Went on a late Saturday afternoon- Pros: Great outdoor seating with max people watching Strong happy hour even on the weekends! Strong margarita for only $8 during HH Friendly waitress Pretty presentations Cons: None of the food was very fresh or flavorful :( We went with the crispy Brussels, ceviche, lion roll, and tuna crispy roll- all of it looked beautiful but the overall taste was meh

Another amazing Nashville happy hour! This is a restaurant that does not downsize what you are getting when you order off of the happy hour which I LOVE. It is right next to the assembly food hall making this a great option if you are looking for more of a sit down dinner spot off of broadway, but not so great when it comes to parking. The happy hour includes drinks but my friend and I focused on the sushi. I will say though as a Diet Coke purist, the fountain drink was not it. The art and decor on the inside was such a fun vibe and the waiter was super timely with service. The tidal wave was by far both of ours favorite roll so I wouldn't skip it!

We decided to go here after the farmer's market. I wasn't planning on writing a review, but after tasting we crab ragoon I just had to. The vibe is great, decor is great. We went on a Sunday afternoon and there was loads of seating, no rush whatsoever. I had just eaten, so I didn't order a full meal. Instead, I got the house lime margarita and mango crab rangoon. I went with Taijin on the rim and can't go back - so good! Or could have been stronger, but I like em strong. The crab rangoon was the best I've ever had, no contest. So, naturally, I had to write a review. Definitely going back! Our server was also very personable and that's always a nice touch. Feeling like staff are running around and stressed kind of impedes the experience.

We went for a Saturday lunch and were surprised to find out it was Happy Hour. Awesome discounts on a large portion of the menu. I ordered the chicken lettuce wraps and they were huge! We made a reservation, but I wouldn't say it's needed. Great spot in a cute area

I really like their happy hour (especially all day Sunday happy hour!). The cocktails are batched so they can keep up with demand, but that makes some of them kind of meh. I wish they'd make them on demand when they aren't busy, but that would make the batch ones sit around longer. It's a strange problem to have. Either serve drinks quickly with consistent flavor or batch prepare them and mute the flavors a bit. I like the blueberry one okay so I'd recommend that if you're looking for a good quality/good price situation. I sat at the bar and service was okay. The whole restaurant is such a dark and moody vibe (in the best way). The food we ordered came out without waiting too long which is always appreciated. I like the mushroom one and the cowboy one (both vegan). The brussels sprouts are also really yummy. Definitely worth the visit if you're able to come during happy hour to maximize your spend.

This place was so good we went back two days in a row! We were at a conference in Nashville and luckily my nephew who is local took us on a Sunday night! The fact that they do Happy Hour pretty much all day every day is such a bonus. All the rolls were fresh and not packed with rice, service was great also! The only complaint I have is the music is way too loud. The next day at lunch when it was pretty quiet, we had a much better experience, dined longer and spent more!

We are from Boston and it's only the 2nd time in Nashville with the family but we all agreed that we want to go back to this amazing restaurant. Lucky us, we made it 10 minutes before the happy hour ended and enjoyed amazing sushi and brussel sprout outside on the balcony. Such a fun mall and to watch all the people walk around is super entertaining. The staff was also super nice and we were able to pay with a QR code at the table.

After being in Nashville all week eating and drink lots of fast/fried food, we wanted something fresh. We were recommended to this place by a local bartender. She did not steer us wrong. The food was delicious and the staff were extra friendly to our large party. They were very accommodating and just overall good vibes. The food was fresh and filling. I'm so glad we came.

Went after an event at Bridgestone for my friend's birthday. She's vegan so they had an extensive vegan menu for her. The service was nice and it wasn't busy at all (probably due in part to the ice storm over the past week). Everyone liked their food too. Would definitely go back if I'm in the downtown area before or after an event.

Me and my bestie enjoying the vibes!

Ok so i frequent blue sushi sake for a reason! I love when i can snag a seat at the bar, because people pack it out lol definitely get a rezzy if thats your vibe! The calamari is so so good! The charted edamame don't make nonsense! Their huge selection of drinks, bot alcoholic and non are impressive. Service is great, and food is Always on point! 1st time trying this place after seeing an ad for their Veganuary special. I was blown away to see that their regular sushi menu had a full list of vegan options!! The Cowboy with the tempura pickle was fun/unique. We ordered 4 different rolls - the vegan Philly was my fave. The plant-based smoked salmon was amazing and satisfied my cravings for a regular Philly roll (my fave before veganism). I'm so stoked to have a cool downtown restaurant as an option for when we go out with our friends. Mitch was our bartender & he was very welcoming & took great care of us. We will for sure come back! As far as ambiance, it reminded me of an upscale/less over stimulating Hawkers. The paper lanterns throughout the space looked really cool. Also! Their happy hour specials are AWESOME! I'll include a pic of some of the happy hour menu

