    Chocolate croissant

I stumbled across this coffee spot while going to ups in the same plaza. It was quite busy inside and everyone was chitchatting which was nice to see. It seems like neighborhood spot to meet up at. They even had some books for kids there on a small bookshelf. This review is mainly for their chocolate croissant that really blew my socks off. Like this is the best chocolate croissant I've had ever. The chocolate was rich and perfect. I've had most in the area; most are from wholesale bakeries or manresa. But when I heard from the cashier they made these in house, I had to try them! I will definitely be back to try their other food items. Their coffee was great too. A pretty decent size latte for around $6. I've had more expensive coffees for less quantity elsewhere. It seems like a solid spot!! No wonder they've been around since I was in middle school.

9/1/25 - Nice coffee shop that sells food too! I loved their ham, egg, and cheese croissant! I also got the cinnamon twist drink too! Both really nice after my run! The employees were also really nice as well! I enjoyed going here! Thank you!

Food was tasty and I'd return it in the area, but the staff wasn't friendly at all and on their phones behind the counter while we stayed to eat. Not very warm or inviting at all.

Always come back to Blvd when I'm around the Almaden location! I used to get the crepes all the time and now have switched over to get breakfast bagels!! The coffee and specialty holiday drinks are also my favorite. Tried the Cozy Latte today probably my favorite so far! I didn't get any today but their scones are also amazing! Always super busy in here so theres a bit of a wait but so worth it!

I love this coffee shop's maple scone, strawberry scone, and cinnamon latte. The service is good. The atmosphere could be improved, but it's still a nice spot to visit.

I like the Cubano a lot. I also had one of the mocha drinks, but 16 oz is a lot and that's the smallest they have for a mocha.

A healthy alternative for brunch! Then menu has many offerings to suit most every palette. I appreciate how most of the ingredients are listed in each entree. It would be even better to have the ingredients of the batter listed somewhere, though. I pre-ordered ordered the Avocado, and I received a message that my order would be ready in about 20 minutes. I arrived six minutes early, but my order was ready at that time. The ingredients were indeed fresh. I could smell the veggies - a good sign of freshness. The crepe was big, cut up and placed in the container in two layers. The crepe batter was fluffy and not dried-out, and the lemon tahini sauce provided a nice touch of lemony flavor that was not overpowering. To say that the flavor was bland is not really accurate, as the flavor was organic - I could taste each vegetable without the saltiness. For some people this may be bland. But for those of us who need to watch our salt intake, it was good. I am happy that this establishment caters to those with dietary restrictions. Nowadays this seems to be more and more of an important consideration when choosing where to eat. In that respect, Crepe Bistro does not disappoint.

On our last morning in San Jose, we had to check out of our hotel by 11 a.m., but we didn't have to…read morebe at the airport until 1, so we decided to find somewhere nearby for a little brunch before heading to the airport. We honestly didn't do much research--we just searched what was close by, saw that Whisper's had crêpes, and thought, Yep, that's where we're going! It ended up being a great choice. The restaurant was an easy walk from our hotel, which made it perfect for our last morning. They have both indoor and patio seating, and we found a nice outdoor table that had a mix of shade and sunshine--pretty much the perfect San Jose morning. The ordering process was a little different than I expected. Even though it's a sit-down restaurant where they bring your food to you, you actually order at the counter like you would at a fast-food restaurant. They give you a number to take to your table, and then your food is brought out. We waited less than 15 minutes for our food, so the whole process was really quick. One thing I thought was especially nice is that SJSU students, teachers, and staff receive a discount. If you're connected to San Jose State, definitely ask about it when you order! My daughter ordered a hamburger and fries and absolutely devoured the burger. The fries weren't anything particularly special, but the burger was a hit. It did come with what felt like an entire head of lettuce, though! We ended up taking quite a bit of it off because there was just so much. I ordered the eggs over easy with ham and their potatoes, and the combination was fantastic. I also got two pieces of lightly buttered white toast, and I know toast doesn't sound exciting, but it was actually really good. I ate both pieces with a little grape jelly and had no complaints! Of course, we couldn't leave without trying a crêpe, so we split the Dolce Sweet Crêpe for dessert. This was definitely my favorite part of the meal. It was absolutely delicious, and the walnuts were my favorite part. I could have eaten the whole thing myself. After we finished eating, we just sat outside for a little while and enjoyed the beautiful weather before heading back to grab our things and make our way to the airport. The staff was attentive, plates were cleared quickly, and the atmosphere was quiet enough that we could actually sit and talk. There was also plenty of seating both inside and outside. Overall, this was such a great little brunch spot, especially if you're staying at one of the nearby hotels or you're a student, teacher, or staff member at SJSU. It's walkable, quick, has plenty of seating, and the food was delicious. We picked it completely on a whim and ended up being really glad we did. Definitely recommend if you're looking for a casual brunch spot in the area!

To me, it was a decent brunch spot with appropriate service. If you're looking for a classic diner with typical breakfast favorites especially for crepes, this place does the job. It is pretty spacious and has decent outdoor seating. However, I thought the restaurant had a slight lingering odor. The eggs were cooked well and the breakfast potatoes had a nice texture. I saw someone else who ordered side fruit and it did not look too appetizing. Their Eggs Benedict was a bit bland and would think there could be more seasoning. It was not too memorable, but I'm glad I tried it out. It's close to SJSU, so it's convenient for the college students!

I wasn't starving and the portions seemed huge. Waiter asked if I wanted 1 or 2 biscuits. I opted for 2. What a mistake! They were enormous. So big, so much gravy. The biscuits were perfectly made. They could have been eaten just as they were without the gravy. They were the best biscuits ever. The gravy had a nice thick consistency that one expects from a breakfast gravy. I'm partial to a bit more spice but you're not going to please everyone. I could only eat one of the biscuits because the helpings were so generous.
