Okay been back here a few times and can confidently say their coffee and breakfast burritos are the BEST!! I tried the cookie butter latte this time and had the soy chorizo breakfast burrito! Def a must if you're in the area.

Visited the new coffee shop at the WAL Public Market building. They had select few pastries, beans and an extensive drink menu to satisfy any customer. They also have a seasonal lineup that is sure to satisfy your taste buds. I went with the Cookie Butter latte and have heard it is not that sweet. And I'm happy to report, it's not that sweet. I like my coffee less sweet to no sweet and the Cookie Butter latte hit all the right notes for me despite it's name. It was creamy, buttery and less sweet. I believe another reviewer mentioned they make their syrups in house so kudos to whomever created the cookie butter syrup. As it tastes exactly like what you'd expect without overwhelming the senses. When I visited, there was only 1 barista taking orders and making the drinks. My drink came out pretty quickly despite the small line, however, it was a Sunday morning so I'd expect the rush to be sometime later. There are plenty of tables to sit at and opportunities to stay awhile if need to.

Glad to see this spot take over the former Camellia then Milka spot at the WAL public market. We were warmly greeted by the owner Malik as my boyfriend and I were looking over the menu. Nice, clean and modern space to enjoy your coffee/food. I like how they have familiar stuff you see at any cafe but also some different seasonal drinks. With all the great coffee places in town having a menu to make you stand out and be different is important. It looks like they make their own syrups which I greatly appreciate. Makes me enjoy the craft even more. My boyfriend got a hot Chipotle Chili Mocha and I got a hot White Chocolate Peppermint Mocha. Both drinks were absolutely DELICIOUS. They both were well balanced in the taste not too sweet but the flavors danced perfectly with the milk and the espresso. The Chipotle Chili was not too hot in relation to spice but the smokiness was there on the back end of the sip. After the coffee is gone and you want to lick the foam from around the inside of the cup is a tell-tale sign of a perfect latte. Milk steamed to perfection tasting like melted ice cream and that was delivered from our visit at Twin Snakes. After one visit this place is officially on our favorite coffee spots in town and we cant wait to come back.

LOVE this space! Perfect for studying, working or meeting up with a friend! Also doubles as a gallery space, and had other businesses inside so it's like a lil community. The coffee is always superb. The owner works hard to make sure you're getting the best quality pours every cup! All the drinks are carefully thought out and handcrafted with fun seasonal creations along with the staples! The pastries are made by Pain Pan bakery and are so delicious! Menu for the sweets changes weekly/per availability so make sure you get what you want when you see it! On R street so there is plenty to do and check out after you get your drink!

Located inside the Artist Lofts with nice seating and great customer service. It is not that busy during the AM with lots of seating. Baristas are always really polite and smiling. Americanos and lattes are delicious. Comfortable seating to be able to do some work or reading. A go to from now on when in the area.

Brought my own carrier so I can try a few drinks to welcome Twin Snakes Coffee to the neighborhood

Welcoming Twin Snakes Coffee to the R street neighborhood at WAL public market. Replacing what was previously Milka Coffee, Twin Snakes Coffee is great for fancy Mochas and cookie butter latte lovers. From housemade syrups to custom Chocolate sauces, this spot is a real holiday treat. For the mocha lovers, there is a chipotle chili mocha to warm you up in this cold weather or a white chocolate peppermint Mocha to get in the holiday spirit. Most popular and my favorite from today's order was the cookie butter latte. Strong Coffee and not too sweet, just the way I like my lattes. Drinks are also available in regular or decaf.

First time visitor! It's easy to find right in front, inside of the WAL Public Market. There is free 90 min street parking right outside too so it was easy for us to drop in for a quick drink. I liked that they had specialty drinks but the menu is quite barren overall, guessing because they just opened recently! The cookie butter latte had beautiful latte art and you can smell the cookie butter as soon as you begin drinking. I hope to return to try more of their drinks soon!

Shoutout to Steven for his amazinggg service like where do you guys find baristas this efficient and talented with customer interactions ! I asked him how the matchas were and he let me know the cafe is more coffee-oriented, but said people still order the matchas a lot. He recommended the Vanilla Bourbon latte with sweet cold foam and it was fireeee. I recommend adding cinnamon powder on top. The vibe here is also really unique. I know the car in the middle might throw some people off at first, but I honestly love the minimal/open layout and how there's space between tables instead of cramming everyone together. The aesthetic is super nice, and there's also a giant mirror if you want cute pics with your friends. The drinks are a little pricey for the size, so this will probably be more of a treat-yourself spot for me, but overall I had a great experience. Good wifi, good seating, great vibes all around. Would definitely recommend checking it out. Thanks Chloe !

As for the food, the bacon and onion croissant really stood out, very tasty ( though I imagine it would be even better warm ). The caramel apple cheesecake was also incredible, delicious and not overly sweet, even though the name might make you think otherwise. Overall, if you get a chance to stop by for breakfast, you definitely won't regret it. Thank you!
