This was my first time here. It was a recommendation by a local. The aesthetics were absolutely beautiful. Its a trendy chic spot. Brunch was excellent. We ordered the empanadas, veggie omelete, & croissant with pork belly & cheese. The iced latte, iced chai latte, & iced Matcha were excellent. We had a great time!! I highly recomme

By now, this is my third (maybe fourth?) time at Lyons Corner, and let me tell you... I don't know why the bar is never crowded, but I'm not asking questions. I'm just enjoying the peace. Every time I go, I slide into my usual seat at the bar and catch up with my bartender bestie, Tiana. At this point, it's tradition. My order is consistent: - Truffle fries (crispy, perfectly seasoned, no notes) - Espresso martini (honestly one of the best in the city, debate your maw) - Caesar salad (and if Toni is anywhere nearby, I'm adding grilled chicken because I know it's going to be perfect). Everybody else I bring? They get the Smashburger, and I have never seen so much as a crumb left behind. Bottom line: If you're in New Orleans looking for an easy vibe, great drinks, and food that hits every time, pull up to Lyons Corner. Even if it's just for the espresso martini and a muffin... you won't regret it.

This is most certainly my new spot! Right in the next block from my house, very convenient If i'd like to grab a quick drink. This place is a coffee shop, bar, + restaurant connected to the Magnolia Hotel. I love the windows here, I find myself enjoying a drink and end up in a whole reverie while staring out of the windows. Service is always great and the staff are extremely cool. Tony was such a pleasure! It's such a great experience every time I visit here. Would highly recommend.

What a great spot for breakfast! Yummy matcha with oatmilk and hot tea. Staff is so friendly. The avocado toast is a work of art! Lovely decor.

Cute little cafe for breakfast or a coffee. Ordered a cappucino and it was stellar. The inside is very cute decor and the service is great.

She provided great service and awesome recommendations from drinks, apps and eats! Her personality was very pleasant and sweet. She was attentive but not overwhelming at all. Both Aurry and Joel contributed to the overall experience making it great. The FOOD was a HIT. Everything ordered was presented beautifully and delicious!!! The executive chef is definitely cooking very very well!!! We loved the Blue Crab Ragoon App as well as the Crab Cakes. There was nothing left on the plates. For entrées we had Banana Foster Pain Perdu, Side of Duck Bacon, Hashbrown, 100% Seafood Gumbo and Fried Catfish. Everything was seasoned to perfection and hot!!! Last but definitely not least are the Cocktails which were very good. Try the Cold Brew Martini if you like iced coffee type drinks and also try the Strawberry Lemon drop for a sweet treat. Both taste great and have a nice amount of spirits in them. This is a must try in NOLA. Will definitely return!!

The chicken had more breading than actual chicken, and the breading was so hard it felt like it was scraping the roof of my mouth. I was expecting crispy fried chicken, not something that was uncomfortable to eat. And the biscuit... OMG, hell no. I've definitely had a better Southern biscuit. Overall, the breakfast just wasn't good. I went in with high expectations because I had heard so much about this place, and it was a complete letdown. Then to pay $44 for a meal I didn't even enjoy made it that much worse. I've had way better Southern breakfasts for WAY less. I really wanted to like this place, but this meal was not it. We've been a huge fan of Chef Cook over the years and we're really sad to see this gem closing. We decided to share a bunch of small plates and split a main dish. The gumbo was my favorite starter and it's really hard to share a bowl because you want it all to yourself! I really enjoyed the oyster BLT with the crunchy oysters and crispy pork belly pieces. The main of chicken and dumplings is the epitome of comfort food. The service was amazing and staff is attentive. The food came out pretty quickly but we weren't rushed. Before leaving we made another reservation for this upcoming weekend before we have to say goodbye for good.

We checked into our nearby hotel a bit early in the day and was looking to hit the streets for a spot to get a chill/light breakfast, a coffee and maybe a cocktail. We found all the things at Luzianne Cafe. Whether you belly up to the bar or grab a table, both of which are first come first serve, you start at the counter where you order, pay and grab your table number. It appears that during busy times they allow you to sit first and order from the QR at your table, this is an assumption given the code to order at the table, but the sign at the entry directed folks to the counter to order before sitting. For breakfast, we got the breakfast biscuit which came with eggs, bacon and cheese, and sided it with grits. The breakfast sandwich was solid, eggs were a bit soft and grits were more mealy than we are used to, but I think that may be authenticity of the area more than anything. I opted for the three option omelet with onion, sausage and gouda plus a side of sausage links. The omelet, though odd sounding combination turned out to be solid. Maybe it was my options, but it was decently "one note" in flavor. I tossed a little hot sauce on and that helped. However, while the sausage links were not much to look at, they were tasty, with a nice snap to the casing and meaty inside. To go with our breakfast, I got a cold brew with a splash of almond milk while my partner embraced NOLA and started his day with a bourbon sour. Both of us enjoyed our choices! Service was friendly and helpful at the counter/bar. The food runner was nice and then another member, assuming the Manager, that stopped by to check on us mid meal. She was super friendly and nice.
