Hawaiian Roll

All day happy hour! Food and drinks, and lots of variety. The fish was very fresh, I sat at the bar both times I visited, once alone and once with a friend. When I came on a Friday, they were booked out for the night at 5pm, but the bar is first come first serve! I had the same bartender both times and she was great, giving me knowledgeable and delicious menu recommendations. This is what I tried, and I loved all of it: Roja roll Calamari Ceviche Truffle salmon Hawaiian roll Tokyo fizz (cocktail, my favorite) Samurai Saketini

Awesome happy hour and vibes! We came on a Saturday around 5:15 for dinner and the happy hour goes until 7! I have never seen such a long happy hour menu.. I think our entire meal was from it. we split the lettuce wraps and edamame and each got a sushi roll. Bill divided I spent less than $20! My fav dish was the lettuce wraps. I would totally order that as my entire meal next time!

I can't stop trying all the different sushi spots Lincoln Park has to offer, and the fact that they've all been 5 stars to me is a blessing (so many great options) and a curse (so hard to choose). For Blue Sushi Sake, I gotta say what sells me on them is their happy hour deals. We dined here for the first time on a Sunday which has all day happy hour!! Amazing cocktails, many of which are under $10, awesome appetizers and sushi rolls at decent discounts ($1-$3 off regular price on average). Our server was also so sweet and cool! She explained the whole menu to us and gave us some great recommendations, like if you order the shishito peppers, save the extra sauce they're sautéed in to dip your sushi. 10/10.

Took over an hour and a half for our Sushi. The happy hour has some good deals, but not good enough to wait that long. Brussel sprouts: 4/5 Truffle Salmon: 2/5 (couldn't taste any truffle flavor) Shishito peppers: 3/5 Lion king roll: 4/5 Philly roll: 3.5/5

So I really wanted sushi after Mayfest and we ended up here because they were open later. The ambience inside is very cool and I've always meant to come here because I like how it's decorated. We tried the crab Rangoon's, The Hawaiian roll and the tuna roll. Tuna was great- simple, very fresh. Rangoons were Very good with the mango flavor- A little greasy for me, honestly, but still enjoyable. The Hawaiian roll was a miss. We thought that it would just be tempura pieces inside, but the whole roll was fried so it was really hot ??? Did not enjoy. But I can see why this place is popular and I would definitely come back to try the martinis and other things! I've heard they have a great happy hour soooooo

came for all day Sunday happy hour which does have some good deals, especially since their rolls are on the pricier side! Unfortunately, was quite unimpressed with their service. Our server never refilled our water, forgot adjustments we requested, and asked if we were ready for the check while we were mid-bite. It was 3pm (not peak dining time) and there were plenty of open tables so not sure why we were both rushed and overlooked. May return if it's nearby/convenient, but there are plenty of other sushi places around with better service and great quality food.

Yum, love this place! We unknowingly went during HH so that was a plus and honestly their HH items and prices were great. Standouts were my roja roll and the crispy brussels app. Def could've passed on the seaweed salad, usually I like this dish but this one had these huge pieces of seaweed that were a weird texture. We also ordered a raspberry mojito and it was actually super tasty and not too sweet. The service was okay...they messed up our order three separate times but they were really nice about it and gave us the charred edamame and tuna nigiri on the house.

SUNDAY ALL DAY HAPPY HOUR!!!!!! My friends and I came here to celebrate my birthday, we had the best time. Joann, our server was great. I highly recommend the charred edamame, Samurai saketini, salmon skin roll and tempura fried ice cream. I will definitely be back. The ambiance is gorgeous and it was not crowded on a Sunday afternoon. Street parking is damn near impossible, but there is a parking lot across the street.

We randomly stopped in and found out they had an all-day happy hour on Sunday. A table for three, please! We started off with some spicy edamame and a round of Bluetinis--YUM! My friends got their favorite rolls and were very happy with the flavors and spice level. Definitely will be back to try more of their menu soon.

Stopped in to wind down. Had the samurai saketini . This is a distinguished drink. I recommend you try it out. We also had sushi and appetizers. Service is great and the atmosphere is relaxing.

Happy hour all day Sunday... need I say more?! Arrived around 7:15pm, the wait for two people was over an hour. Luckily, there were two seats left at the bar so we grabbed those and were served right away. Inside was cute, had a lounge feel. They have a cute patio outside as well. NFL on the TV by the bar, which is essential for Sundays. We got a little of everything, and it all came out super hot like we had to wait for it to cool down before digging in. Everything was good, but special shoutout to the mango crab Rangoons and crispy rice cake! Happy hour has a limited selection of rolls to choose from, but still plenty of options. They were good (not great), but absolutely worth it for the price point. Loved the crunchy LA! Will be going back to try more of the menu!!

Went here on a Thursday for happy hour with a party of six and we had such a great experience! Service was super attentive as our server checked in often, kept waters full, and made sure everything came out quickly even though the place was busy. The drinks leaned a little on the sweet side, but you could tell they were made with high-quality alcohol. Definitely still enjoyable and a good value for happy hour. For food, I ordered two sushi rolls, one off the happy hour menu and another from the regular menu. Both were fantastic! The fish tasted fresh, the rolls were balanced in flavor, and the presentation was quite nice. Honestly, the quality of the fish here is almost unmatched given the price range being in the middle. What I love about this spot is how consistent it is -- every time I come, the service and food deliver. It's become my go-to, and it works just as well for casual happy hour as it does for a nicer dinner out.

I really enjoyed my time here. For context, I came on a Sunday evening (and all day on Sunday is happy hour). The discounts were generous, and the food was delicious. My friend and I shared everything. We got edamame (get the garlic- it's not spicy, rather strong fresh garlic), crab Rangoon (yes, please, more), truffle salmon (fine but not really truffley so I wouldn't order again), salad with carrot ginger dressing (two people can share this), a blue kani roll (fine, I'll try something else next time), and the tidal wave (very filling and yum). I loved my experience here. Staff was patient as we made orders, not all at one time. Ambiance was cool, with vibrant murals. If you only order from the happy hour menu, you will get an insanely excellent deal! So many options!

My only critique is the pacing. Since the chef already had the fish sliced and prepped, I expected a smoother flow, but the meal took about an hour and a half for 14 pieces of sushi. It felt a bit slow, especially for a lunch service. That said, if you're looking for a reasonably priced omakase with quality fish, this is a solid choice.

Both were great. Our bartenders were lovely and very friendly. Found out this is a Malort tasting room and we were able to sample some different Malorts (the cocoa one was good!). Then we were taken back to our table for dinner. Our server was super friendly as well. Started with the miso soup and crispy tuna bites which were probably my favorite dishes. The taki yoki fritters weren't bad either. We saw people getting omakase, so we ordered a yummy looking piece they were receiving. It was just okay (chutoro truffle). The nigiri was also okay. The tuna piece was the only I really loved. The fish quality wasn't as high as I was expecting. The sushi was decent. A little too much truffle in the spicy blue fin tuna and a little too vegetable forward in the hamachi serrano. All in all, the atmosphere and amazing service pushed this up to a 4 for me.
