They did not have a diagram in their report showing where their samples were taken , and their report was riddled with errors. Phone calls and emails did not produce results. The bad reviews were correct about this company. My public adjuster insisted on using them. They dragged their feet from the very beginning by a couple of weeks, and again for the report, and now the report is flawed. And no response from the company.

I got the testing done, it came back positive for asbestos. I panicked. I called Pacific Environmental for an estimate on the job. Armando and Arturo came out to assess the job and provide with me with a quote. To my surprise, the price was only slightly higher than the regular remediation company. I was pleasantly surprised by the affordability. Additionally, they promised me the job would be completed in 1 day! WOW! This would be best case scenario. The office staff was also very kind and helpful with prompt estimate and response time. Today was the day of the job, I was very anxious and worried due to the fact that my parent's house is very old. The job supervisor, two workers and Arturo came out to ensure that everything would be okay! They did a superior job, kept everything clean, taped off all areas and did a great job with containment! If had had to pay them off it would have cost a lot of money. So it was cheaper have them finish the job for a package price. JRN was professional, and offered good advice on how to reduce repair costs. They are certified for asbestos and mold remediation. The lesson I learned is always find out the cost of a service before it's performed, even if you think insurance will pay for everything. In my case I did not have enough insurance coverage.

I always said I'd bring them back for the next phase of the project--life just moved slowly, and here we are almost a decade later. I reached out again recently, and unfortunately, the experience wasn't the same. It took about three days to get a call back, which I didn't mind because of the excellent service I'd had in the past. The rep came out, I showed him the areas I needed removed, and we had a good conversation. He gave solid advice and said he'd send over a quote. Three days later, I texted to follow up--to check whether the quote had been sent or had gone to the wrong email. I never received a response. It's now been 3-4 months without any communication. Honestly, he could have reached back out to me and told me the job was too small, or that they weren't willing to take it on. Any form of return communication is always better than no communication. At this point, I'll have to take my (admittedly small) job elsewhere. I'm genuinely disappointed because I was looking forward to working with them again, but the lack of follow-up left me stuck. I don't know that much about this stuff but they could answer all my questions and I checked it against what I was learning on the internet. When I deal the people who look for termites, you can usually tell which companies are serious and well trained and which ones just generalize and say they have to spray your whole house and it will cost this much and that spiel. I'd put them in the former category. They gave me specific answers and could almost answer every one of my follow up questions. And I don't mind it if they say they aren't sure about one thing, and consult with someone. The fact that they aren't acting like they know everything on earth tells me, usually, they are being honest. I think they share a background with the person who referred me to them, so I fundamentally trusted them by the end. I spoke with three companies, who came out, and they were clearly the most knowledgeable and appreciated how dangerous this stuff is for me and my wife. I'm still discussing with them and the handy mans's company the whole process of removing it in this one area, so it's not fully resolved. But I feel like I know what the score it and what we need to do.
