Awesome place! We found the place during presidents week on our vacation from NY in February 2020 and loved the empanadas so much it was our first stop when we returned in March 2020! Steak was a little above average, rice and Beans no flavor, plantains were ok. Sold us a pina colada for 13 dollars from a pineapple that was completely green, not ripe at all. They took that off the bill thankfully. Anyways, first and last time. read more

The food is absolutely amazing !! But, the service was ridiculous, the servers did not anticipate our needs what so ever. We had to ask for water and sauces multiple times before obtaining them and then received only 2 waters for a party of 6 and no refills. The male and female that were serving us seemed to be sharing tips and neither of them seemed to care about our needs. The female was sitting at the bar texting, while the male was eating shit 90% of the time. Not once did either of them attempt to clean up the table, until we asked for the check (which we attempted to flag the servers down for about 3 times). Not once did they try to up-sell for their own sake, we were not offered desserts or extra drinks which we would've been more than willing to have. Honestly, management needs to reconsider the employees they have representing their business. Like I said the food is amazing but the servers are horrible, lucky them that gratuity was included. read more

This place was awful. We ordered a burger medium well only for the waitress to come back and tell us "the burgers are really thin and "can't be cooked any special way, they are just cooked". And when the skinny burger came it's barely cooked at all. She also ordered a sangaria and after a sip I asked "how is it" she said "I want to be alive in the morning so I'm not drinking it". It smelled like gasoline and the fruit was rotten in it. Stay away from this place. There are much better choices within a few hundred feet. read more

This place is great. I had steak and salad, and it was delicious. The view is a plus (unless you are facing the kitchen, lol) There are many argentinian grills everywhere from South Beach to where I live Sunny isles. But they are way more expensive than Blue wave. Argentinean grill and they can't cook steak. We ordered one medium and one medium well and they came out rare and medium rare. I asked the waitress to make mine medium and they threw mine back on the grill and it came back very well done. I ate my leathery steak and told the waitress that I was very unhappy with my meal and not coming back anytime soon and she couldn't understand why and was defensive. She finally apologized, but I had to pay $16 for each cheap cut and horribly cooked (three times) piece of meat. read more

I didn't come to Boardwalk a while with my husband. We decided to go to see Margaritaville, take a walk and stop at Blue Wave for lunch. 2 4 1 drinks, good deal. We ordered 2 beers, I ordered a Cesar Salad with Grill Grouper and my husband a Philly Sandwich. My fish came absolutely so salty that I chocked, greasy and the salad ( leaves ) were old.I asked to bring another one. It came better but still too much oil - the one you use to fry over and over again... My husband lunch also was no good, fries were just ok. Our server, a nice girl from Hungary I guess, tried her best. The only problem were 2 old guys - for her - that were placing orders but taking her time to bla bla bla her. Too old for her but maybe wanted be something else. Oh, men!!! The beer in bottle was good. I don't think I come back. Manager should be aware about service, food and etc. Looks like was not interested or even there was not one. read more

I am Very disappointed with the food and service. I ordered the steak sandwich and fries and my wife had the grill for one. The meat was tough and not seasoned at all. The waitresses acted as if they do not understand English and makes it difficult to get questions answered. I was not happy with the 18% gratuity automatically added to my bill when it took us five or six times to get the waitresses attention. There are many other places on the boardwalk I recommend you try those places before eating here. read more
