We found this place during our stay in Camarillo when I ran a race in Ventura. We asked for recommendation and the lady at the counter recommended Boulevard burger which was absolutely delicious! We also ordered truffle & parmesan fries, corn, and Asian salad -which was way way to much food for two people. The portions were pretty generous and more than enough for two people. The food arrived fast, service was very friendly and very good! They also have a few TV in the bar/restaurant so you can watch sports. I highly recommend this place, specially if you are looking for a good burger experience. We would come back if we are ever in the area. read more

I have been here about 5 times but kept forgetting how great it is! I usually do InNOut and Habit for a lot less money- however today I decided to try it again and wow, best burger in Camarillo. My burger was the one with American Cheese, lettuce, tomato and grilled onions with Thousand Island- it's PERFECTION and was only $10. It's called the Ca Jedi and I highly recommend! Also their shakes and sweet potato fries are amazing too but will run the calories and price up quite a bit- but give the burger a try and you will be sold! This was my first visit to Blvd Brgr. I have heard positive things about this establishment since they opened and I made some time to give them a shot today. Blvd Brgr is a modern take on a burger restaurant with seating outside, as well as inside. Blvd Brgr also has a bar on pthe left side of the establishment with televisions on two walls. I ordered the El Fuego burger, no changes to its standard toppings. Additionally, I made it a combo and opted for the Blvd Tots, which the cashier recommended. Any burger can be made a combo which includes a drink and a variety of sides. The drinks are available to the left of the cashier and are self-service. The El Fuego burger was good; however, it did not suit my personal taste, to each their own, no harm no foul. The El Fuego burger is a certified Angus beef patty topped with the following: smoked bacon, a cheddar jalapeño crisp, onion ring, fresh jalapeños, melted pepper jack cheese, and a chipotle aioli sauce. In my opinion the best part of the El Fuego burger was the cheddar jalapeño crisp. It brought a nice flavor to the burger and a crisp, firm texture to counter the typical soft textures found in burgers. The El Fuego, in my opinion, was not spicy at all. I was a little disappointed as I thought the fresh jalapeños would give the burger a kick, however that was not the case. The pepper jack cheese was good quality and gave the burger a couple good "cheese-pulls" while eating. The chipotle aioli was good; although to me it severely overpowered the other flavors of the burger. It was so much that I eventually took the top bun off and scraped away as much as I could. This over abundance of chipotle aioli may have been what drowned out the "heat" of the burger. This burger has potential, but for me, way too much aioli and lack of heat unfortunately. The Blvd Tots were a nice surprise. Most establishments serve tots plain; however, these tots were beyond that. The Blvd Tots are tater tots covered in a spice mix, feta cheese, garlic aioli, and mint. I know what you're thinking, "but you hated the chipotle aioli"; however, these had a very light layer which coated the tots and helped the toppings stick. The one ingredient that shined on the Blvd Tots was the mint. The mint brought a strong contrasting flavor which gave the tots a nice aromatic sensory kick as well. I was very surprised and delighted that the mint was on there, I wish there was more! There was plenty to feed anyone in a combo. So much in fact that I didn't finish the burger and had about half of the tots left too. Blvd Brgr was good, and I'd like to give it another shot. read more

Went here for lunch with my girlfriend. Got the boulevard burger with a fried egg and truffle/Parmesan fries. Girlfriend got the chicken tenders and bacon mac and cheese. The burger was good but the patty wasn't seasoned so that it made a unpleasant contrast between the bland burger patty and the toppings (cheese, quac, egg). The fries though good were not seasoned and there was nothing to stick the parmesan to the fries. Maybe if they pulverized the Parmesan into a powder it may coat the fries better. Found myself in town unexpectedly and was hungry but it was getting late. They have a huge menu of craft burgers. The guy taking my order, Garrett, didn't seem surprised at all when I told him, "I don't like mushrooms other than that, surprise me with a burger." Totally unfazed, he replied, "Sure, I'll give you my favorite. What about fries or a side?" I told him to surprise me with that too. I appreciated that he was able to read my vibe and just casually roll with it. I'm the end, I got these really good fries that had garlic and Parmesan on them that were surprisingly good that I never would have tried on my own. The receipt says Truffle fries, highly recommend. It says the burger was called El Fuego, it had jalapeños and bacon on it, and was also something I never would have ordered on my own but I liked it. Still searching for an amazing burger after moving to Oxnard 2 years ago from TX. I ordered the West of Philly burger. They did no ask me how I wanted it cooked. Big problem because the burger was overcooked. Yes, when I pressed the burger together juices came out but I'd stake my life's savings on the juice being from the sautéed veggies. The cheesesteak meat was also overcooked and to be honest, I could taste the beef or the cheesesteak apart and bother were underwhelming. The mushrooms were way under-sautéed which presented a texture conflict with the rest of the ingredients. At times I honestly felt I was eating a veggie burger made from Portobello mushrooms. There definitely needs to be 2 slices of cheese on this one because you couldn't taste it at all. I kind of wonder if maybe cheesesteak sandwiches and burgers should just stick to being brilliant on their own? Their tater tots were cooked to perfection and their Ranch Dressing is real (a must for me!) but it isn't a full tiny cup's worth so you're left with half of your tots and no dipping sauce. I wanted to try the Savage burger too but this is now a one-and-done place for me so there won't be a next time and maybe I'll just hear from someone else how great that one is. I gave 3 stars because of friendly staff, outdoor seating, piping hot food when brought to you and their tots. The patty is perfectly cooked and a good size. The cheese is melted perfectly as a crown around the patty. We shared a tray of fries between the two of us. They were crispy and tasty. We also grabbed a couple of beers. Ok price breakdown: Purist burger $8 Fries $5 Beer $7 Total $35 plus tax and a tip WELL WORTH IT!! You won't be disappointed. They have seating inside but it's best to sit outside under the umbrellas and nice weather of Camarillo. While driving up the 101 and after a quick visit to the Camarillo Outlet, I decided to see what local burger joint to try. Yelp did not disappoint with this one. I was greeted promptly and enthusiastically shown the menu/specials. After checking out the variety of choices, I decided to go with the Napa burger and Buffalo fries. I asked for mid-rare but it came out more mid-well, still juicy though. The Napa included sauteed mushrooms, melted brie cheese, bacon onion jam, and garlic aioli. It was great! Buffalo fries had dry rub on it with buffalo sauce and blue cheese dressing on the side. I suggest you mix the sauce and dressing together before dipping the fries. They have plenty of seating.
