This place is in a cute little strip mall. Easy parking. The dining area is separate from the Bar area and spacious. Service was fast, attentive and super friendly. Parking was easy-breezy. This establishment is clean, well organized and the menu rocks. We had a great time a great meal and look forward to returning.

Our first visit here was great! The service was quick and so friendly! Loved the atmosphere! The food and drinks were wonderful, and the prices were so reasonable. The restaurant is very spacious and has a friendly crowd. We ordered nachos and an enchilada and a burrito. Everything was fresh and tasty! The rice and beans were delicious, and the churros with the fudge sauce were sooooo good! We plan to go back when we're in the area to try more dishes!

After hearing great things about the Blue Taco, we finally decided it was worth a visit and they did not disappoint!! I had 3 tacos ( pork, chicken, and steak) Absolutely Delicious! So fresh, served with fresh cilantro and a radish garnish. I had a yummy white sangria which was a perfect pairing. The decor is simple yet charming displaying a few pieces of custom artwork. Our server was actually an owner named Freddy, who treated us like family from the second we walked in. My wife and I shared a delicious dessert and I finished with a perfect Mexican Coffee. Sorry Taco Dive Bar (Peekskill waterfront), there's a new taco contender in town! There is no shortage of great restaurants in that area of Rt.6, but if you are a taco lover, I do not think you will regret a visit into the Blue Taco!ENJOY!

Stopped by on a Saturday afternoon. There was only one other table there- not busy. We ordered margaritas- pretty good. We got the chips and salsa, I loved the salsa, it was very tasty! The appetizer we got was the fiesta app, I think it came with calamari, elote, fries and wings. We were not crazy about the wings, they were not warm, the French fries were soggy and not cooked fully. The calamari was alright, and elote was ok. Nothing outrageous. For our entree we had to remind the server that we didn't order yet. We finally got our food and it was pretty good. Carne asada and Texans fajita. I will probably be back, but now I know not to order that sampler app! Not complaining but for a full summary of the lunch- The bill was about $90 for an app, two drinks and two entrées.

    Beautiful mural in the restaurant.

order enchilada mole, and was freaking delicious, not too spicy able to enjoy the taste of the food. Bartender and waitress was really nice, my wife and I enjoyed it much, definitely be coming back!

    Margarita- Classic

First time coming based on a recommendation. Loved the appetizer. Burrito lacked the same luster in seasoning as appetizer. Margarita didn't hit well with me either but it was a classic next time I'll try something different. I highly recommend. Came in at 9pm on a Saturday and definitely will be back.

Came in for lunch. Brand new restaurant in Mahopac with very reasonable prices. The food was delicious. The Margarita was perfect. The calamari has a little kick in the seasoning. The shrimp tacos were perfectly cooked, seasoned, and just delicious. And the sevice is excellent- family owned and they take a lot of pride in their restaurant. Definitely warm and welcoming, making you feel like part of fhe family. Definitely plan to come back to try more on the menu!

I took a quick look at the ratings and the food photos and that was enough for us to set the GPS for the Stone House. Entering, we were greeted immediately and made to feel very welcome. The dining room was lively but we had a nice table and soon had water and bread, which came with a delicious sauce of some kind that had vegetables and cheese in it. It was so good they should sell jars of it! We ordered some shrimp cocktail to start (those were some giant shrimp, although it was only three and four would have been a nice even number) and then I had the rib eye for my main. It doesn't come with anything so I ordered fries on the side. That steak was outstanding! The flavor, the texture...everything was amazing. It came out on a sizzling skillet and it tasted as good as it looked. It was also so big that I took half of it home for lunch and if possible, it tasted even better the next day. I was very pleased. The fries were also exceptional and even though the serving was big, I ate them all. I couldn't help myself! Since I took half of my steak home, I decided there was room for dessert and the chocolate mousse didn't disappoint. The food was so good and the service was so warm and friendly, I definitely want to go back to Stone House Grill. If you're nearby, stop in for a meal. I don't think you'll be disappointed.

The decor is cute..I miss the dim light and warm / dark woods and colors that you expect in an Irish pub. I met the owner on the first visit and she is very nice and I wish her great luck..but the kids who work there have very little passion or personality unfortunately. This really is a nice little place and I hope it succeeds..but it has a few up hill issues..first is its smack in the center of many already establishment great restaurants the other big one is this: 75% of people who live up here moved from Southern Westchester or the Bronx..what does that mean? ..it means we all grew up on Rorys!!! And that is what we are seeking up here. Anyway, nice little place for a comfort meal if you are tired of Good Chinese or Italian. Enjoy!

I'm glad I glowed up for the occasion. Service was phenomenal. Can't say enough. From the hostess (her first day-nice job!!) to our server, bartender and busser. Owner came over a few times to chat. Food. Omg just look at the pics. Delicious. Everything was cooked perfectly, lamb was a tad overcooked but that was my friends' bad for asking for it medium. My salmon--perfection. I like my salmon on the medium-rare side wowsa. Loves every bite (and I do mean every bite 'cause I ate it all). Did I mention the creamed spinach? Best I have ever had. Anywhere. A smidge salty but still had to order a separate side of it as my friend was not sharing hers I nearly forgot the candied bacon. Enough said. Because it was, you guessed it, amazing. Hats off to the chef!! Drinks-my tolerance for a poorly made margarita is zero and the bartender, again-amazing. One of the best margaritas I have had in a restaurant. Cucumber martini, delicious. Only comment is that the bourbon was not cold enough. Then a bottle of Decoy, it was their 'house' wine-say what? You mean the house wine wasn't some obscure wine drastically over-priced? No Virginia, it was not. Dessert-tiramisu out of this world. The Italian ricotta was a little salty. Highly recommend. Make a reservation though.

We had a great time playing a game as we were eating and drinking. The drinks all had different flavors, and we're all very well blended and balanced for taste. I would say my favorite one was the surprise me drink. The Korean nachos were delicious, and there was a nice little tang of flavor as you eat it. The garlic dipping sauce that came along with the tallow fries was very addicting to eat (not usually fond of garlic) We finished everything we ordered. Overall the drinks complemented the food flavors very well. Kiera made sure we were good with our food and drinks, she was funny to talk to and made our first experience So much better. We went around 5pm, and saw the sign "Seat Yourself & Order At The Bar". Ok... So I asked a bartender for 2 menus, and found a booth. We decided quickly, and I made my way to the bar. Others were ahead of me, so I patiently waited to order: Tripple Smash Burger, Honey Buffalo Salad, Purple Rain (2), Diet Coke. I paid at the bar, served the drinks and waited for our food. The music was 80's MTV Themed {Pat Benatar, Bon Jovi, Bruuuce, Billy Idol}. Jenga, Horrible Couple and Cards Against Humanity were on the tables to pass the time. Or flip through the many records available for purchase until the food arrives. The salad was large in size and very good. Been a while since I had a burger, and this filled the void. Fries were not that hot, but we ate them anyway. Afterwards, we went downstairs and played some old school arcade games and then headed out. Upon leaving we saw someone was having a birthday party, which was nice to see. I'm sure in the summer this place gets packed. They also have a selection of draught beer (The proper way to spell it). Good choice for food, although it wasn't cheap. Bill w/tip was $100. I think having a server on staff for all hours would be a good decision for TVR to make, in order to TCB !
