I was mortified by my experience!!! My sons chicken tenders were burnt with black specs of who knows what in the batter, my daughters grilled chicken smelled rotten, and my cheesesteak had so much fake smoke taste is was overwhelmingly bad. By myself on a business trip I stopped in for dinner midweek. I couldn't decide between a burger or pork belly tacos and I asked the bartender for advice and She wasn't helpful and had no opinion either way. I got a black n blue burger, sweet potato fires and a cup of chowder for firsts. Chowder was fine, not bad or great. The burger finally shows up, and was good, not bad or great and the fries were burnt. I'm not sure if it was my batch or the oil but sitting at the bar I watched every other order go out with "dark" fries. I ended up paying with tip over $30 for two beers, cup of soup and a burger and fries I couldn't care to finish. WAY OVERRATED for mediocre food. read more

Had beers and dinner at The Shed, the outdoor area behind Blue Tractor. We are locals and have dined here many times. Had the brisket sandwich.....absolutely horrible, almost inedible. Very tough and under cooked. Brisket should be meltingly tender and moist. Seriously send someone on your staff to Texas to learn how to cook it. We were staying for the night and decided to try this place. It's pretty kid friendly and has a good selection of food. My wife really liked the Bloody Mary. The Cuban burger was good, although the bottle of BBQ sauce was clogged, and it needed some. The mac and cheese was good, but a little bland. Fried pickles were one of the best I've had. Went for lunch today to meet up with friends. I order the Black-and-Blue Burger. It was perfectly cooked and tasted amazing. The in house chips are also to die for. They give you the option of "upgrading" to fries, don't take it. Wonderful atmosphere, tasty food. Great location. Made up for a previous experience that was terrible. This place was highly recommended to us during our recent visit. When we first arrived the two hostesses were super friendly, we had a 30 minute wait which we expected. Once we sat down we ordered our drinks and an appetizer. She brought our drinks to our table and took our order. Unfortunately we didn't see our waitress again for at least 30-45 minutes when some of her friends were sat by us. She was very attentive to her two friends, in fact even though they showed up a half hour after us they received their food before us. She told us the kitchen lost our slip but didn't apologize or offer any sort of reimbursement for this error. The food was good but definitely not worth the long wait we had to get it. read more

Similar to my other review, I entered this place with low expectations since I'm not a big fan of Blue Tractor in Ann Arbor. Great surprise! Traverse City shows up Ann Arbor once again. I had the roasted vegetable salad, which was excellent. Very hearty and satisfying. Excellent beer selection as well. We visited the indoor bar, as well as the upstairs patio, which was a fun, chill spot with live music. Added plus: pool and fuseball tables. read more

Yummy eats with ok service. I enjoyed a great chicken sandwich and I don't even really like chicken. The food was creative without being too weird. I ate here with my whole family, there was 7 of us including my 3 year old daughter. With many people trying to find a spot that agrees with everyone's taste buds can be a challenge and this spot worked well. Our waitress was nice but the hostess was not very welcoming. I don't know about you but that first interaction can really set a tone for the dining experience. If you love cherries try the cherry mead, I loved it. read more

Yes that's her name and she was the best waitress I've ever had from any establishment...ever. When you give the hostess your party #, ask for Cnote. Our group of 6 had finished a long day on the water and the first restaurant we stopped at (which was right on the water and next to the yacht club) had a 1 hour & 45 minute wait. I remembered we'd a nice meal at Blue Tractor last year so we headed over and got a table right away which was awesome. Our drinks came quickly which always makes sailors happy. We ordered dinner right away so no apps. My barbeque chicken salad was so good but too big to finish. My friend had a salmon entree that she gave a thumbs up, and one of the guys ordered the same mac n cheese as last time. It wasn't fancy or on the water but they delivered! I live in a tourist town and know how easy it is to get screwed trying to find a place to eat on Friday night when you don't want to wait for an hour. read more

For those of us that live close by, it's difficult to avoid the convenience of Blue Tractor. Still there's a part of me that wishes they could do a few simple things right to make it better. Take out orders routinely take 30 minutes or more, compounded by the overworked bartender that typically has to serve the full bar and a large number of surrounding bar room tables by himself or herself. Why management has not ever addressed this (even after customer feedback) is confusing. The beer selection is very good and the food although not super healthy, lives up to it comfort food claim. Blue Tractor does well with kids and families, and the Sunday Bloody Marys are a great deal. read more

We enjoyed everything about the Blue Tractor. We started with the Tractor Twists which are delicious homemade breadsticks stuffed with cheese and then smothered in butter, garlic, and parmesan cheese. My wife ordered chicken and waffles and loved it, the maple syrup was great. I ordered the bbq sampler with pulled pork and brisket. The pork was great especially with the delicious bbq sauce. The food was absolutely horrific. The reuben sandwich was rubbery and tasted really bad. The chicken fingers were overcooked and burnt when they were brought to the table, and the burger was completely burned. If you dont have good teeth, there is no way you could have eaten the burger. And what is up with the fries and ranch tasting sweet?? Thats not how ranch and fries are supposed to taste. Too bad i cant give this place 0 stars, because that is what they deserve. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Save your money and go somewhere else please. If you have never listened to a review, at least listen to this one. read more
