Whatever they say good about this place, believe it!! GOSH how can one sandwich be so divine?! Ambiance: very small space so don't expect seating for a large party. However, service moved well and the ambiance exudes Black excellence. That said, it is a Black woman owned restaurant and I'm proud to have supported such a great spot. Drink: cold brew with almond milk and sugar free caramel syrup. Wasn't anything spectacular but a refreshing cold brew nonetheless. Classic egg drop: this sandwich was AMAZING!!!!!!! Let's break down the parts that literally left my head spinning. The eggs were so fluffy and scrambled soft and the cheddar cheese and special sauce added on top was pure perfection. The bacon was plentiful and amazing The brioche bread was A HIT! GOSH this was soooo buttery soft with a hint of sweetness which complimented the savoriness of the egg and bacon. Overall I had such an amazing time here and my only sadness is that there isn't one located in my state.

Found this place on TikTok and had to try because it's woman owned and black owned!!! Love everything about that so I took the 15 minute walk from my hotel to try it. Love the decor in this place...very nice and sleek and you place your order at the counter but there are seats and tables in the place to sit and enjoy your food. I just ordered the classic egg drop and a water but their menu is very nice and everything looked good. I just couldn't eat too much after all the other food I had in New Orleans. They have a variety of matches and coffees.

AMAZING is the only way I can begin to describe my experience at BMP & GRND, a fabulous matcha café in an incredible location right on the edge of the CBD and the French Quarter. From the Sheraton on Canal, it was an easy eight-minute wheelchair roll to this hidden gem. In fact, I had passed it a few times because it does not have a visible sign yet, and the address listed online can be a little confusing (the actual location is 419 Carondelet, not 410). Once I found it, though, the experience was absolutely worth the search. The moment I entered through the flat glass doors, I was greeted by a clean, chic, and inviting space. The atmosphere strikes that perfect balance between modern and comfortable. And let me tell you, the three sisters behind the counter were absolutely PHINE! Beyond their beauty, they were warm, welcoming, knowledgeable, and incredibly accommodating. Their energy made the visit even better. I ordered the Veggie Drop Sandwich and the Smoked Salmon Avocado Toast, minus the avocado (not my thing). After a quick roll back to the hotel, I was pleasantly surprised: the food was still warm, portions were generous, and everything was delicious. What an amazing find. Every once in a while, a content creator recommendation actually delivers, and this one was right on the money. Another great stop added to the adventure. #tysadventures26 #bmpgrnd #NOLA #BlackOwned

We were visiting from Texas and so excited to try this place out but disappointed at how many items they were out of by 11am.. almost half of the matchas and lattes were out and they were completely out of whole milk. We ended up just ordering a strawberry matcha for our daughter and a couple sandwiches but no coffee which is the main reason I wanted to come here. At the very least, they should have a sign on the door that says they are out of certain items so people don't wait in the long line for nothing. The sandwiches were good but the strawberry matcha was way too sweet. The decor was very pretty and had a good vibe but overall I was disappointed.

As soon as you walk in, the energy is immaculate. The staff is busy making sandwiches and morning beverages, but the welcome still hits. I ordered the classic egg drop sandwich and their ultimate banana pudding sandwich. The perfect sweet and savory combo. Clean establishment with a soundtrack that brings the vibes. Give them a try!

Best place I have visited in a long time. The food is so good, matcha is perfect! The employees are nice, too. Its small inside but the line moves quickly and the wait is worth it!! 100/10

Great neighborhood coffee spot with a cool, laid-back vibe. Solid espresso, friendly staff, and a menu that doesn't overcomplicate things. Good spot to post up with a laptop or grab something quick on the go. Would definitely stop in again.

BMP & GRND has nested their new home on Carondelet, previously homed Yo Nashi. The aesthetic of luxury greets you upon entry. They still have the same counter bar set up but now serves breakfast. I only ordered the egg drop sand which I thought was tasty. Soft scramble eggs, crispy bacon, a slice of American cheese hugged between two buttery toasts drizzled with this spicy sauce. Idk if it's spicy mayo, tastes like it lol they serve matchas, refreshers, and coffee. Limited menu. Staff was so nice! Wait time was about 30 mins. Definitely would come again. Only issue was the line flow. It caused confusion and was a cramped. Overall, would return!

Rating: 9.5/10 One of the better cafes in the CBD, Bmp & Grnd is a new business serving an array of specialty items in the shop. It's got a beautiful aesthetic and a great ambiance inside. The baristas were great with service and ordering. I was able to try the Egg Drop sandwich ($15), brown sugar matcha ($9) and the famous banana pudding ($7). Everything was so delicious. The breakfast sandwich bread was so soft and the sauce that's on it is so good. The only downside is parking, typical of the area. But it's worth it to get the food!

I stopped by on a Sunday morning, but the line was out the door, so I decided to return the next day. I originally wanted to try their espresso, but the machine was down, so I went with the brown sugar cinnamon matcha instead, and I'm glad I did because it was delicious. I also ordered the salmon toast and the French toast egg sandwich, and both were fresh, flavorful, and really satisfying. Even though I missed out on the espresso this time, the food and matcha made for a good visit.

Was here visiting from California and had to stop in to get my coffee fix a couple of times. The sandwiches were a hit and had the latte on one visit and the strawberry matcha on the next the both didn't disappoint. Service was long but that just shows you how popular they are. The coffee shop was small but well designed and easily located. It didn't disappoint.

Came here for the first time during Essence Fest weekend so of course there was a line outside. The line moved quickly and one of the servers made sure to check on everyone in line and provide cold waters to everyone, which is 10/10 service already. Since it was Essence fest, they had a condensed menu but came for the amazing egg sandwich. Lovely and slick space on the inside. The egg sandwich was just as good as it looked. Made to order. Fresh and filling. Will definitely be a regular.

Fast service! Cute little shop with a nice chill atmosphere. We stopped by BMP & Grnd for breakfast, and it was the perfect way to start the day. The breakfast sandwich was fresh, filling, and packed with flavor without feeling too heavy. Paired with a smooth, well-balanced latte, it was exactly what I needed before exploring the city. I'd definitely make this a repeat stop on my next trip to New Orleans.

For entrées we had Banana Foster Pain Perdu, Side of Duck Bacon, Hashbrown, 100% Seafood Gumbo and Fried Catfish. Everything was seasoned to perfection and hot!!! Last but definitely not least are the Cocktails which were very good. Try the Cold Brew Martini if you like iced coffee type drinks and also try the Strawberry Lemon drop for a sweet treat. Both taste great and have a nice amount of spirits in them. This is a must try in NOLA. Will definitely return!!

We checked into our nearby hotel a bit early in the day and was looking to hit the streets for a spot to get a chill/light breakfast, a coffee and maybe a cocktail. We found all the things at Luzianne Cafe. Whether you belly up to the bar or grab a table, both of which are first come first serve, you start at the counter where you order, pay and grab your table number. It appears that during busy times they allow you to sit first and order from the QR at your table, this is an assumption given the code to order at the table, but the sign at the entry directed folks to the counter to order before sitting. For breakfast, we got the breakfast biscuit which came with eggs, bacon and cheese, and sided it with grits. The breakfast sandwich was solid, eggs were a bit soft and grits were more mealy than we are used to, but I think that may be authenticity of the area more than anything. I opted for the three option omelet with onion, sausage and gouda plus a side of sausage links. The omelet, though odd sounding combination turned out to be solid. Maybe it was my options, but it was decently "one note" in flavor. I tossed a little hot sauce on and that helped. However, while the sausage links were not much to look at, they were tasty, with a nice snap to the casing and meaty inside.