First night in Nashville and I made a reservation here before flying out. I love Sushi and this spot was just around the corner from where I would be staying. I checked in for my reservation, and was seated immediately. The hostess was friendly and chipper. My server came over and asked if she could get me anything to drink besides water. I ordered the White Peach Daiquiri. It was really good, I enjoyed the popping peach Boba that was in the drink. Sunday they have happy Hour specials all day long - killer deal honestly. I ordered the spicy garlic edemame and a miso soup. The miso soup was brought over nearly instantaneous to me placing the order. Their Miso Soup was one of the best flavored miso soup I have ever had. Highly recommend - so good I debated a bowl to go. The spicy garlic edemame was cooked perfectly, and was delicious - the spice flavor reminded me of a spicier version of Tajin. They were delicious, they will make your nose run! I ordered the Lion King roll off the happy Hour Menu, the Iguana roll off the normal menu and asked my server if she had any recommendations - she suggested the tataki maki and that was the 3rd roll I ordered. All 3 rolls were delicious, the Lion King Roll ended up being my favorite. I enjoyed that they have the whipped wasabi, but it was the spiciest wasabi I have had in a while. Everyone in the restaurant seemed to be enjoying themselves, the staff was friendly, the restaurant was busy, a bit loud but overall a great experience. I would definitely eat here again, maybe even again before I fly home!

That's not the type of tuna sashimi you ever want to see at a sushi joint.

A tell tale sign of a good sushi place is how fresh their sashimi is. Well, it's not. The maguro tuna sashimi I ordered was colorless with almost white sheen to it. The service was friendly but slow.

We started off with a round of champagne and a bottle of red wine for dinner. We tried a variety of dishes since we were told that the set up is family style: Hamachi Crudo: 10/10 one of the best I've ever had! Super fresh and the sauce paired well with it. Bluefin Tune Crudo: 8/10 It was really fresh and well prepared, but I've had better elsewhere. I typically prefer bluefin tuna sashimi or nigiri anyway. Tuna Crispy Rice: 9/10 This was such a fun and delicious way to eat spicy tuna! All of the seasonings made it packed full of flavor. Tomahawk Ribeye 9/10: This was insanely tender, and well seasoned. Tip: ask for lemon wedges to sprinkle some lemon juice on it--thank me later. Broccolini 8/10: well prepared, and I loved the lemongrass garlic chili that topped it East Side Shrimp 7/10: These were well cooked and well seasoned. Loved the salad placed underneath it. Wagyu Tartare 8/10: It was well prepared and loved that it's paired with nori and rice. Wished it had a bit more punch to it in terms of seasoning. Crab Fried Rice 8/10: this was delicious but still say it's a solid 8. Beautifully prepared! Korean Hot Wings 2.5/10: I could tell that it was well cooked, but it was insanely salty; it was practically inedible. Hurricane Fries 9/10: These were so delicious! You are immediately hit with the smell of truffle, which made my mouth water. Packed with flavor! Brussels 7/10: These were well roasted, but the sauce was a tad too sweet for my liking. I highly recommend trying this place out!

By the bar we got to see some of the dishes being made. Great date night spot. Limited parking. This is a tapas spot and our serve did a good job recommending how many dishes to get. The only reason Noko is not getting 5 stars is because the server said that they would time out the dishes for us, so it was best to place our entire order all at once. However, we got 3 dishes and then it took about 30 minutes for other two to come out. Maybe we were eating too fast but felt like we were waiting a while for our food. The food itself was absolutely delicious. There was nothing we ordered that I did not like. Some favorites include the burnt ends lettuce wraps and Korean chicken wings. The Sando, shrimp and tuna crispy rice was also spectacular. The tuna was so flavorful and refreshing on the tuna crispy rice. The sauce of the east side shrimp really makes the dish. I'm not a huge shrimp person but this was really good. This is a must go to spot in Nashville and would definitely want to come back.

Our waiter was very helpful and attentive during the entire dining experience. The food was very good from the appetizers to the sushi rolls. Fish was very fresh and the wines were good. The only shock was the tax rate which couldn't be explained by the waiter other than to say that's how they maintain the roads. On a bill of exactly $100, our taxes added $14.09 to the total. It's definitely not the restaurants' fault, but TN or Nashville specifically needs to address the 14.1% taxes on a restaurant bill. It's egregious, but again I can't fault the restaurant hence the 5 star review.

I figured if I was going to try, it needed to be at a place that knew what they were doing. James our sushi chef, definitely knew what he was doing. The servings were one piece at a time, served at a comfortable pace. Each piece was a different sort of fish, or a piece of wagyu beef! I enjoyed myself.
