Parking: Plenty of free street parking Ambience: Laid-back, clean, and casual. Qisa means "story" in Arabic. The rickshaw logo comes from founder Abdul Aziz, who fell in love with coffee while taking rickshaw rides through traditional markets. This café blends rare Yemeni coffee beans with Pakistani (Peshawari) traditions, creating some unique drinks you don't often find elsewhere. Recommended drinks: * Signature Qisa Latte: made with Yemeni beans and a traditional herb blend with prominent cardamom notes * Traditional Karak Chai * Beetroot-dyed Pink Chai Popular food: * Honey Bites: warm bread filled with cream cheese and drizzled with honey What surprised me the most is that this place stays open until 10 PM, which is rare for a coffee shop café. It also offers free Wi-Fi, accepts DoorDash orders, and I noticed several people working remotely here, making it a nice spot to hang out, study, or get some work done.

Coffee place with a Turkey flair. Cardamom coffee was great. Honey Bite bread was amazing (if you love honey) Spinach pastry was a bit overstuffed but pretty good. Chicken roll was pretty good. They also have boxes of Turkish delight and other bakery-like goodies that I want to try someday.

We were walking around Curtis Park and made our way through this area, as soon as I saw the coffee shop I was excited to stop in. The space is pretty big with a good amount of seating inside and outside. The team at Qisa was very friendly and welcoming and when I let them know it was my first time in they asked what I liked to drink. I let them know I drink everything and typically order a flat white or a specialty drink. I was ready for them to recommend the pistachio latte or rose latte but the person helping me seemed interested in trying their hand at a flat white and adding the Qisa house syrup to it. They seemed excited so I was happy to give it a try. We saw posters for pink chai outside and my husband is a big chai fan so his order was easy. He opted for the iced version. We weren't sure what to expect and the menu says it's green tea, with milk, cardamom and pistachio. I'm not sure what turns it pink? The drinks didn't take long and we were back on our walk in no time. The chai was fine, but my husband likes more flavor and spice. The pink chai had a light flavor. The flat white was also ok, not the best I've ever had but I appreciated them giving it a try. I would definitely try them again though and go for a drink they're more known for. Overall a very cute spot with plenty of space to hang out and study, work, or catch up with friends.

I came in with my friend. Parking here is on the street and maybe a tad hard to find. The coffee shop is a nice quiet neighborhood so it's really cute spot to chill and work if you need. I got the pistachio iced latte and my friend got the banana latte. Both were good. We each also got chicken rolls that were pretty tasty. They had a spice mixture sprinkled on that was very interesting. Enjoyed this little spot a lot.

Qisa Coffee is a super cute and delicious coffee shop serving Peshawari/Pakistani drinks and food that I definitely recommend you try. The inside is spacious and bright, with high top seating and tables, there's also an outdoor area for when the weather is nice. I've been here several times and have not been disappointed in anything I've tried. I really like their lattes and chais. The workers are nice and helpful too in answering questions. This is a popular space for students and people working on their laptops as well. I'll definitely be back to try more things.

Went to give Qisa a go this morning and I enjoyed my time here! The cafe is spacious, bright, and has both indoor and outdoor seating. The environment is welcoming and the servers were friendly and engaging. There the lots of tables and I saw people taking advantage of them to have their coffee and work on the laptops. Qisa offers hot and cold coffees with an Arabic spin. I asked for a recommendation and they recommended their hot Qisa Latte. It's their signature drink with authentic Yemeni coffee and espresso. It was mildly sweet and was very enjoyable. If you enjoy smooth, silky tastes - this one is a good bet. The menu also had a number of food items and I saw they had a spicy chicken sandwich. Sounded exciting but really ended up being a bit middle-of-the-road in terms of taste. I probably should have gotten something more cafe-oriented... but I wanted to try it. Overall Qisa is an enjoyable cafe experience and worth visiting!

Pistachio latte, honey roll, chicken roll, spicy chicken sandwich, and a strawberry banana smoothie: all were to die for!

Came here with my family for Father's Day and it turned out to be a fantastic choice! Great espresso, made skillfully. A nice selection of savories and sweets to choose from that really hit the spot--simple but flavorful. And a really comfortable atmosphere. I do believe this will be a new regular spot!

