai with the Vitamin C treatment, they also give you a book full of beautiful colors to choose from. Let me just say my feet feel amazing and the lady who did my pedicure was very thorough, and my feet looked perfect ! Can't wait to come back again, it's refreshing to know there are nail salons who practice safety for their clients during this time. I called this salon at 2pm on a Thursday inquiring about a basic pedicure and gel manicure, and set an appointment for that afternoon at 4:30 after my work day. When I walked inside and was greeted, I told them I have the 4:30 appointment, and they asked me to sit for one second. After 2 or 3 minutes the only two individuals working there, said the wait would be 20-30 minutes. I did not have time to wait that long, otherwise I would have made my appointment later. I get that they take walk ins, but that should not interfere with booked appointments, very unprofessional. I was hoping to like this place, since its location is very close by. Thankfully I was able to visit a salon down the street who accepted me as a walk in, sat me in 5 minutes and did a very beautiful manicure. I would recommend Lucky nails and Spa just down the street. Beautiful nail salon! Was greeted with warmth and smiles. I was visiting from out of town for my son's basketball tournament with time to spare. I was treated like a queen. I don't usually like the massage chairs so these big white chairs were perfect for me and they're beautiful. They're options are great for any person and preferences. They have a men's pedicure for $30. The men's pedi and mani is called "Jack n' Coke". My boyfriend loved it. COVID Safety was great. I'm really sad to write this because I thought this was the best salon I've ever been too and have been a loyal customer for a year but I'm so shocked what happened to me at my visit today. I booked online requesting a quick sip pedicure with gel and an acrylic fill manicure and according to the prices on their website my pedicure should have been $12 and my fill $20 so when I checked out and was told my total was $90 I was really shocked and confused. When I sat down for my pedicure I reminded the man I wanted a basic pedicure at least twice but apparently he got me to get an upgrade Mai thai by asking if I wanted lavender scent. Very sneaky! I thought he was just asking my preferred lotion scent or something, I had no idea this was his way of upgrading my pedicure from $12 to $38! So even with that math (38-90) I was still way overcharged for my manicure too. $52 for a fill is insane...I've only ever been charged $15-20 for a fill at other salons. Plus I left each of them a $5 tip. Ellie was nice and did a beautiful job, my toes look nice too, and this salon is always clean so that's why I give 2 stars for this experience instead of 1 or none if I could. Something should be done about these prices, they need to be more transparent by being consistent with their menu prices and have them displayed inside. I'm really disappointed and stressed out after my experience here and going to the nail salon shouldn't be this way. They did nothing to make me feel better or lower the price and I felt like I had to make a scene to be understood so I just paid and left. They always listen to what I tell them I want which is great since I am extremely picky about my nails. I got a groupon and decided to get my nails done sonce I've only gotten them done once before. The place is nice and clean and very comfortable. I have a nice sweet lady to do my nails and all around had a nice conversation with her. I felt a little odd when she took me to a section that had, I'm guess, a venting unit to dry my hands. I was told to but my hands on the granite slab and she walked away. There was no aor and np ot heating light so I'm still puzzled on how it dried my nails. She comes back and tells me that they should be dry in 5 minutes. I was left alone to sit there. After what felt way longer than 5 mins I asked her if it was time yet and which she said yes. Normally when I pass by a nail salon there is a place where they take the money or the technician will walk you out so you can give them a tip. I didnt know where to go so I had to walk up to her and ask if I was done she just sat there and said yes so I just gave her her tip there. It felt very odd as I was walking out. Normally I would give this place more stars because I only had one other experience to go on, but my nails started to chip after a day. I haven't had a pedicure since before the pandemic so I'm happy that my first experience in over 15 months was a good one, especially since this was my first time at Prive. I had booked a same-day appointment for a pedicure with Tracy on their website and the process was very seamless. Per their yelp page, you can also do a walk-in which is good to know if I randomly decide to get my nails done at the last minute. It was great to see they still implemented COVID precautions with masks and barriers at the manicure stations. They even have a hand washing station. It wasn't super packed when I got there, so it was easy to maintain social distancing as well. They have several options for pedicures which include different features like scrubs, paraffin, scents, etc. I opted for the mai tai with a sea salt soak, nail cut and cuticle trim, lemon scent scrub, hot towel rub, and moisturizing massage. They have plenty of colors to choose from and you have the option of getting regular polish or upgrading to gel for an extra fee. Tracy was very thorough throughout the pedicure, and I felt like she was not rough at all (considering all the love my feet needed since the pandemic started, this was much appreciated lol). Also appreciated that she asked me the length i wanted my toe nails, how the water temp felt. She was also very friendly and made sure that I was comfortable and relaxed during my pedicure. My feet feel great and I love the way they came out! I also like that they have a drying section for toenails because some other places send me off with my sandals after a few mins without drying. I went yesterday after finding a Groupon deal for $35 for GEL MANICURE and REGULAR PEDICURE. IT WAS AMAZING! The nail salon is elegantly decorated in all white, they are very clean and never reuse pumas stones/nail file/tub liners/gloves worn by technician and they toss when their done! They speak very good English and don't speak to each other in Vietnamese (other salons do and you feel like they talk about you, but not here). My nails are naturally short and I've never been able to get a good manicure BUT this place did! The pedicure comes with a organic salt scrub AND ALL THEIR PRODUCTS INCLUDING LOTION IS ORGANIC! I highly recommend this place! They have been open for two months and the salon is kind of hard to spot, but their right next to the Blue Oaks Movie Theater (closer to subway parking lot)...check them out, you won't be disappointed! read more
