Went in on for Easter, and all I can say is wow. Amazing ambiance right when you walk in. We ordered fried calamari which tasted like it was caught yesterday, the bread was so warm and amazing! So disappointed with this place . I took my wife there for Valentine's Day and initially we were impressed with the ambiance, but that's where it ends ! The service was horrible , we waited over 40 minutes for appetizers that were never served. We later realized our appetizer was given to another table who arrived after us. Not only did we have to ask for bread , we also had to ask for butter . When our food arrived we explained to the waiter that we never received our appetizer ! The waiter then suggested to hold our food in the kitchen for later , My wife and I looked confused , why would allow our food to sit out and get cold ? My wife ordered Lobster ravioli which tasted like it came out a frozen bag or Chef Boyardee can , I ordered pasta with braised rib, basically it was spaghetti with meat sauce , the food was diner quality and not worth the money STAY AWAY ! read more

First time here and I brought my entire family. Absolutely amazing! I was actually surprised at how good each dish was as it's so hard to find authentic food. First time after hearing about this place from friends, we have really been missing out after being there one time! We had a really special tasting menu experience orchestrated by Matteo the very friendly and gracious chef/owner, we knew of one specialty item he was preparing, Rabbit as an entree a real delicacy and specialty item, but aside from that it really was something special to not have to decide what we wanted, now this type of experience may not be for all BUT we definitely loved and enjoyed everything we had. The appetizer's we had were brussel sprouts, roasted beets, steamed mussels in an unbelievably delicious light red sauce, all the bread we had we used to soak up the excess Italian style, a salad special that was seafood based with some shrimps and salmon, last but not least Pulpo (Octopus) in a butter lemon sauce. We had of course the rabbit special and some who didn't want to partake in that had the pappardelle with short rib sauce, the rabbit was tender and succulent and the pasta with the short rib based sauce was out of bounds good! Matteo finished up with a desert platter and some Limoncello. No pictures we were too busy eating and having a great time. Trust me you really should experience and try this local gem. read more

Overall, we had a good experience here. But, it wasn't without some issues. The wine I ordered was clearly stale. So, I requested a replacement. The owner's wife brought out an unopened bottle, uncorked it and poured my replacement. Kudos! One of my group ordered arugula salad and was given spinach salad, without anyone apologizing for the exchange. Fortunately, that group member liked spinach. Other than that, we all enjoyed our entrees and service was attentive and professional. One concern was why the restaurant was fairly empty on a Friday night. Hope they remain in business but that's not a good sign. read more

Very welcoming owner/chef makes you feel very comfortable. Best fried calamari I've had in quite some time. The octopus was like butter in an sauce I can't describe but used quite a bit of their homemade bread to finish it up. My friend had veal milanese (not on the menu) but our new buddy the chef made it for him. No knife needed. I was that tender. I had the homemade black ink pasta with calamari and crabmeat. My only negative was that our waitress wasn't very attentive but the food more than made up for it. I'll be bringing my wife in next. Can't wait. read more

Unfortunately I can only give two stars. Slow service and a pre fix menu (which was not posted anywhere). The menu catered toward seafood lovers. Only one beef option and it was the most expensive option on the menu. Didn't even get to try the food. My fiancé and I ended up leaving without anything in our stomachs. The poor woman who was working looked like she was in pain and barely ate anything all day. Other reviews show that this establishment is wonderful but put a horrible taste in my mouth (without even feeding me) and we will never be back. read more

Waited 1 hr for appetizers while other tables seated and ordered after us were given food. - Child was given red sauce w/pasta, while we ordered pasta with butter - Entrees were disgusting and did not eat the food. Lady (manager) said too bad you ordered it and it's not her problem that we didn't like it or eat it. She will not take it off the bill. We were forced to pay for entire bill. - Food quality was very poor, pictures online are deceiving from their website (most likely stock photos). - The level of professionalism was astonishing, as she wouldn't agree with the consumer, instead decided to argue with us in front of the entire restaurant. Dishonest business owners. They use the term " homemade " . They use chicken base and water for chicken stock. The salad dressings come out of plastic jugs , fish is frozen , the bread and pasta are all store bought. I guess playing videos of Italy on tv screens in the dining room make it "authentic ". Went here the other nite w the wife and kid. The food is legit - homemade pastas (my gal had the gnocchi), and fresh baked bread. The caesar was fantastic and my chicken parm was really good. They made a side of homemade rigatoni w red sauce for my daughter - all very, very good. They seemed to have overcharged us for my wife's Old Fashion cocktail- it was $14 on the menu, but charged us $17. The food is really good here - the staff very attentive and the place very clean. I had an amazing dining experience here - delicious food, friendly service & reasonably priced! The complimentary bruschetta was fresh, tasty & a pleasant surprise. My two sons loved their kids meals, which were a deal especially since the penne & chicken strips were homemade & generously sized. My wife & I loved our meals - rigatoni bolognese (also homemade pasta) & chicken scarp, which were very flavorful & not oily. We capped off our meal with cheesecake, which was incredibly tasty, fresh & quickly devoured. We will definitely be back & tell all our friends & family! read more
