This place is in a cute little strip mall. Easy parking. The dining area is separate from the Bar area and spacious. Service was fast, attentive and super friendly. Parking was easy-breezy. This establishment is clean, well organized and the menu rocks. We had a great time a great meal and look forward to returning.

Our first visit here was great! The service was quick and so friendly! Loved the atmosphere! The food and drinks were wonderful, and the prices were so reasonable. The restaurant is very spacious and has a friendly crowd. We ordered nachos and an enchilada and a burrito. Everything was fresh and tasty! The rice and beans were delicious, and the churros with the fudge sauce were sooooo good! We plan to go back when we're in the area to try more dishes!

After hearing great things about the Blue Taco, we finally decided it was worth a visit and they did not disappoint!! I had 3 tacos ( pork, chicken, and steak) Absolutely Delicious! So fresh, served with fresh cilantro and a radish garnish. I had a yummy white sangria which was a perfect pairing. The decor is simple yet charming displaying a few pieces of custom artwork. Our server was actually an owner named Freddy, who treated us like family from the second we walked in. My wife and I shared a delicious dessert and I finished with a perfect Mexican Coffee. Sorry Taco Dive Bar (Peekskill waterfront), there's a new taco contender in town! There is no shortage of great restaurants in that area of Rt.6, but if you are a taco lover, I do not think you will regret a visit into the Blue Taco!ENJOY!

Stopped by on a Saturday afternoon. There was only one other table there- not busy. We ordered margaritas- pretty good. We got the chips and salsa, I loved the salsa, it was very tasty! The appetizer we got was the fiesta app, I think it came with calamari, elote, fries and wings. We were not crazy about the wings, they were not warm, the French fries were soggy and not cooked fully. The calamari was alright, and elote was ok. Nothing outrageous. For our entree we had to remind the server that we didn't order yet. We finally got our food and it was pretty good. Carne asada and Texans fajita. I will probably be back, but now I know not to order that sampler app! Not complaining but for a full summary of the lunch- The bill was about $90 for an app, two drinks and two entrées.

    Beautiful mural in the restaurant.

order enchilada mole, and was freaking delicious, not too spicy able to enjoy the taste of the food. Bartender and waitress was really nice, my wife and I enjoyed it much, definitely be coming back!

First time coming based on a recommendation. Loved the appetizer. Burrito lacked the same luster in seasoning as appetizer. Margarita didn't hit well with me either but it was a classic next time I'll try something different. I highly recommend. Came in at 9pm on a Saturday and definitely will be back.

Came in for lunch. Brand new restaurant in Mahopac with very reasonable prices. The food was delicious. The Margarita was perfect. The calamari has a little kick in the seasoning. The shrimp tacos were perfectly cooked, seasoned, and just delicious. And the sevice is excellent- family owned and they take a lot of pride in their restaurant. Definitely warm and welcoming, making you feel like part of fhe family. Definitely plan to come back to try more on the menu!

I would've liked if they asked if we wanted glasses salted (they were Not and wish they were). Chips and salsa plentiful. Nice flavorful salsa. We ordered an appetizer that had a little of everything and I esp liked the mini tacos and the pork bellies. It was quite an ample amount of everything enough for the 4 of us ! I need gluten-free items and many items had wheat flour tortillas. Our server went in the back to ask the chef what would be corn flour. I ordered quesadillas with corn and had steak added. Very well balanced textures and sweet and spicy. I should've paid attention to the other items ordered. All I can say is everyone was thoroughly pleased with their orders. My son's girlfriend did order the shrimp fajitas-huge shrimp and certainly a large portion. It's really nice to have something nearby (8 miles). Best Mexican I've had in a long while!

They charge for extra chips past the first complimentary round. The salsa truthfully tastes like an Ortega seasoning packet (I liked it but the rest of my party didn't). The steak was a little dry and so was the rice. Great flavor though and a very nice and clean restaurant. The staff were great too. Will most likely be coming back for the family taco and sangria pitcher combo.

We felt as if we were guests inside the owners kitchen. She, wish I knew her name, came out often to the tables to personally and personably ask how our visit was. This is a rarity among most establishments these days. This is what bought up the rankings to five stars tonight. Needless to say, we'll be back;) TIP: cash payments are without taxes ;) TIP: small private street leveled entrance TIP: delivery available I believe thru a 3rd party. My partner and I were seated promptly, and were attended well by our waitress. We went on a very cold evening and both decided to order the spicy malaysian miso ramen along with the peking duck buns to warm ourselves up. Our food came about 15 minutes after ordering, starting with the Peking duck buns which were flavorful and had nice tender meat, though rather small for the price. Our ramen came shortly after-- we loved the coconutty, umami slightly spicy broth which was reminiscent of laksa (I suspect that they Americanized this dish and named it ramen so the Putnam populace would want to try it). The noodles were nicely cooked and not too soft, and the chashu meat went nicely with the dish. Though we enjoyed our meal, for $18 a bowl and charging NYC prices, you are not getting NYC quality or portions. The egg was hard boiled and overdone, and not jammy like a ramen egg should be. The broth was very enjoyable (I personally love laksa and coconut based broths) but could have been better emulsified. I also feel as though the bowl of ramen could have been a little larger given the price point. Another small qualm I have is though our waitress was lovely, she didn't seem to be very familiar with the menu, or with different types of asian food. I know this is a fusion restaurant in Mahopac, but to hear someone say that making the Tonkatsu spicy would basically just be the same as ordering the spicy malaysian miso ramen felt like either the staff isn't familiar with the basic differences between their dishes, or that what is being served is not accurate to the dish it is named after (as Tonkatsu is NOT miso based, nor does it have coconut milk). I would love to see in the future the chef sticking to their cultural cooking without fusion, as Mahopac desperately needs more authentic asian cooking. I really genuinely did have a nice dinner here, and would love to see how this restaurant evolves and succeeds in this space.
