I brought a friend from Arizona to this food truck. And I love fried chicken and I ordered a fried chicken sandwich which was an edible. Again I was thinking to myself God this chicken is so bad it reminds me of a place I went to downtown. And I turned around and looked at the name and I said oh my goodness this is the same place. Just a different location. The chicken was dry. It was practically burnt. The bun was like mush and fell apart and the same thing happened to my friend's burger bun. you couldn't hold onto the sandwich because everything was sliding out. Once again, I was disappointed I would've never chosen that if I recall the name of the place, I had done a review on before. I don't know why they don't clean their grease because that's one of the reasons it's so dark and they overcook it but the fact that they can't even put it on a bun that will hold the food is totally ridiculous. was gonna order!! super excited to try, however technology was being technology and wasn't working, not my issue at all! stuff happens, i work in a food truck myself and totally get the occasional malfunction!! however, i was standing there for maybe less than two minutes, told the guy (bald w long brown beard) that i was in no rush and didn't mind waiting, and he said it would just be a minute. however, he loudly said to the food truck next to him "i need help fixing my computer, this annoying ass customer won't leave me alone." again, i was super nice, waited patiently, i was ready to order and tip well, and was standing there (looking at the menu still deciding what to eat mind you) for not even 5 minutes. i understand the situation was frustrating, however the rudeness of the person working there (so loudly and carelessly as if i couldn't hear him), made me not want to eat there. i definitely don't appreciate the attitude, i don't think i did anything wrong by standing and waiting to give a company that was open and selling food money. read more

This was by far the worst fried chicken experience I've had. I regret giving this place a shot. First off the service was terrible, guy working the check out was totally out of it, it was like he didn't want to make business or something. I should have turned away then but I was hungry and craving a fried chicken dinner. When I got the food the chicken plate I ordered was supposed to come with a side instead it was just poorly seasoned chicken with no side. The green beans I ordered were greasy, soggy and had zero flavor. To top it all off the picture of the desert on the website looks great with layers of crust and bananas but they literally gave me a cup of cream and pudding, zero bananas and zero crust. OK so this place gives you high-quality food had a great portion, I got four chicken tenders a great dipping sauce and the waffle was fantastic. I really feel like they could even lose a chicken tender and charge the same price it was very good. You could tell them it was fresh and the waffle had very good flavor. The meat was very Juicy. My wife had the pork chop and mashed potatoes with jalapeño gravy the pork chop was a bit dry and didn't have the taste she was hoping for the mashed potatoes were very good but the jalapeño gravy just didn't deliver. I would be interesting to try more food here come back again if you're hungry it's a good place to eat there's definitely enough food,and I'm kind of a pig. read more

Paired with a fluffy waffles, it's the best way to eat chicken. The spicy sauce isn't very spicy, more sweet. But still good for dipping. Brought my dad here for early father's day since his favorite food is chicken and waffles. First of all, absolutely the nicest guy ever working there. So friendly and welcoming. Made me want to order the whole menu. Chicken and waffles were great and out a smile on my dads face. The syrup with the hot sauce was fantastic. My only wish is I personally like bone in chicken vs strips for chicken and waffles, I know that would take a lot longer so probably not as ideal for a truck. Finally came back and got to try the bone in fried chicken yesterday. I'm sad that it didn't live up. The batter was so dark it was almost burnt and tasted so. The worst part was the meat was so salty that I was only able to eat one piece and will have to put the meat in something like a soup. The best part was the sweet potato fries. And the mashed potatoes and gravy were very good. I was so excited to be walking distance from a fried chicken place but sadly I don't think we'll be back. Had the chicken sandwich the first time and it was just ok. It was greasy and the flavors were meh. Came back for the fried chicken and was really excited for "central Oregon's best" and was sadly very very disappointed. Either the oil was too hot or dirty as the initial bite tasted burned. The next part was the worst; it was so salty I could barely take it. hours later my pallet is still suffering. I'm typically not sensitive to salt but this seemed to be possibly brined in over salted water but then over salted afterward as well as the salt affected all of the meat all the way to the bone. If this was an off night I understand but unfortunately it was so off that I'll not be able to justify the return trip. The service was excellent so I gave it an additional star. Edit: Owner reached out to me and assured me they would make it right and maybe the style of chicken was just not what we're used to. Another 5 minutes and finally my order was taken. A little rushed and gruff - I get it, you're busy, but come on. When my order was ready, I appeared at the window and saw my food, but no one said so - had to ask if it was mine, reach for it through the window and walk away. I posted a review with two stars and I mentioned how badly I wanted to give it five. I made a clear mention of my good experiences with the food here in my shock after an order which was so badly cooked that it never should've left the kitchen.