Just so happened to be in the area on a whim! Needed an afternoon pick me up and googled nearest coffee shop. Qisa popped up so I stopped by and tried what seemed to be the most reviewed item and I am SO HAPPY I did. The girl came out and took my order and before I could even finish paying the barista had my drink ready. Efficient, fast and so freaking good! Can't wait to come back

Sweet coffee and trendy vibes. I got an iced pistachio latte-it's quite a decadent drink, dessert-like. There is plenty of seating-a good study spot and the drinks come out pretty quickly.

Pistachio cake with milk. Which is light and so yummy! It has a texture almost like tres Leche cake. It's super moist and delicious!!!

This place is not your ordinary coffee shop. If you like strong coffee... you will love this place! It's Yemen coffee and it's going to keep you awake! Not for the faint of heart. That or I am just a coffee wimp! LOL!!! The service is excellent and friendly. It's definitely an experience. Oh and their dessert is super decadent! Yum!!! Definitely somewhere worth checking out.

First time at Qisa coffee today! It's so cozy! I tried their pink chai special. Beetroot gives it the signature pink color. I got a slice of the honey bite. It's a pastry that the barista described as an everything bagel with cream cheese inside. They warm it up and top it with honey! It was delicious! The drinks and pastry both came out quickly!

We came here early on a weekend and it wasn't busy. Although I think it would be hard to find parking when it is busy. Lucky for us, we came here and got the deal, buy one get one 50% off (7am-8am). I got a pistachio latte and it was very tasty. However, they ran out of mugs so we got to-go cups. It was weird because there was only 3 other people in the shop, lol. Overall, a good experience. Would go back again if in the area.

I really like this place! A Yemeni coffee spot in Curtis Park that is perfect for meeting and chatting with friends or even reading or studying alone! I love all their offerings - especially the pistachio latte. They spread the pistachio crème all around the cup before filling it with ice and the latte. The flavor of the crème is a little overly sweet but it mixes well with the rest of the drink and overall is well balanced. We also order a green tea lemonade that was amazing. Super flavorful, not just a regular mix that you can find at a restaurant - this drink was curated. The prices here are a little steep, $7-8 per drink but the quality is very well worth it. I also loved the spinach croissant I ordered. Very similar to the one at La Bou but with more herbs/spices! I believe a regular croissant is $5 and the spinach one is an extra $2. The staff I interacted with were friendly and patient. They seem to work together well.

This shop is located at the end of DoCo across from Sauced in the spot that was previously a Starbucks Reserve shop.Parking is available underneath DoCo in the city lot, with validation available from the business tenants of DoCo but with the abundance of street parking available,I just parked on the street. Upon walking in I knew I made the right choice that morning,I know it sounds cliche but that place is a vibe. They were playing solid Latin music, the decor inside was truly thought thru to convey a particular feel-it felt great in there, now I just had to hope the coffee and small bites, matched up to the ambience. This particular morning was pretty busy as there were like about 10 people in line when I got there and only 1 person taking orders plus the tables were at about 90% capacity but it wasn't hard to find a place to sit because the turnover for tables was really fast. We decided to try a few things that visit,I went with a Dulce de Leche latte"Grandote" size ($7.00) and the wife went with a similar sized Mexican Mocha ($7.00).We also decided to get some food,so ended up going with the Bacon,Egg,and Cheese breakfast sandwich($7.50) and also the Torta de Jamon ($15.00). Coffee was made pretty quickly but there was a slight wait for the food but didn't mind it too much as I can tell it was made very fresh as I got to watch the worker make my Torta-very glad it wasn't premade. I really loved my Dulce de Leche latte-gave me caramel macchiato vibes but just different enough,it was really good,I tasted the Mexican Mocha and it tasted exactly like one should taste,it's just not my particular preference, but I blame that on my palette not the craftsmanship,as the wife truly enjoyed it. As for the food I really liked the Bacon breakfast sandwich, was a solid value for what we got,I would for sure order it again if I just wanted a quick small bite. The Torta de Jamon I really really enjoyed, featuring ham with avocado, pickled jalapeños,pepper jack cheese, fresh tomato, queso fresco served on toasted bread-very tasty and fresh tasting-I would for sure order it again. That being said, the true star of the night when it comes to this visit was the place itself,I really enjoyed the ambience, the customers, the decor,I'm really glad this place exists and it's a welcome addition to the downtown Sacramento coffee scene-I look forward to returning.
